Jaygon waited for Gidion outside Nasuada's red pavilion, his black and grey cloak blew in the slight breeze. He had a hood over his head and a newly forged mask over his face to hide his features. His hand instinctively grasped the ring on the pommel of his sword. Reaching out with his consiousness he quickly scanned the area.
The moon came over the horizon and the a new darkness covered the Varden's camp. Turma began to sleep nearby rumbling softly as she slept. A soldier came near and Jaygon ducked out of sight until he had passed by. He watched as the Nighthawks guard changed and nodded to one as he took up position.

Gidion walked toward Nasuada's pavilion where jaygon said he would be. He was in his usual garb his armor was in his sadle bag .He wore his new cloak of brown and dark blue that he had just bought. He rounded the corner saw the nighthawks switch duty and also saw a shadow move close to the pavilion. That must be him so he pulled up his hood and swiftly crossed the path he approached the stranger "elda is that you" he asked?

"Gidion," Jaygon said softly, "so nice of you to join me. Now for our assignment. As you probably know the Black Hand is everywhere even in the Varden our job is to monitor any and all activity throughout the camp, especially around Nasuada. Our method of doing so stretching out our minds and making sure that everything is as it should be, in other words be aware of everything that happens all at once." Jaygon paused as a cool breeze whipped around them and Turma rumbled again in her sleep. "Now since Nasuada is of top importance our monitoring of the area directly around her must be top priority and has to be very exact. For the best results we should stay with her the whole time. The complication to this is that we are to be a secret guard and must stay in the shadows. The only people that know of our job other than Nasuada herself are the Nighthawks, and a few higher ranking officers such as the Shadeslayer. We are the Silent Guardians."

Tia shifted in her sleep, something had disturbed her. She sat straight up in her cot. She picked up her hammer and her staff, watching the flap to her tent. Someone's mind had touched her own. And it wasn't Nula.

Jaygon felt as he touched others mind making no effort to enter any of them yet, but merely to watch. He felt as Tia was roused from her sleep and he smiled, I'll have to apologize to her when I get the chance, he thought. He watched each and every person in the Varden's camp and saw that even at night this camp was an eventful place. "Nighthawk!" he called. "There are three soldiers and a Black Hand preparing to attack Nasuada in the morning. They are stealing weapons from the armory tent right now, Saena is on her way but she will need help for there are five more standing guard out front. Get a squad of men and arrest them! Hurry!" Jaygon quickly went back to monitoring the camp for any more of the Black Hand the were getting ready for an assassination attempt.

Aela nosed her way through the flap, and told Tia of the men at the armoury tent. Her wolf's ears were incredibly sensitive, better even that an elf's. Tia nodded and rose. She dressed quickly, and took her staff from under her cot. "Shall we help?" She asked her wolf-sister. Aela nodded, and they snuck out to the Armoury Tent...

Saena had one man pinned under her two front paws. He was knocked unconscious and the others looked at her in disbelief. How were they supposed to kill a panther that had just taken out three of them in no more than three seconds. Saena growled at the rest of the men who were stealing the two legs weapons. They backed up and stopped as her growling grew louder. Saena dearly hoped that the help Jaygon had sent would arrive soon otherwise the worker of magic that was in the tent might kill her in an instant...

Tia heard the growling of the panther before the tent came into view. She smiled as she climbed to Aela's back. "None will live!" She yelled, thwacking the first man over the head with her staff. She lashed out at another while Aela leaped and dashed under her. Tia felt a strange mind press against her own, and sent a mental barrier. She thought of a massive Orca, and sent the killer whale at the enemy magician's mind.

Both Jaygon and Saena attempted to contact Tia's mind shouting, Wait! Don't kill! We need them alive! Saena, in the confusion, jumped on the black hand Tia had been combating. She batted his head with her massive paw causing him to fall and hit his head hard on the ground, knocking him unconscious. She looked at the two remaining men and growled watching them shake under her gaze. Need them alive. Need to question them. Question them about why they try to harm Varden head.

Gidion watched as jaygon left "I'll sit this one out" he told him in his mind. Then he opened his mind to every thing around him. He felt the minds of people and beast and sometimes even elf but quickly moved away from the elves for they would not be pleased to have there mind touched. Then he felt one mans mind he probed a littel deeper and found out he was sent from an elit group of assassins to kill Nasuada Gidion took to the shadows to find this man. **** Malcolm got in to the camp easly. He was disguised as a varden solider but under neath was his usual garb his assassins cloths and all his toys including his sword which he was extremly well trained in. He walked toward the pavilion hopeing the nighthawk are as dumb as their name still expected resistants though so he kept on walking and waiting for the right time to strike.

Tia changed the whale's course, letting it swim through minds, looking for other threats. She senced a dangerous mind, but couldn't tell much more than he was an assasin. "I'm going after another, near the pavillion. It was a distraction!" She launched the mental whale at the strange mind, trying to batter his defences down. Aela ran through the camp, searching for them man by scent.

Malcolm felt the mental attack and brought up his defense. As strong as titanium alloy steel and prepared his mind for a counter attack. he made a spear head with his mind and attacked their mind. Then he used a special trick and blocked off his mind do it was as if he was not even in the camp. ok I got to move fast now he jogged to the right lane and followed it to the pavilion that's when the crap hit the fan a hooded man came out of the shadows and alerted the nighthawks now it was 1 vs 7 not good odds he pulled out his sword and waited for the fight. **** Gidion heard Tia yell and made his way back towards the pavilion hoping to stop the man before he got to the nighthawks. he saw the man jog and round the corner that must be him so Gidion stepped into the road "Nighthawks! He yelled He's an assassin her to kill nasuada" Gidion pulled out his sword and shield "the odds are with me" he said wating for the nighthawks to join him.

Tia shriecked, leaping off Aela's back, ready to land in front of the assassin. She kept uttering strange shrieks and roars, a trick she learned from the Shrrgs, trying to put the enemy off...

Malcome had no time for this he brought the flat of his blade down on the woman felt it connect turned and ran tword the night hawks. Cutting two of the six down he managed to get through and in to the pavilion. He found Nasuada in her bed clothes slipped a sleeping potion out and made her drink. Then hosted her up on his back through a couple of smoke bombs and left the pavilion running for the hills.

Jaygon ran after quickly cutting him off. "Hello there young one. I respectfully ask you to put the woman down and leave," Jaygon said in a threatening tone. Jaygon pulled out his two blades and combined them, "Now!" Turma landed behind Jaygon making the ground shake. "What did you hope to achieve here?" he asked. "Did you honestly think you'd get away with this?"
