Vivian was on the back of Kane when Du Weldenvarden came into view. It was dusk and there were wispy clouds in the sky, not enough to produce even a drop of rain. She smiled and then said to Kane, We are almost home. She felt his sides start to vibrate in response and then his Strong voice echoed in her head, That we are, young one, that we are. Vivian could tell that he was just as happy as she was to be home. She felt Kane tilt his wings a bit and the started to descend towards the ground. They were still a good day from the forest so they decided to make camp and travel the rest tomorrow.
Kane curled up and watched as Vivian made a fire and cooked some food. He smelled that air and could smell nothing unusual near by. He then laid his head down and waited for Vivian to eat. When she was done he lifted his wing so she could curl up under it. Good night, young one. He laid his head down and fell into a light sleep while Vivian curled up and replied Sleep well. she felt Kane's sides vibrate as she slipped into her waking dreams.

Gidion was flying toward Du Weldenvarden it was starting to get dark. Then he spotted a fire farther out all most in line with the horizon it would be dark when he reached it. Basil take us to that camp he said to his bond." " Ok he said as his stomach started to growl." Yes then you can hunt for a nice large deer to consume." It took at least 1 and a half hours to get there. As basil circled the camp he noticed a dragon and what looked to be a women. "Basil take us down slowly he said." when they touched down abot 200yds away from the camp behind a ridge. He pulled the hood of his cloak up over his head and walked toward the camp. Then when close enough he yelled state your side empire or varden. then he waited for a response.

Kane woke suddenly in the middle of the night. He let his mind drift towards Vivian's and found that she was awake too. they both laid motion less for a while waiting to hear something. Finally Kane heard the wings of another dragon nearby as it landed and then heard someone approach and yell 'state your side empire or Varden.'
Kane whipped his head around to look at the figure and blew a jet of flame in its direction missing on purpose. Meanwhile Vivian jumped up and grabbed her bow and pointed it at the stranger saying "Varden. You?" She waited for a reply but held her bow steady.

I would suggest you put that bow down before you hurt your self I am a varden rider gidions my name my dragon is Basilgarrad he said while walking toward the dragon and rider. Then he contacts basil and said it alright there friendly come on over. As basil took flight toward the camp gidion said so may I ask who you and your magnificent dragon are. Basil landed and said to gidion Im going to get us somthing to eat and took off. Don't go to far gidion replied

Vivian lowered her bow "Before I hurt Myself?" She was insulted and Kane whipped his head towards the rider while smoke escaped from his maw. He then said You will be the one hurt young rider. His sides vibrated as he waited for a reply. Vivian heard a dragon approaching and looked to see Basilgarrad approaching from the sky. Nice to meet you Gidion and you Basilgarrad I am Vivian and thia is my Dragon Kane.

Kane dipped his head and let some more smoke escape his nostrils. He waited while Vivian replied to the young rider.
"No thank you. Kane already hunted and we already ate. we have some left overs if you would like some." She pointed to the pot that was still over the glowing embers. "As for what we are doing so close to Du WeldenVarden. We are on our way home to meet with my mother and sister. we have been gone for quite some time and wish to visit for a while. What are you doing so close to Du WeldenVarden?"
Kane stretched his wings at that moment and listened to the near by sounds thinking he could hear flapping wings. We need to go to bed. We still have quite a bit to travel till we are home.
Vivian nodded her head and then told Gidion that they should get some sleep for they had a bit to travel still.

Good night he said to Vivian with a bow he turned and walked to the other side of the hill to give them some privacy. Then he heard the flapping of wings and thought basil was back. When he landed gidion light a fire and made a nice hardy stew with the meat, potatoes, carrots, some spices, and herbs. When finished eating he layed his head down on basil's warm stomac and thought of the elf "she is quite beautiful he said to him self and humorous" he fell asleep thinking of the woman will talk somemore in the morning.

Vivian dipped her head to Gidion and turned to Kane as he laid down and held his wing up till she was laying comfortably under it. Kane lowered his wing and watched as Gidion walked away towards his own camp. Kane then let out a breath of hot air and laid his head down to sleep till morning.
Vivian exchanged thought with Kane till he was asleep and then she let her mind wander towards Gidion and drifted into her waking dreams.
At the sign of first Light Vivian was already awake and packing up camp when Kane woke with a start. She walked over to him so she didnt spook him and comforted him.

when morning came gidion packed up the littel he had pulled out last night and had a brakefast of the left over stew whem basil woke he said should we go talke with the other rider "its up to you it would be nice to meet them" so he and gidion went to there camp it was packed up but they where still there "hello gidion said nice morning is it not"
