Arrival

Gianna watched her sons awkward behavior with amusement. He was 't acting at all like himself! He was a quiet boy but never shy! what is wrong with that child she said sagely to Einar in response to his mental sigh. Eva had held up her composure, but she had always been more outgoing and social. "Well then, I think we shall leave you all to make you selfs at home. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to ask. My family is always here to help." Vana bowed her head to Gianna, catching Gianna off guard. It was such an odd thing to experience.

Maude felt relieved when Ian gave an equally unsophisticated hello. More so, she thought. He was acting like a half wit, at least, what she thought a halfwit would act like. Hana said thank you to the two, and they were finally off to find their new home.

Maude found herself in a thick woods, filled with animal sounds and rustling leaves. The late evenig sun cast orange light through the leaves, dappling the ground with light. Eragon had said something about the woods of meditation, and Maude assumed this must be the place. She felt comfortable here. It reminded her somewhat of the spine. Sighing, she sat down and rested her back against a tree, closing here eyes wearily.

"We'll see you all later. Rest well." Einar bowed his head in response to Vana's as he then watched them turn to leave.
"Thank you again, Einar and Gianna. It brings us great joy to be welcomed." Kyler smiled at them and then with Vana, led Maude to their new home.

"Now, what was that?" Einar glanced at Ian, expecting him to answer.
Ian just shrugged, not knowing the answer, but not wanting to talk about. "Nothing." He said and then pulled at Eva's hand. "Let's go. We still have to finish our spar. Wanna come Glory?" Ian asked, hoping to drive their attention away from him. He turned to go back onto Eos.

After the children left, Einar stared at his wife. "Well, that...was not like him." He said with some bemusement. "I hope he isn't holding any grudges against Vana and Kyler; its really not like him."

Kyler surveyed their new home. "That went better then I had hoped." Kyler smiled at his wife, embracing her from behind as he watched Maude sit against a tree. "She must be exhausted." He whispered to her, as he sensed Typhon settling himself next to Viel, having finished adjusting the leaves and the bedding to her liking.

Glory stood by quietly as Ian and Eva were introduced. She noticed how awkward Ian seemed, which really wasn't like him. She found herself growing more comfortable after the gathering began to break apart. She heard Ian's invitation to go with him and Eva to watch them spar.
"Okay," she said, smiling a little. She was glad these two were here. She was as close to them as she was to any of her siblings, and without them, she would have been extremely lonely. She got on Sundavar, who moved to take flight and follow Eos.
