Tismri stood next to Ismrolde, stunned at everything Islanzadi had just told her. Everything about the world she had known was gone. She looked the huge copper dragon in the eye. Nearly five hundred years we faced trials of many different kinds, but none of them could ever have prepared me for this. She looked back at the elven queen and, touching her fingers to her lips, turned and left the hall with Ismrolde at her side. We must go before these Varden soon, Imsrolde told her as she mounted. Aye, my friend, but I would like to stay here a while longer. This is probably the most normalcy we shall see for a long time, and I am reluctant to leave. Ismrolde lept into the sky, battering the trees with the force of her wings. Tismri finally allowed the tears to fall down her face and she sang a mournful song in the ancient language, remembering the world as it was when the Riders kept the peace.

Elyria smiled back at Cadyren. "Yes my new friend I understand, however...looks can be deceiving. The most beautiful thing in the world can be a vessel for the greatest evil ever known. I learned early on not to judge based on looks." She smiled again as she sat back down and took a sip from her drink.

"Aye, beautiful things can be evil. Take th Riders Swords. Beautiful things, yet the Forsworn and Galbatorix used them to kill the other Riders." He said.
"I would love to have one of my own, the swords are very powerful. Unfortunetly, Rhunon has vowed to never make another. I never understood how she could make them. When I forged my sword I enchanted the metal as much as I could. My sword is not as easy to break as human blades but it is far from as good as the Riders blades." he added.
Cadyren took out his real sword, he had put it on Asailas sattle but had taken it off when she had landed. He had enchanted the metal to take on a silver color and it shined as it reflected off the sun. The hilt was silver as well and had many carvings on it, none that would make it feel odd but enough so that it looked more like a piece of art then a weapon. It was a hand and a half so that it could be used with or wiithout a shield and upon its blade, written in the ancient language was, I am Elfsteel, may my enemies fear my blinding speed..
"You could mistake it for a Riders blade though. Here, why don't give it a try." he said holding out the hilt towards Elyria.

Elyria took the sword within her hand as she rose. She moved away from the table as she felt its weight within her hand. He was truly a master craftsman whether he believed it or not. The sword had a perfect balance and size. She held it out, inspecting the blade. Her hand ran along its edge. She smiled as she twirled it within her hand. It was light as she moved with it. Its beauty was striking as the sun shone against the silver metal of the blade.
Elyria held it out to Cadyren hilt first. “It is a fine blade Cadyren. You are truly a master craftsman fine enough to rival any in Ellesmeara.” As she spoke she saw Aethelwyne and Taran with Edan and Mica playing under a large willow tree. The smile came over her face as she watched them. “My sister and her family.” She said motioning to the group. Aethelwyne and Taran sat with the babies, supporting them with a hand to their backs. They were not yet old enough to sit without aid. She felt their happiness drifting through the air as she watched them laughing and looking at each other. Their love shone in their actions and the looks that they gave each other. “I would give my life to protect that love they share.” She said absently, forgetting for a moment where she was.
She watched them for a moment longer then realizing that she had become lost in her thoughts returned her attention to Cadyren. “I’m sorry. What were we talking about?” She looked at him returning her full attention to her new friend. Her long white hair flowed freely behind her in the soft breeze as her deep green eyes focused intently on him.

Cadyren watched as Elyria tested his sword. He could tell she liked it by the look on her face.He swelled with pride when she complimented his work.
"If you want, I could make you a similar sword." he said, but Elyria wasn't paying him any attention. She was looking at four people under a willow tree. Hewas about toask whothey were when shesaid it was her sister and her family. After a moment she turned back to him,"I’m sorry. What were we talking about?”
Guessing Elyria didn't feel like talking to her sister right now, Cadyren said,"I was telling youI could make you a sword like mine. If you do then just tell how would you want it to be made."

Elyria smiled as he offered his services to make her a sword. "You know Cadyren. I have a sword but I do have need of two short swords. There are times, in a close fight or with more than one enemy, when short swords would serve me extremely well. I have never found one whose skills I trusted to craft the blades. Do you think you could do it for me?" She waited anxiously to hear his answer. "I would be happy to help in any way I could but I do not know much about metal work."

Cadyren nodded,"Two short swords eh? Would you want anything special on them?" he asked,"The Forge isn't to far from here. You could tell me on the way. It will take me awhile to make them so I need to get started as soon as possible"
Cadyren turned and began to walk towards the direction of the Forge, thinking of spells and wards that he would put into the metal while making it.

Elyria walked with Cadyren. She thought as they walked. The smile crossed her lips. "Would you design them for me? It would be my honor if you would." Her eyes watched him as they walked.

"Alright. I'll design it myself, It will take me a few days to forge the swords." he said as they neared the Forge,"I'll givethem to you when I'm done."
Cadyren walked into the forge and began his work, singing spells thats would make the swords as much like a Riders blade as possible.

Elyria followed him into the forge. She sat quietly out of his way. She smiled softly as he sang spells and worked the metal. Her eyes watched him intently as he formed the steel to his will. She was amazed as she watched him work. Never had she seen anyone do anything like he was doing.

Three days later
Cadyren was finally done. The two swords were finished. Cadyren examined them for flaws.
He had built the first sword to be slightly larger then the other. Both hilts were made to be held in one hand and had carvings on them. He had enchanted the metal to be the same shade of green as Domia.
Satisfied with his work, Cadyren sat in a chair, all that was left was for Elyria to name the blades.
After a moment sitting in the chair Cadyren realized how tired he was, he would have fallen unconsious if Asaila hadn't been there to lend him strength.
<Thanks> he said to her.
<You should watch yourself more closely. When we finally go into battle I don't want to worry about you falling unconsious or killing yourself using a spell.> she replied.
<That's a happy thought.>

Elyria had sat with Cadyren for all three days, sleeping within the chair where she sat. When he finished she took the blades from him. “Cadyren they are fine swords.” Her eyes lit as she grasped them. She held them up into the light of the day. The sun glistened off the emerald green metal. She looked them over carefully then twirled them within her grasp. Her body moved as she worked the swords around her. She stopped, her breath even as she thought. She held the larger of the two within her right hand. Her lips formed into a smile. “Justice” she exclaimed in the ancient language. She held the smaller of the two exclaiming “Truth” to the light of day. She turned to look at Cadyren. For the first time she saw he had weakened himself in making the weapons for her.
She went and knelt beside the chair where he sat. She touched his chest over his heart with her palm. Her gedwey ignasia glowed with the brilliant emerald green of her magic as she gave him some of her strength to replenish him. She lowered her eyes to him as she inclined her head. “Thank you Argetlam. I will wield them with honor.” She looked back into his eyes. “What can I possibly give you in return for such a fine gift as these?”

“What can I possibly give you in return for such a fine gift as these?” Cadyren looked up at Elyria,"When we first met you said you hunted Galbatorix's Dragon Riders, if I recall correctly, maybe Asaila and I could tag along next time. We wish to leave this place soon, we sit here and do nothing while people die. It sickens me. We want to do something that will help."

Elyria stood as she looked into his eyes. She held the swords and admired them again then looked back to Cadyren smiling wide. "Done! I would be happy to have someone with me and Domia." Elyria quietly breathed a sigh of relief. It was getting dangerous to hunt the Empire riders alone. "Perhaps we should train together on the ground and in the air to get used to each others fighting styles? If we can anticipate the others moves we shall surely be a force to be reckoned with. What do you say?"

Cadyren listened to what Elyria said,"Perhaps we should train together on the ground and in the air to get used to each others fighting styles? If we can anticipate the others moves we shall surely be a force to be reckoned with. What do you say?"
Cadyren nodded,"Then let us get started then."
Cadyren put away the tools he had used and retrieved his sword and bow. He motioned toward the door,"I'm ready if you are."
