Kaylayn was walking casually towards the Varden encampment. His long hair completely covering his face as the patrol ran up to him. They stared and made remarks at his expense at his lack of shirt and his markings. He looked up and smiled. They all shivered under his creepy grin."I'm sorry boys but your time is up." They started to understand what was happening but it was to late he pulled out his sword and cut them down.He kept on walking and entered the edge of the camp heading to Nasuada. He drew many looks and started many conversations. He also noticed they made a path in front of him out of a fear they didn't understand just like people in the Empire. As he neared the large tent that belonged to Nasuada he noticed the guard blocking the opening. He shrugged and got ready for the huge mess about to come. He walked towards the opening and the guards ordered him to stop. He kept on going. They charged forward with weapons out. With a couple of words his hands crackled with electricity and he killed them all brutally blasting through their armor and body.He strode into the tent and announced his presents with a smile and a laugh,"So how goes it Nasuada the weather seems to be in your favor. I must say it was raining in Ura'baen last time I was their."The guards charged forward and he ducked, dodged, jumped, and twisted out of their way laughing at their expense.

Nasuada stood behind her desk, listening to the shouts and screams from outside. Who was wreaking such havoc? She tensed when the guard outside her pavilion died with a choked scream. Then a wild looking man stepped into the tent, a crazy smile upon his lips. Her nighthawks lunged forward, but no use. They died as well. Suddenly afraid, but not letting it show, Nasuada placed a hand on the hilt of the dagger at her sie and drew the weapon. "Stay back, vile elf," She threatened while raising strong mind barriers. ~~~~
Eridor twisted and swerved through the air, flying as fast as he could to reach Nasuada. Elaine hunched close to his back, her face resting on his smooth neck scales. In a few seconds, the encampment was in sight. Eridor dove down, then landed upon the earth before the pavilion, causing the ground to shutter with his powerful impact. Leaping off Eridor's back, Elaine drew her long sword and rushed into the tent. Wasting no time, she thrust her blade towards the tall, white haired man's back.

The rider's blade met Kaylayn's barrier and was easily deflected."Now now why must we play rough?Nasuada I would put that blade away it will do as much as this meaningless rider's attack. Also those barriers you put up are can't be compared to the elven magic users I have killed.I would think a diplomat and one with her people's best interest in mind would want me to talk instead of killing you and all the people here."

Nasuada glared at the man, hate welling inside her. "Fine," she spat, "talk. But I'll have you know, a man like you who has threatened me and the varden so greatly deserves death. Why should I be diplomatic with such an outright killer?" Her eyes swept quickly past the man, to Elaine, who appeared furious. ~~~~~
Her blade slid by the man's back harmlessly. She concluded that he was guarded by wards, and wished not for the first time she had a riders blade. Relinquishing her assault, she let her sword arm fall to her side, waiting for Nasuada's command to resume. The elf was clearly crazy, and she figured that his insanity could be to her advantage. She just had to figure out how. Outside, Eridor's vicsious growls could be heard.

"I dare say you shouldn't you should have this rider behind me and that annoying dragon out there to call all of your riders to kill me. He sat down and motioned with his hand telling them to go on with what he said,"I'll wait."

OOC: this is after Tismri and Ismrolde appear. Trinn, I made a thread for their coming. It's called "Arrival." Tismri approached softly from behind everyone. She stared at the elf with a calm expression. "So, Kaylayn, I see you've survived the years. Time does not seem to have changed you any, except making you wilder." She slipped around Elaine and faced the elf, her eyes incrutable.

Kaylayn hoped into the air propelled by his legs."My dear friend I feared you left this land for another. How I missed you."He walked over to give her a huge hug.

"Ah, I see you have forgiven me for helping catch you before I left. I have no idea how you escaped, though I do not doubt it had something to do with the uprising evil that took place while I was away." She let him approach her, but jumped aside once he reached her. "And how could I possibly stay away when there's so much work to be done here?"

"Trapping me was all a part of the plan my dear and actually I killed the people you left me with they were a little surprised with what I could do," he laughed all the more when she jumped away."Oh the work is almost finished and I'm here to show them how to complete it."

Tismri shook her head as he continued to talk. He was every bit as crazy as when she had last seen him. "Watch your tounge, Kaylayn, or I may begin to think you're still attracted to me after two hundred years. Remember, I am nearly a century older than you and have much experience." Her eyes narrowed as she heard his last phrase. "And what work would this be, O mighty and insane elf?"

"Of course I'm still attracted your as feisty and good looking as ever,"he replied.Kaylayn's face grew dark," I have a request."

"And dare I ask what this request is?" Tismri asked. It was most likely something that would hurt the people, which was one of the reasons why she had been one of the ones to catch him. She didn't think he was safe and decided he needed to be placed in a secure area...though it aparently wasn't secure enough. There was no way she would ever trust him.

"As you all should now I joined Galby because he won and their was no other choice. I was stronger than him then and I am a match for him now.He made a deal with me when we joined together that he would never hold me back with oaths or anything. He broke that pact a while ago.He teamed up with some people and chained my mind. I now can't do the things I should be able to do.I can still do tremendous things but thats not what I want.If you brake his spell I promise not to destroy Ellesmera like he is planning for me to do."

Tismri listened to his words. Ismrolde had since landed outside the tent. Her head was too large to even fit through the opening, but she heard every word. I don't trust him, Ismrolde said, a growl radiating from her. Neither do I, but he still deserves to be listened to. I at the very least owe him that. She looked at Kaylayn. "And what would you do after you were freed from this spell?" she asked him, a hint of steel creeping into her voice, "For, unrestrained, you could wreak even more destruction than even Galbatorix could."

"We all know that and I don't expect you to trust me but I swear I will at least not harm the elves in Ellesmera when the time to strike comes and I wont destroy the Varden...now."I have only come because of this please help me."
