She has no idea who her parents are. She will come to know that her mother was of the seithr's coven of assassins and her father was an elf from Ellesmeara. When they took each other as lifemates, both had to leave their past so that they could be together. Their love for each other resulted in the birth of twin girls. In time these girls would develop special powers and sensing this Galbatorix sought them out. Their parents were slain when they attempted to hide the girls from Galbatorix and the coven. Elyria grew up in Ceunon. While out on the edge of the forest, at the age of 16 she came across and emerald colored stone and took it home. The egg hatched for her and she named the dragon Domia (Dominance). Domia has emerald scales and emerald eyes. He also has an inherent sense of honor, fairness, and justice. Role Play Sample: (At least 10 good sentences.)
Domia flew high above the desert, his emerald scales shown like jewels in the desert sun. Elyria sat atop him surveying the land below. ‘Domia what does that look like to you?’ The dragon turned his gaze to where she indicated. ‘Looks like a wagon being attacked by bandits. Shall we go introduce ourselves.’ Anger filled her eyes. ‘Yes lets.’ As Domia dove to the aid of the wagon she saw three men on horseback circling the wagon. The father stood in front of his wife and child with his sword in hand ready to die trying to protect them. “We don’t have anything of value. Go leave us.” The men sneared as they looked toward his wife and daughter. “Oh we see value. The slavers in the desert will pay dearly for a woman and child. That is after we finish with them.”
Elyria reached behind her head taking a silver arrow from its quiver. The emerald fletching matched the color of Domia’s scales. The silver bow in her left hand, she quickly knocked the arrow taking aim. Drawing back on the bowstring, she slowly exhaled and released the arrow sending it into the mans back and into his heart. The other two looked up to see where the arrow had come from. Domia gave a mighty roar as he descended toward them. Fear gripped the men as they fled.
