Tia crouched down quickly hiding from the giant black cat in her way. She had heard of the giant panthers of the spine, but had never seen one before. She hoped that her time spent with the Shrggs would guard her scent.

A whistle pierced the air and the panther turned around and loped away. A man wearing a strange mask reached a hand out to Tia. "You there do you need a hand? I am so sorry about my companion, he gets so bored up here by himself all the time," the man said in a kind voice. "I rarely see someone of your age come here of all places young elf," the man spoke in an accent that came from speaking the ancient language for most of one's lifetime.

But... something has changed in you there is something different about you now," he said. "However since I seem to know a lot about you and you nothing of me perhaps I'll start off with my name. I am Jaygon the Islingr and I am pleased that my mask and hood don't scare you," he chuckled.

"I'm following you, keeping you safe. Quite recently someone of considerable wisdom told me about a elf child who was raised in Beor Mountains amidst the Shrrgs. The person said that this child would be destined for greatness. So I have been watching you for the last few months and I had my doubts until now. Just today something changed it seemed as if the world shifted you are going to be more than just any ordinary elf. But any more than that I can't say," Jaygon said almost feeling foolish at what he had just revealed.

Gidion noticed her look and the sound and a mental link that only one kind of person can have "shes a rider he said." This he said to the young elf "you might whant to learn to protect your thoughts what if we where imperial magicians or the Black hand or worse an imperial riders?" he said with concern her dragon is still a hatchling just over there he said ponting toward where the sound came from. Shall I go have a look?

Tia froze. "How...?" She crouched down and reached for the double swords at her back. "Don't you go near Nula!" Her eyes flicked between the two men.

I was the the one who stopped them and saved you. We will not harm you I promise," Jaygon said and move forward just a bit. "I promise," he repeated.

"I am sorry to frighten you" gidion said." He reached his hand out would you like some help" he said with a smile. she could not have been much older than him and she was quite beautiful gidions hair slid over his one eye "well are you going to take my hand or not" he said jokingly.

She stared at it wariy, but after deliberating Tia took the hand offered to her.
"Okay..." Now that she properly looked at his face, she realized that she did recognise the other. "Sorry, I get over protective. Come closer Nula."
