I believe her intentions are just, there doesn’t seem to be any reason why not to…Give her your word, but be carefully of how you say it, it would not help to have an oath bound to a rider we know nothing about. However, I agree, their intentions seem honorable. Aye.
Inclining her head, Audrina spoke in the ancient language, the syllables ringing. “If you keep to your promises, we will keep your existence a secret, provided it does not endanger the Varden. “ Reverting back to the common tougne for the sake of convienience, she asked. “The border of Surda is not far, a few leagues south, I expect you are aware of that. But what do you plan to do with the freed slaves once you get there?”

After an intense moment, in which Gianna was sure the woman and her dragon were conversing, the stranger replied. Sighing in relief, Gianna inclined her head in grattitude. "Thank you." She told her simply. "As for them," she said, avoiding the word slave, "Once we reach Surda, I let them make their own choices. Of course, I try to give them as much advice as possible, try to answer all their questions. They usually understand, and are able to cope with the switch between slavery and freedom." A slight smile spread across Gianna's lips, her heat joyous that she had successfully rescued those under the opression of the empire.
Glancing at Gladia, she said, I wonder what their names are? Gladia blinked at Gianna while fanning her wings. Me as well. However, as they will not know ours, so we shall not know theirs. However, perhaps they could help is in taking some of the slaves over. After all, you did overload that crate. Ah, yes. I shall see. Re-focusing on the other rider, Gianna placed her querry. "Perhaps it is not right to ask of you, but, could you perhaps assist me in taking some of these people into Surda? There were more people in the estate then I was expecting, so if you could, it would be a great relief for her," she said, placing a hand on Gladia's forleg.
The dark purple dragon bowed her head, aknowledging the truth of the words. To the other dragon, she said, Yes, rather than carrying ten people in the man-crate, my rider packed it with fifteen.

Einar tossed a pebble across the pond that lied within the castle walls. He felt utterly useless in the castle; he wanted to be outside, doing something...protecting her...being next to her. He sighed, knowing that it would never be. He skipped another pebble across the pond, watching the ripples expand and contract against each other.
He, again, wondered what she was doing, if she even thought about him as often as he had about her. Suddenly he felt a presence enter the garden that he was in.
"You sure do enjoy flowers these days." Ean observed. "What do you want,?" Einar grumbled as he splashed another pebble into the water, not having wanted to be disturbed. "The King wants to see you, my Lord. There is news of a dragon slayer being slain." "Really?" Einar looked at the pond, displaying disinterest in the subject, but was actually very intrigued. Stigandr lifted his head from the grassy spot he was lazily basking in. "Yes, my Lord. He wished to speak with you and perhaps the other Riders as well." "Good riddance, I say." Einar mumbled. "Those men are the beasts if you ask me." Ean stood silent. Einar groaned. "Fine. I will meet with the King." He strolled off towards the castle.

Audrina smiled for the first time that day,the warmth of it reaching to her eyes which shone merrily. Now that their intentions and motives were revealed, there was no reason why not to help a possible ally and her posture relaxed. "Aye,I'm sure they will once they recover their senses and relise they are free to do as they wish."She gave a bubbly laugh, releasing the tension she had felt coiled in a know in her stomach."It shouldn't take them long."
Syianna reached out to the other dragon, brushing her conciousness against the others and voicing her reply.Mine would do the same, only with perhaps less thought and more haste. she chuckled, smoke billowing from her scaly nose
"We would be happy to help, anyone who frees other's from Galbatorix is a friend of ours" Audrina spoke for both her and Syianna."How many do you need us to take? Syianna can acomidate 4-5 i believe,it's not that far to the border. From there we could escort them elsewhere to the capital, farming villages, whereever they decide to seek their fortunes. " "Also,I don't believe we've beeen introduced,I am Audrina Lamira and this is my soul partner Syianna." Audrina waited expectently for their names in return.

Gladdened by Audrina's words, Gianna bent in a deep, gratified bow. However, when it was clear she expected to hear her word, Gianna bit her lip, uncertain. Well. I suppose our name known to one of the varden isn't really that terrible. she told Gladia. Aye, maybe not. "Well met, Audrina, Syianna. My name is Gianna, and this is Gladia." After a breif moment of thought, she added, "Please, I would prefer our names to remain inconspicuous. If you can, try not to utter them around others. It would not do for our names to be well known anywhere." While she waited for some sort of consent from Audrina, Gianna glanced to Adira. Gladia, will you check on Adira? I fear she may try wondering away again.
Bending her head in consent, Gladia ambled off towards Adira, her long tail twitching behind her. Stopping before the freed slave, the amethyst dragon bent her neck and touched Adira's brow with her snout. Gently, she inserted her mind into Adira's. What magic controls you? she asked, snorting out a trail of smoke.

Adira looked up at the large purple dragon, sadness and longing in her eyes. "I don't know. Something in me wants to return...and something else is horrified by the thought. Help me! Please!" She began to tremble, wishing this would just end. She hated being controled against her will. She felt the compultion to return fading, but the small desire was still there. She sat on the ground and her tears fell.

A frustrated growl rippled from Gladia's throat, her talons gouging the earth. What meddling-magic was controlling Adira was beyond her. She could not feel her own deep-instinct-magic stirring, and she once more found herself wishing she could summon the energy at will. Heaving a sigh, Gladia raised her head and glanced around, pondering the situation. The partner-of-her-life-Gianna was still occupied with varden-rider-Audrina and kin-dragon-Syianna. She wondered if they had any ideas how to help Adira... Pushing her mind forward, she once more contacted the other violet-scaled-dragon. Syianna, this one here is ailed by a spell to which my rider nor I know how to remove. She feels compelled to return to her previous master, although she wishes to remain with us.
Looking back to wet-faced-Adira, Gladia spoke again to her. Fear not, you shall be free if Gianna and I must travel to the end of the world, as our duty as dragon and rider.

Einar entered the throne room, less intimidated by him then usual. "My King, you requested me?" He asked, his voice gruffy and hoarse.
OOC: lol. sorry, mica, it seems that i keep dragging your characters in random places lol.

Galbatorix sat upon the throne, seemingly bored by the mundane affairs within the castle this day. He looked up as Einar entered the throne room. His eyes narrowed as he looked him over. “You seem distracted. Get your head together!” He spat the words trying to snap the boy out of whatever grip seemed to have his mind ensnared. His look turned harsh as he stood but didn’t descend the steps from the throne. His form was menacing as his eyes bore down upon Einar from above. “Someone has killed one of my dragonslayers and I want you to track them down and deal with them. I don’t care how long it takes. Do not return until the person responsible is within your grasp do you understand!” Galbatorix turned his back on Einar dismissing him without further comment. He didn’t know what was up with the boy recently but could feel something different within him. ‘I shall need to watch him more closely.’ He thought to himself.

Einar cleared his throat after being snapped at. "Yes, my Lord. I will do as you request." He bowed and exited.
Not to return until he had the culprit? This is playing out very interestingly, Stigandr. I'm just surprised you didn't remain there and give yourself up, with all the oaths you've taken. Stigandr joked. Well, your not here, so I really don't have all those responsible in my grasp do I? Einar snickered. What are you going to do? Head to the slayer's camp and see what they know and then, I will finish the job I set out to do. He replied casually as he walked to his chambers to get provisions. Is this necessary? Of course. He replied, but his dragon was mostly worried about his attitude; killing soldiers on a mere whim...it was unlike him. For missions he would do it without question or if it was necessary, but just to kill them in cold blood? It was unlike him, and it terrified Stigandr.
Within 10 minutes they were up in the air, heading towards the border of Surda, where the slayer was killed only hours ago.

Aurdina nodded her consent, smiling wryly. “Aye,I can see how that would be a problem. Fear not friend, the only one who would know of your existence apart from us is Nasuada, the leader of the varden. May have you permission to tell her? She will make no mention of it elsewhere. It would do good to tell her; not only is she my leader, but an honorable and trustworthy person. She make sure none of the other riders attempt to harm you as we did." She colored slightly at the memory of her hasty mistake but recovered, rationalizing that if it was one of Galbatorix's riders then surprise would be an advantage she would need.
Syianna turned her mind to like-kin dragon Gladia and pondered her question. Its unlike any magic i've encountered before... Did her master have any magicians or sorcerers that resided in his estate or he entertained? It could be that they bound her with magic, creating a sense of loyalty so strong that she mustreturn-against her will. A simple incanation it might be,but the strength of it is quite potent,unless...[/color][/i] Syianna nosed Audrina with her snout, her thoughts ecoing through their bondI"ll be back little one, stay here with fellow-free rider Gianna. and she flapped lightly over to the stranger-face girl and projected her thoughts urgentlyLittle one,did your master ever ask you to repeat strange souding words? As a promise to him? She tried to project the impression of the liquid syllables of the ancient language. To Gladia she saidHer master may have coaxed her into pledging her loyalty to him in the ancient laguage,a bond so strong none can escape it
Audrina paused, not wanting to bring this up out of respect,it was obvious she valued her privacy. She was about to ask her question, but stopped as Syianna's thoughts entered her mind.Reading her thoughts she replied Go then, and help Gianna's friend turning back to the other rider she questioned "What assails your young friend over there? Has she fallen ill?"

Adira looked at the new dragon sadly and fearfully. "I...I don't remember. He had me to a lot of things for him. I never questioned him. I just did what I was told." She stared off toward where she knew her master was. She wished she could go to him, yet she also feared him and was glad to be free. Her large brown eyes stared deeply into the eyes of a dragon, and she felt as if she were drowning and no one could save her. Not even the dragons.

Gianna bit her lip, pondering Audrina's request. Finally, she gave a slight nod. "As you wish. Inform your leader. Her knowledge of us can only make transfering people into Surda easier." Audrina's next question caused Gianna to frown. "I know not what hinders Adira, but I believe strong magic has her under its whim. Gladia and I have been trying to help her, but we've gotten nowhere." She watched as the other purple dragon sailed over to Adira, and she prayed, to whomever would listen, that Adira could be helped.
Gladia heaved a sigh, her chest rising and falling heavily. If that is the case, she told Syianna, Then I will return to her master and kill him. Gianna will not like it, but I will do what is neccessary. She listened as the other slaves began muttering amidst themselves, and she could hear their voices clearly. They wondered what was transpiring, and they were clearly afraid of the new rider and dragon. Struck with an idea, Gladia turned to look at the group with a clear cut eye. You fellow, Adira, do you have any knowledge if magic controls her? Gladia included Syianna and Audrina in her message to the freed slaves.

Jumping off of Stigandr's back, Einar was greeted by several soldiers of the Empire. "Argetlam, we are honored to have you in our presence." they bowed their heads. "Funny, and to think, you desire to kill the dragons and their riders." The commanding soldier rose his head. "No, Rider, you are mistaken...we were under orders to kill hostile--" "Silence!" Einar slapped the soldier across the face. "Your excuses are not unknown to me. Just take me to the area were the slayer was killed." The commander yelped from the hit. He grimaced and nodded at Einar, leading him to the camp site.
Bowing down at the body of the slayer, Einar peered down at the man's face. "Have you any idea who may have done this?" "We think it may have been a sorcerer of some sort...our camp was defended with magical charms given to us by the King...." "And yet, the man is dead..." "The attacker must have been very powerful to have penetrated the camp undetected." Einar made a harsh grin under his mask. "Perhaps or you may be too weak." He rose from his kneeling position and approached the Commander, who shirked a little at his approach. "Burn the body. I don't want further report of this to reach the Varden or any of their allies. We have enough negative publicity." "Yes, Argetlam." The commander bowed and shouted several instructions at the men. "Once done, gather your men together, for I wish to know what they saw last night." "Of course. It will be done." The commander left Einar alone to follow his commands. Meanwhile, Einar stood at the spot where he had killed the Dragon Slayer, contemplating on whether or not he should kill the soldiers or spare them. He folded his arms behind his back and stood there, watching the smoke that was trying to rise from the fresh burning body of his victim.
