Taran was worried about how Narth had said 'maybe.' 'What could he have meant? I know we're leaving tomorrow, at least most likely. NO! Now I'm saying only maybe! Why? Is it this young rider? She is rather nice, possibly too nice. I can't help but feel suspicious of people, especially after...now why am I talking to myself?' Taran laughed at himself, as he lay down into bed. "OW!" He pulled a sharp, colored rock from behind the pillow. "What on earth is this thing doing in here? AH!" He angrily threw the piece out the window, then pulled the sheets to warm himself into sleep.

Nerasa was down stairs thinking about all the times people have come to her for help but most people could never understand that she was just trying to save them the trouble of having to sleep outside. She had seen to many people to realise that they deserve better.
"Marflamel I think that when they are ready to leave tomorrow we should make sure that they are traveling safely up in the sky. You never know who could be in this forest now days." said Nerefon.
"Yeah I agree." said Marflamel sleepely.

The mist slowly filled the clearing with a hazy glow, casting the surrounding trees in an eerie fog. Taran stood in the middle, surrounded by dozens of dark figures, all robbed in hooded cloaks. In unison, the figures drew their swords, closing the gap between them and Taran. He likewise drew his ancient sword, which he noticed was colored teal, not the normal steel silver, and charged the closest man. In a flurry of strokes, the hooded figure crashed to the ground dead, then vanished. Taran moved through his attackers as quickly as he could, but with every one killed, another took his place. "What is this madness?" he thought. "What sort of demonic place would torment a man so?" He continued to hack his was through the men, though he grew weary. After some hours, even his elfin strength failed him and he could no longer move the blade to defend himself. As the closest figure was lifting his blade to end him, a great teal dragon dropped from the sky, smuthering all around him. With a harsh roar, the dragon advanced upon the remaining figures, and they were not reborn. When the last man fell to the ground, the dragon cleansed his claws on the moist grasses, blowing flame to cleanse his mouth. With grace not thought possible with a creature so large, the dragon walked to stand above Taran, his deep green eyes matching Taran's own eyes. "Welcome, friend. I have been waiting for you..." Taran woke with a start, the sun not yet ready to rise over the eastern horizon.

Nerasa was out in the front yard an hour before the sun broke the darkness and she held her blood red sword in a fighting position ready to strike. She took a deep breath and started going through a flury of movements at top speed that she knew elves had and she pushed herself to go faster and faster. She had to work out like this everyday to keep her strength and to keep herself ready and willing to fight and fast too.
Two hours later Nerasa was tired but still going at the fast pace before and she decided to stop and go bathe. then eat something she had been working to hard again and she needed the break.

Taran jumped from bed, startled by the vived dream. He could hear the screams, feel the warm blood on his hands, smell the putrid sent of death and decay. He stood on the balcony, trying to make those sensations leave his mind. He looked down below to see Nerasa practicing with the sword, going through dozens of combinations and cycles. Taran felt at ease watching the rising sun, taking in its warmth after a long cool night. Nerasa left the grass and went somewhere Taran could not see, so he changed his focus to the large red dragon near Narth. They seemed to be conversing. 'Narth?' Taran tried to speak to his faithful friend, but there was no answer. He resigned himself to washing in the low tub off the bedroom until he felt hungry.

Nerasa was clean and was now making a good meal to eat not just for herself but for her visitor. Nerasa had made some vegitable stew and brought some fresh fruit to the table with two bowls and two plates. Nersa was wearing a white peasent top and of course black breeches.
"Marflamel what are you talking about?" asked nerasa.
"stuff." said marflamel.
"Stuff?" asked Nerasa.
"yes stuff." said Marflamel who cut off the connection.

Taran dressed in his leather cuirass and breaches, very simple clothing with many practical applications. He packed his belongings back into his riding bag, slinging it lightly over his shoulder. He tried to contact Narth again, but still no answer. 'What could he possibly be doing?' he thought, then continued down the stairs.

Nerasa streached and quickly made tea. She had missed it terribly but it was a good kind a sweet like honey. She had made her own tea and to her this was her best and far most favorite kind of tea that she had ever made.
"Marflamel did you go hunting alread? The reason why is because you have been talking about something for a while and I am just worried about you." Nerasa said.
"No and I won't till later in the day. I will be fine." He said

Taran emerged from the stairs to a welcoming aroma of hot tea, with a slight sent of honey. 'She has good taste,' he thought. He walked quietly into the kitchen, as one does in another's house in the morning. He saw Nerasa stretching out, drinking some steaming tea. He took a few steps into the wide room before speaking. "Good morning, Nerasa. Thank you again for letting me stay here."

"Your welcome. Its the least I could do. Why don't you come and have some breakfast and then maybe if you want to go you may." said Nerasa drinking some tea.
"You may have some tea as well if you want to. I make my own tea so if you want to take some dry tea leaves that have this smell of honey and flavor of honey you may. I have many of these in jars." she continued.

"I will, thank you. Tea always seems to be the right way to start the day." Taran carefully prepared his tea, trying to contact Narth the whole while. He face betrayed his worries as he sat to drink his tea across from Nerasa.

"You seem troubled. Do you want to talk about it? I mean if you don't want to thats fine but you do seem like you are troubled with something." she said.
Nerasa continued sipping her tea and looked at him over her cup.

Taran looked at the beautiful woman across the table from him. She was a rider, and surprisingly a nice person, but was still unsure of what to think of her, whether to like her or hate her for reasons not her own. 'Just talk to her. Let her know that you are a person,' said Narth suddenly, catching Taran off guard. 'Narth! Why haven't you talked to me? You've been worrying me, you know.' 'I know, and I'm sorry. But you will find out why later. For now, focus on our new friend.' Taran nodded, shaking the thoughts of leaving right then and there from his head. "Well, I was worrying about Narth, my horse. I hadn't spoken to him since last night, and that was a strange conversation. But last night, in my dreams, I saw...a nightmare really." He continued to describe his dream, bringing every detail and sensation to life. As he finished, he waited for Nerasa to reply, studying her face for any sign of what she thought.

"Hmm. That is very interesting. I have never heard of anyone having a dream like that for all my 190 years of living. Its posible that you just had some sort of vision that will come and that the dragon you saw was your dragon. If it wasn't then it wouldn't have protected you like that for it would have attacked you." said nerasa carefully.
"Its a possbility that your dream was trying to tell you something though it may or may not come soon or it will. I am not sure." she continued.

Taran felt even more worried. 'You hear that Narth?' 'Yes, I did. There is no wrong in listening to her.' Taran nodded. "You may be right. But I still worry. If it is a vision, and it will come to pass, then how can I be prepared? And another thing, the dragon was full grown, about the size of your dragon. And the sword was the same as the one I have now, only a different color. Is it possible for a wild dragon to be bonded with you? Having hatched before ever meeting you?"
