Eragon sat on the edge of the cliff in New Doru Areba looking at Saphira training the you goings in going maneuvers off in the distance. He sighed wondering if it were true that he was bever going to return to his homeland. He stood up and secured Brisingr tightly to his belt. He walked down the corridor outside of his quarters.

Jaygon walked down a corridor wondering how Turma was doing visiting her wild relatives. He turned a corner still deep in thought. The new generation of riders had been forced to learn faster then any of the previous generations. This worried Jaygon, he feared that this generation would be unprepared for the dangers they would face when they returned to Alagaesia and as they explored other places. Perhaps I should bring these concerns to Eragon. He might be willing to listen.
Jaygon moved swiftly through the corridors trying to find Eragon. Some of the younger riders inclined their head respectfully towards him as he passed. He nodded at them and kept walking. Jaygon turned a corner that lead to the hallway that lead to Eragon's corridors. "Eragon?" he called. "I wish to speak with you, will you spare me a minute?"

Eragon turned to look at the ancient rider walking gracefully towards him. He best his hard over his chest in the elven gesture of respect. "Yes of course. What may I help you with Jaygon?"

"I am concerned for the new generation of Riders. They are forced to learn too fast. I understand that we would like to have them ready as soon as possible, but I would rather them take some of their studies a bit slower. I fear if we don't adjust this they will make mistakes that may prove fatal," Jaygon said. He leaned against the wall, "It's just a suggestion but if we slow down certain areas of their training, make them really consider them then perhaps we could limit the uncontrollable mistakes."
