The flap of wings was heard as a figure approached. in the sky. A black dragon came into Andril's veiw. Why wasn't she afraid? This was a dragon after all. The beast landed. Hello, little one. I have missed you. it said. Who are you? asked Andril. It pains me that you do not remember, but I am Vanidor. You are my rider. Andril blinked in surprise. Come, I will give you back your memories. Vanidor touched his snout to Andril's forehead. A flood of memories entered her mind, even those from before Vanidor was born. When the contact broke, Andril knew there was a fight to be had and she was going to have it. shall we continue our duty, friend of my heart? asked Andril Yes, we shall kill those who are evil. replied Vanidor. Then lets go. Where? To the Varden silly. Where else? Vanidor took off in the direction of Surda.
They entered the Hadarac Desert within two days.

OOC: who to use, who to use? Morzan's daughter, ex-empire servant, ancient Rider, or one-armed warrior princess? lol, so may choices. No more farmgirl, though. She got married and left. lol.
Tenel Ka sat on a large sand dune with Caedus, staring out at the vast, sandy waste before them. It's so different from home, the Rider said. There were no deserts in her country, only lush green land as far as the eye could see. I know, Princess, Caedus told her, But don't worry. Home will still be there when we get back. Tenel Ka smiled when he called her Princess. "Just make sure you don't call me that when others can hear," she told him, standing, "I would still rather people not know." She climbed into the saddle on his back with carefully practiced skill and ease, despite her missing arm. Then she noticed a dragon flying toward them, a bit larger than Caedus and as black as coal. I wonder who this is, Caedus said, taking flight to meet them.

Andril was awakened from the daze that sufficed for sleep. A dragon approaches. Vanidor informed her. Andril immeadietly drew Draumr. Calm down, I sense they're only curious. he assured her. She didn't sheath Draumr. Andril hailed the approaching pair.
(O.O.C.- I'll continue this story on the Hadarac Desert section. Post there pleez.)

(O.O.C.- This is Senor's story)
After taking off from Uru'baen, Shanith easily found Andril's tacks. The footprints reeled around, as if a drunken man had been there. Within a couple of hours, the prints led the imperial rider to an old burnt out town. They went down one of the main roads, to a house. The smell of rot and decay crept out the windows. The door hung ajar. Inside were the remains of a Rider who Senor could identify as Dnichor. More of a bounty hunter really. A little ways off was the carcass of his dragon. It was disgustingly decayed. The girl's footsteps traced back through the town to a scorched area. She had sat down here for about half an hour. A dragon had landed after that period of time. It was obviously Vanidor, for she had climbed onto his back. From the direction he was facing at takeoff, they were headed into the Hadarac, and in turn to Surda. The Varden. Senor thought. How like them. We shouldn't stay here. said Shanith. I wasn't planning on it. He climbed back onto the amber dragon, and she took off. Within two days they reached the Hadarac.
(O.O.C.- This would be about a half a day or a full day after Andril showed up)
