Fayr continued to go on with the fight though he was getting a little annoyed that he couldn't land a blow and was going to unleash every movement he knew and would try anything to win but then remembered he didn't want to hurt her. As her song grew he became calm again and continued to fight but his movements becoming a different dance complimenting each an every move she made. ************************************************************** Hiei turned and looked down, even if he was only a little more than a foot taller than the werecat, and if he was the least bit surprised he didn't show it. No one. His reply was slightly cryptic but as the fight progressed anyone could see the elf wasn't going to kill her and the music wasn't deadly. He watched as the crowd seemed happy and content from the magic, but Hiei could only sneer. Hate and pain covered his heart and the magic song fell on def ears.

OOC: Haha. Couldn't help it
Jerat licked her paws with boredom, while also checking out the audience. When this battle was over, Matthias would probably have to fight. Once he one, she'd have to apologize. Again. She sighed inwardly, if a cat can sigh. Then an interesting sight caught her eyes. She noticed a werecat standing next to a short person with spiky dark hair. Faintly interested, she walked casually through the crowds until she joined them. Without giving the short half-elf a glance, she began again the meticulous cleaning of her paws, pretending the other two didn't exist, and that she was there SPECIFICALLY to clean the imaginary dust from her paws.

OOC: lol, that's three werecats in this thread now. Jeriah continued, watching the skies every now and then for the orange blur that would tell her she was about to escape. Finally, it came. Oranthor landed inside the arena heavily and Jeriah lept upon his back in an instant, making sure she did not sit on Jahag. She glanced down at the elf she had been sent to fight. "Do you want to come with us?" she asked him. ~~~~~ Purfell responded to Hiei's cryptic statement with a soft growl of agreement. He could tell the girl wasn't intending on an actual fight. He was not surprised when he saw the dragon land in the arena. Only a Rider would be foolish enough to intend to fight an elf, he commented to the short half-elf next to him. Then he noticed another werecat nearby. A pur rose in his throat when he saw her, though he pretended to pay no notice to her.

Jaret lay down, seemingly ignoring Purfell's purr. She transferred her cleaning to her other paw, keeping an ear strained to hear anything of Matthias entering the ring. Good thing they don't know he's a dwarf, she thought with a purr.
She paused to look up at Hiei and mew. You would think that one as yourself would fight, she told him. But then again, I don't understand people of any race. Except Mattias, she added as an after thought.
Then she looked at Purfell and stood. She stretched, extending sharp claws. Then she purred and rubbed her back briefly against the other werecat. She sat and looked in the opposite direction, as if interested in a bird that just flew overhead. My name is Jerat, she told him.

Purfell watched Jerat come closer to her, his pur growing a little louder. I am Purfell, he told her, wrapping his tail around his paws, and I am please to meet you, Jerat. His black whiskers twitched slightly, but he continued to stare toward the arena, showing very little other interest in the female werecat nearby.

Fayr watched as the orange dragon landed in the arena and thought an Empire Rider was going to attack. He laughed as his fears were dismissed as Jeriah got u on the dragon. When she asked for him to join he gladly shook his head but frowned when he thought of something."Jeriah could you do me a favor? Is there a spell you could do that will give me my weapons and ring?" **************************************************************************** occ:I'm going to infer Purfell knows Hiei because otherwise he would be rude, mean and threatening him as soon as they talked. Hiei nodded at Purfell's statement and he pondered if he should attack since he could make some good money for a rider but tossed it away since he had all the money he could need. When another werecat showed up he couldn't help but roll his eyes. He thought they were supposed to be rare yet he has seen three in one day, but one he already knew. "Jerat if it was any of your businesses you would already know why I'm not fighting." Hiei only fought in this arena when the assassin business got a little slow and right now he was in high demand for his skill and power. Hiei watched as Purfell seemed to take an interest in Jerat and wondered if this could lead to anything.

Who said it was my business? Jerat said, glaring up at Hiei with narrowed purple eyes. I merely asked you a question. It was your decision to answer it.
******** OOC: Enter the Dwarf! lol
Matthias growled at the two men who menaced him with spears as he was lead to the inward ring of the arena to finish waiting for his turn. He scanned the crowds with his hawk-like eyes. "Where is that blasted cat?" he grumbled into his beard in dwarvish. Then he saw her, lay as relaxed as you please next to another cat and a short spiky-haired person who looked battle-hardened.
He scanned the rest of the crowd, his eyes resting on a few people, who watched the rider on dragon and her opponent in the middle of the arena. People throughout the crowd murmured and some yelled at the guards and each other.
Smirking at human foolishness, he turned again to look at Jerat. "Come on, look this way."
Two purple eyes then turned to him and regarded him coolly. He glared at them until Jerat went back to licking her paws. Blast that cat! At least SHE isn't captured.

OOC: sure, they can know each other. lol. And what do you want Jeriah to do? Make his ring and sword suddenly appear? That's what I'll try to do. lol
Jeriah relaxed in the saddle a bit, but stiffened when she saw the doors on the other side of the arena burst open and Kyrron come charging in toward her. She nodded to Fayr quickly, then said a spell that made the ring and sword appear on the ground next to him. Without waiting another second, Oranthor lept into the sky. Below, Jeriah heard Kyrron cursing her. She sighed. Why can't he just leave us alone? she asked her companions. We were probably the first mission he failed, Oranthor stated. Jahag, with incredible balance, walked to Jeriah's lap and settled in. Then the white werecat fixed his eyes on something down below. Jeriah could see nothing of importance, but he saw two other werecats down there. He stared down at them until they were out of sight, so unused to seeing his kin as he was. ~~~~~ Kyrron yanked out a dagger as he approached the orange dragon, planning to leap in the beast's back and grab Jeriah. But before he could do so, the dragon took off, carrying his prize away. Angered, he threw his dagger in their direction, screaming out curses. As the orange dragon disappeared in the sky, he felt his hatred for this girl grow. He would get her, someday. No matter what, he would get Jeriah. ~~~~~ Purfell closed his eyes in annoyance at Jerat and Hiei's bickering. Pay him no heed, fair lady, he told Jerat, then watched at a dwarf got thrown into the arena next.

Jerat yawned her consent and went back to watching Matthias. So what brings you here? she asked Purfell, ignoring Hiei.
*****
Matthias was released from his chains and thrust into the middle of the arena with his axe. Growling, he reached into a pocket and screwed in the bolts for the knuckles on his left hand, all the while watching Fayr closely. Then he took up his axe in both of his hands and took a ready stance. The faster I win, the faster I leave. Great gods above, aid me to victory in this gutless battle.

Purfell watched as the dwarf prepared for the fight, showing no interest in anything at all. I came to watch the fights, he said. He moved from a sitting postion to laying, tucking his front paws beneath himself. I shall probably leave the city soon. I'm not sure where I will go next, though. Either Gil'ead or Aberon.

Fascinating. Jerat purred.

Mattias stood still as stone, waiting for his opponent to move.

occ: I had a plan of him jumping on Oranthor's tail but I hope I can work his escape into this.lol.
Fayr waved a good bye to his new friend, or so he hoped, and grinned with delight as he found all his weapons. He put both short swords and his two swords in their respective sheathes openly and thoroughly not paying any heed to his new opponent. Then he placed his ring in the necklace around his neck. The wing a dark and clouded rolling with energy."Draumr Kopa," he whispered as his ring swirled and a picture of the area outside him came into view.Fayr smiled As he put the daggers in secret spots in his body he stood and faced the dwarf who wasn't moving."Well if you'll be that way than fine," Fayr yelled at the dwarf and collapsed on the floor and gazed up at the clouds. ************************************************************************** Hiei glared at the two werecats and entertained the thought of both of his Katanas ripping through their bodies. He tossed the idea out since Purfell was a good informant even if he was annoying and he seemed to like Jerat. So he satisfied himself with pulling a wicked dagger from his boots and after admiring the blade he picked his nails. They out to know they were walking on the fine edge of a blade with the way their acting.

Matthias raised an eyebrow at his opponent's move. "Thy wish to die?" he asked his opponent. "Gladly would I raise mine axe to your neck, but I can never face an opponent who wishes not to fight," he said, lowering his axe a margin.

Fayr smiled at the sky and laughed."Good dwarf I have no wish to die or I would've allowed those other fool fighters take my life, but as your kind loving beauty don't you think the sky looks wondrous now. Why waste this moment in blood when we could relax,"Fayr watched out of the corner of his eyes and saw that above them the guards were getting anxious but still thought this was all part of another show by Fayr.

Matthias lowered his axe a little more and, without looking at the sky, edged closer to Fayr. "Wouldst thou like to escape this trap?" he said, hefting his axe.
*********
Jerat noticed Matthias' calm stance and purred. This may get rather interesting, she commented to Hiei and Purfell.
