Davin felt Thade's sharp, white claws dig into his shoulder. Oww! Not so hard, dragon! Thade let loose a series of squeaks and chirps, flicking her forked tongue at Davin's ear. Davin laughed and brought his hand up to his shoulder, patting her soft, fuzzy head. As they walked through the palace of the Surdan king, his mind wandered. My life is at a stand still, little one. I need someone.

Hiendall was walking down the halls to just think when a presence before him disrupted him.

Davin suddenly stopped, almost sliding into a tall, lanky Elf with long, black hair. "Uh, hello." Davin let out a cheerful greeting and smiled, noticing a hard, stern look about the man. "I'm Davin" He stuck out his hand, almost sending Thade to the floor. She let loose another series of chirps and squeaks, but they sounded angry. Davin hid smile. Sorry, little one. It slipped.

Hiendall smiled when the little dragon became angry because of the mistake in the rider's movement. He grasped the boys hand and shook,"I'm called Hiendall, and nice to meet you Davin."

Davin nodded at him, moving to pass him. "Well, I'll see you around." Thade chirped at him and then crawled on Davin's head, turned around, and laid down. Continuing down the corridor, he whistled softly to himself, soon walking outside into the streets of Abernon. The loud noise of people pressed into his mind, hearing thoughts and voices from miles away. He looked to his left and saw a woman talking to a man. Her thoughts floated over to him. I wonder if he notices my dress. Wow! Look at that bug! It's so beautiful! Look at that man. Why is he staring at me? Davin diverted his gaze, continuing to walk down the street. Thade quickly got up and jumped from his head to his shoulder, running down his arm and into his shirt, peering over the collar. What's wrong? He looked around, then saw an older woman looking at him and Thade. Davin looked away, and walked faster, ducking into a shop.

Heindall nodded his head at the boy when he left and continued on his way to the other end to leave. He hear Crym telling him she'll be flying above watching so if he wanted a ride she was ready. He smiled at the thought but told her to hunt and socialize. He broke out to the open and smiled at the sun hitting him. He smiled at some nearby people who shrunk away from him.

Davin's anxiety coursed through both his and Thade's mind, screaming in agony wanting to know what would happen next. Davin picked up a trinket, acting as if he was actually interested, then glanced around the shop, his eyes landing on the same woman that had scared Thade. Who do you think that is?And what does she want with us? Biting his lip, Davin ducked back out of the shop, looking for another place to hide.

Larrant and Lekki walked through the streets, trying to ignore the various versions, "Hail, rider" and "Good day argetlam". Lekki sniffed the air. I can feel much fear in someone. He is being watched. Wait... I also sense a child. A dragon child. Larrant extended his mind. I found them. They may be in danger. Let's go. The pair walked quickly towards the stranger.

Jeriah walked through Aberon, Jahag beside her. Oranthor was flying a ways away, though his mind was still with her. She was about to walked past a shop when the werecat stopped. "What is it, Jahag?" she asked. For a moment, he said nothing, but stared at a man in there. I smell danger, he told her, and walked into the shop. Jeriah followed.
