occ: Jeriah, I wince every time I watch the video you put up, poor Jayne... Jayne put his hat back on as the rider walked towards where the gray dragon was. I wonder which side he is on. He shook his head and concentrated on his task. The last of the bodies were soon gone. He quickly walked away just in case there was something else they needed to be done. He watched as two people who seemed collided and talked to each other. He brushed past them and glanced down at the man as he passed.

Tyr scoffed. "Walk somewhere else." He looked around, knowing that his position was now compromised. "Better yet, I'll take my leave." He made his way pass her, annoyed that he would now have to find a more secluded place to search for River.

Kaylee shook her head in disbelief at the man's rudeness. "I ain't never met a ruder, more drajl..." She let out a long string of curses, each one growing more creative than the last. "I might as well go see if I can find River," she finally said to herself and began walking to the castle, still shaking her head and muttering to herself. OOC: in the show, they curse almost entirely in chinese! It's awesome! lol!

"No, I do not know where she is, at the moment." Nasuada frowned, now concerned. Where indeed was the girl? Perhaps she was trying to resolve a more pressing issue somewhere else. Although, what could be more pressing than the risk of the varden leaders life? "What an unexpected day this has turned out to be," she muttered with a sigh. ~~~~
Elaine inclined her head to Simon. "If I see her, I shall let her know." She had seen the girl, Kaylee, with Simon and River before. For some reason, River seemed more functional around Kaylee, and Elaine was eternally grateful. Simon was right, River needed both Simon and Kaylee now. "I'll check on you both later." With that, she turned and nearly ran down the hall, her right hand cluthcing the hilt of her sword.
Once outside, Elaine spotted Kaylee not far away. Thanking her good luck, she rushed over to the woman. "Hail, Kaylee." Coming to a halt before the girl, she explained the situation quickly. "You should go to River. She needs you." And she explained the coordinates of the room. About to hurry on her way, Elaine paused and added, "Have you seen anything, or anyone, curious? Something triggered River's episode, and I feel like the cause may still be lurking around the castle." A spike of anger shot through her mind, causing her to wince. Eridor's strong emotions were washing over her own.

Kaylee saw Elaine coming toward her and smiled, momentarily forgetting about the rude man she had just run into. She nodded when Elaine told her to go to River, and she was worried about her, too. When the woman asked if she had seen anyone who might have triggered River, she shook her head. "I ain't seen nobody 'cept that rude rauthrian drajl barzul man a few minutes ago," she answered. OOC: lol, creative cursings on my account. lol. And I still haven't decided what to do with Elva...hmm......maybe she should go...idk, beat up Tyr or something. lol.

Perhaps the rude man would be worth checking out. Leaning in towards Kaylee, she asked, "where, where did you see him?" She had to repress the urge to reach out and grab the other woman's shoulders. Her own emotions combined with Eridor's were making her frantic and on edge. Casting out the awareness of her mind, she tried to locate something strange. After a moment, she touched something odd, and sinister. With wide eyes, she awaited Kaylee's answer.
OOC: haha. I'm sure she could take him.

"I bumped into him over there," Kaylee said, pointing to the shadowy area where he had been, "Then he walked off in that direction." She pointed again. At that moment, Elva appeared close by, but hardly seemed to look at them. She was hurrying off in the direction Kaylee was pointing in. Kaylee was fervently glad she didn't have to hear the child's voice. Though she felt sorry for Elva often, she always found it disconcerting whenever the cynical adult voice rang in her ears.

OOC: Haha, you can try! Hehehe >=]
Tyr wandered off into the direction where the outer wall/marketplace was located. He wondered if Tara was still around there.
*** "Perhaps." Arya commented to Nasuada's inference. "It is odd not to see her around; it discomforts me - she is usually around to protect you."
*** Tara still wandered into the inner castle walls. She asked if she was allowed to view the grounds; she had never seen a castle before and wondered if she could view the gardens or monuments..or sculptures.

Elva stalked her way through the marketplace, following the man. She had sensed misfortune of a wide variety originating from him, and his very presence made her want to rush to the help of those nearby. She suspected he was a Black Hand agent, and probably the one who triggered River's violent reaction. The thought of that made her even angrier. The girl had just seemed to be getting on the mend, then this happened. So Elva followed Tyr through the city, unsure exactly what she would do to him. But it was definately going to be something...misfortunate. OOC: MWAHAHAHAHHAHA! Elva is an evil little child!!!!

Elaine stared in the direction Kaylee pointed, then watched, slightly surprised, as Elva rushed in the same direction. She glanced quickly at Kaylee, "Thank you," she said, and then rushed after Elva. Eridor's voice rang in her mind. Elaine, do not pursue her! Whoever she is after, he is powerful and dangerous. Come to me now! Elaine frowned.
I'm sorry, Eridor. I cannot abandon this threat. To truly be a good rider, we need to be able to function apart. Consider this a test. Before Eridor could retory, Elaine cut off their connection. It was a painful experience, but she took comfort in the fact that, hopefully, they would not be seperated for long. Keeping some distance behind Elva, she tracked the girl carefully, hoping she would lead her to River's tormentor.

As Tyr scanned the area, he sensed a strong magical being. He stopped short and turned around. He spotted no one in particular, just some fishermen and children running around. His eyes narrowed as his magical senses led him to look at the children closer. Nothing is what it appears to be. His eyes remained on the children, particularly an odd little girl, who seemed unkempt. He decided to see whether or not the being was following him. Turning around again, he walked to the inner wall to the outer wall gates.

Elva paused for a minute next to a group of playing children, all of about five or six years of age. She stared at them, envious. She secretly longed to be able to run around like other children, to live carefree and happy. It was the greatest gift everyone got...and the very thing Eragon had stolen from her. She glanced up at the sky, wishing to see the sapphire dragon, the sign that Eragon was returning to fufill his promise to her and remove the spell he had cast upon her. That day will come soon enough, she thought, glancing back at the children, who were staring at her now. When she met their gazes, they began to shake and one of them began crying. She turned and continued on her way, saddened that she frightened even adults so. She looked around until she caught sight of the man she was pursuing. In the meantime, I can help the Varden however I can.

OOC: Jeriah, lol what do you think he's worse fear is? just by reading about him and what i've written? I can't make it THAT easy for you. However, I shall give you a hint: its the one thing he never seems to possess. Hmm...I may have given it away...oh well.
*** Tyr could still sense the being pursuing him. He frowned with annoyance. He could sense the great power from it, so he knew that it would be a worthy opponent....however, he still had his mission to complete; failure was not an option. If he fought this person, it would take forever, but if he ran, he would fail. He mused on his options as he strolled into the marketplace.

(ooc: sorry its been so long sense I posted. I have been ill.)
Balthazar listened to the Generals question of where he was from and who had sent him. He stood for a second and contemplated the question, as if searching his mind for some lost thought. He then lifted his head seeming very pleased with himself and started speaking in the ancient language again.
"I am from Du Weldenvarden and I have been sent by Queen Izlanzadi herself."
He knew he could say this in the ancient language because he did grow up in Du Weldenvarden and if not for the Queen banishing him he would never be were he was, so in a way she did send him.

Elva followed the man through the market, getting closer to him as she went.. As she got closer, she sensed his worst fear, as she felt with everyone she got close with. What that fear was surprised her so much, she nearly burst out in laughter. He's afraid of being human? She grinned as she continued following him.
