Taran finished the dishes, then turned to Aethelwyne, holding her in his arms. "That dress does you no justice, my love," he said, taking her hand.

Aethelwyne quietly followed where he led.

Taran led Aethelwyne to the fire, sitting down on the ground. He motioned for her to do the same, putting his arm around her. He held her close, resting his head against hers.

Aethelwyne closed her eyes as she sat next to Taran wrapped in his embrace. She could feel the heat from the fire upon her face as she thought of her love for him.

Taran let the heat from the fire and the fire in his heart warm him. Aethelwyne beside him brought him comfort and joy, and he sought for nothing else in life. "Well," he said, looking at her. "I think it is time for your punishment." He sent her images to make her blush, then picked her up. "Close your eyes," he told her, holding her in his arms.

Elianora regained consciousness after a few hours rest. She kept her eyes closed, aware of Salian's hand upon her mid-back. Her thoughts were a little hazy, and wandered many places. She wondered if and when Aethelwyne would come for her. Aethelwyne. . . . . Something about the woman had seemed vaguely familiar, though she couldn't quote place why.
She lay, thinking of the answer, and her mind traveled back to the day she'd bonded with Soranai. She had been with Ferlan -- thinking of him hurt her heart -- and another woman. . . . . Elyria. That was it. And her dragon Domia. Thinking of Elyria brought her back to Aethelwyne. With a frown, she opened her eyes, trying to connect the thoughts.
Little one? Soranai inquired, one large pale blue eye on Elianora.
Hush, Elianora said, concentrating as hard as she could. Then it clicked. Elyria and Aethelwyne look so much alike! Aethelwyne was the woman I saw in the fire vision, all that time ago! she exclaimed to Soranai. She sat up, shocked at the revelation. And the reason why Aethelwyne appeared so close to Elyria is. . . . .
They are sisters! Soranai provided, equally amazed.
But how can we be sure? Elianora countered.
We wait, we watch, we wonder.

Aethelwyne smiled at his words and the pictures he had sent her. The blush fell gently on her face as she saw the images within her mind. As he picked her up she closed her eyes, anxiously awaiting what he had planned. Her breath came to her short as her heart raced wildly. She layed her head on his shoulder and let her love flow through the bond. There was so much to say, but this was not the time. She let her feelings speak for her.

Taran grinned sheepishly, letting his feelings for Aethelwyne flow freely, blushing at a few thoughts. He stood for a minute, looking from the bed to the door. He knew what she expected him to do, but he was wondering if he should actually do that. He walked quietly, casting a spell about them so she could not tell what he would do. Moving slowly, he walked towards the door. Opening it with magic, he walked outside, the spell keeping the air the same temperature and feel as that inside the house. He walked through the light snow to the spring, standing at its edge. "Are you ready for this, love?" he asked, sending her even more promiscuous images to make her blush. Smiling, he dropped her into the hot spring and jumped in after her.

Elianora lay still, thinking, still, of Aethelwyne and Elyria. As she thought, another one entered her mind. Soranai! I believe I missed a very obvious detail!
Oh?
Taran! Aethelwyne's husband is the same Taran from before! When I met Elyria. I can' believe I didn't notice before! And now I remember what I told him then, the morning after I left Ferlan. He has found the one. I can't believe I didn't see. . . . .
She sat up, gently letting Salian's hand fall to the mattress. Soranai raised her head, rumbling gently. Elianora, we must tell Aethelwyne!
But how? And how does it apply to our situation?
The dragon snorted. I'm thinking!

Aethelwyne was breathless with anticipation. She shrieked as she suddenly felt like she was falling, then the water hit her. Standing up she looked at Taran as he jumped in after her. She looked at him threw narrow eyes as she shook her finger at him. "That was my best dress!" She turned her back to him, unbuttoning the buttons down the front of it. Slipping out of the gown, she let it float to Taran on the surface of the water as she sent him images of his punishment.

Taran smiled at her, picking up the dress. "I told you it didn't do you justice, love," he said, putting the dress on the edge of the pool. He lowered himself deeper into the spring, so the water was up to his neck. He pulled off his shirt, throwing it next to Aethelwyne's dress. He winced at the images of his punishment, then smiled as he sent his own images. "I like that form of punishment better," he said, moving slowly closer, though the water was still just below his chin.

Aethelwyne smiled at the images he sent her. Slowly she moved closer to him. The steam rose from the water around them. As she approached him, she sent him one final image. It was powerful and strong. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him softly.

Taran pulled Aethelwyne under the water with him, kissing her. He magically lost his pants, wrapping himself around her. He sent her feelings of love, warmth, his soul caressing hers.

She gladly took him unto her, soul to soul. She loved him there, wishing that she could freeze time to revel within his love for eternity.

Taran intertwined his body and mind with hers, a mingling of two lovers. The heat of their love, the heat of their bodies, made the spring boil even hotter. Their marks glowed brightly, turning the pool a teal-y mist.
