Elyria looked at him in disbelief for a moment. Then laughing, she picked up a handful of mud and walked behind Taran, dropping the mud down the back of his britches. She gave him a little slap on the rear. And busted out laughing again. The dragons looked at them as if they had lost their minds.

Taran could not believe what she had done. He looked at her, the disbelief clearly written on his face. "Eli, I think you should knock her out again," he said with a laugh.

Elyria looked at him then at Eli. "Eli don't you dare!" Laughing she walked to the stream and began to clean up.

Taran laughed, walking to a different part of the stream, taking an extra pair of clothes with him. He washed himself in the stream, trying as hard as he could to get the mud off him. After a few long minutes, he succeeded, and walked back to the camp, wet, muddy clothes in hand.

Elianora blinked at Taran in disbelief as the mud dripped down her face. "How could they be so childish?" she asked Soranai as Elyria and Taran went to wash up. Soranai squealed and flew up to a tree, rustling her wings to get the mud off. She sent Elyria and Taran angry messages and settled down on the branch in prim style.
Using magic, cleaned the mud from herself and picked up her bedroll, leaving Elyria and Taran to clean up the stew. She replaced it several meters from camp and lit her twig jar for light. Soranai followed her and nestled down for the night. Eli put a few protective wards around the two to prevent anyone or anything from approaching them.

Elyria took off her clothes, leaving her in her undershirt and long white leggings. She rinsed her clothes out in the stream and returned to camp. She hung the clothes to dry and cleaned up the stew. She looked at Taran and just smiled at the exploits of the evening, laughing softly.
"That was fun. I haven't had a mud fight since I was a little girl in Ceunon."

Taran smiled back. "I don't think I've had one for over a century!" he said, overjoyed.

Elyria laughed as the moon shone in her eyes. She turned to look upon it. It had always called to her in the night but she could not understand why it affected her the way it did. Shaking the feeling off, she moved to lie on her bedroll. "Taran who is this woman, the one Elianora spoke of to you on the trail?"

Taran had nearly forgotten Elianora's words, but Elyria's brought them back to his mind. He sat down, his eyes absent. "I'm not sure," he said, playing with the dirt with his fingers. "Someone that will be special to me, that I know. I have seen her before, in my dreams, and know that we will meet one day, though I do not know when." He sighed, bringing his eyes back to this world to look at Elyria. "I...feel different when I see her, but I never see her face. I only see her back, or her hair, nothing more."

Elyria could see that he already had love in his eyes for a woman he had never met. "I am sure you will find her soon Taran." Her eyes drifted away from his as she wondered if she would feel like that someday for someone. His love for this mystery woman was endearing.

Taran could sense her queries, her longing. "You will," he said to her. "Someday, you will."

She smiled at him softly. "I really do hope you find her soon!" She lay upon her bedroll and looked up at the stars, trying to see the man who would steal her heart someday.

Taran smiled as he lay on his bedroll, looking up at the stars. He closed his eyes, seeing the woman in his dreams as sleep took him.
