Ian nodded as he gently took the flowers. He made a mental reminder to let Maude know about the thorns, or better yet, he'll probably just put a ward over them so they wouldn't wilt or cause harm to her. "Thanks again, Glory! You're the best!" He smiled. "I'll see you later! Tell me how it goes with Seth, and he better be a gentleman!" Ian waved goodbye to his cousin as he once again raced off to complete the rest of the tasks.
Once he reached Castiel, Ian gently opened his side bag that he had with him. He placed the necessary wards on the roses to protect them from harm and then concocted a spell that would protect it from aging like a normal roses. He gingerly then, placed them in the bag and turned to face Eva and Eos, excitement and urgency on his face. "Let's go, Eva. We need to find the creeping bellflowers! And quick too!" He ran off toward the woods, hoping that they knew what they were looking for. Castiel padded after his Rider, feeling excited that his Rider was happy.

Glory waved to Ian with a smile as he scampered off, roses in hand. She hoped he would have a wonderful, memorable night with Maude. With all this settled, she turned to make her way back into the city. You should change, Sundavar said, sniffing at Glory's dark, daily tunic. Glory glanced curiously at the dragon. Why? If we're going to be walking around, I want to wear something comfortable. No questions, young lady! Sometimes comfort must be sacrificed! You want to look especially nice for him tonight! Sundavar...He won't even be able to see me, Glory reminded her. That threw the dragon off for a moment. Oh...well...the, put on some clothes that smell nice, she said, trying to recover. Oh! Or put on some scented oil! That will catch his attention! I'm not trying to catch his attention. I've already got his attention. Now we're just trying to see how this will go. Still, Glory placed a fresh black rose into her hair, that both looked and smelled nice. She couldn't help but hope he thought she appeared nice that evening as she went to their usual meeting place.

With his sister, Ian was able to locate the creeping bellflowers that were described to him (or he atleast hoped it was). Gathering them carefully, Ian rushed over to the gazebo and began to decorate it, wrapping the flowers around the pillars. You really like her don't you? Castiel had commented as Ian finished his spell of having the werelights dance around the gazebo. Ian blushed. Yes....I want to impress her! He retorted and went back with Eva to make some food. Getting those done, Ian wrapped the food in a basket and gave it to Castiel to fly it over to the gazebo. Finally, everything seemed to be complete. Ian bid his sister and Eos goodbye to get himself ready, hoping that their advice of him wearing that fancy green tunic and black pants would be all worth it in the end. Taking a quick bath, Ian dressed and rushed over to where he would meet Maude, bouquet of roses in hand.
A bundle of nerves, Ian refused the impulse to pace and tap his foot; he could feel the knots in his stomach gnawing at him. Is everything ready, Cas? Ian asked the white dragon, who was waiting for them at the gazebo. Yes! For the hundreth time, yes! Just calm down. You'll do fine! You look great too! Castiel commented as Ian displayed a mental image of him standing at the entrance to the woods, that led to the gazebo. This is really happening! Maude said yes! Ian communicated, feeling a nervous exhilerating rush. He really hoped that he wouldn't ruin his chances with Maude tonight. He waited as patiently as he could for Maude to show.
OOC: There! Rush summary from a lazy person! Yours truly. hehehe

I do believe you'll be late if you take any longer. Magda commented from where she lay on the floor of Maude's bedroom, curled up with her head on her forepaws. Maude was staring at herself in a mirror, heart beating rapidly. The nerves had come upon her quite suddenly. The whole time she had been preparing herself, she had felt confident, fine, and even excited. Now she felt slightly shaky. Would things be awkward between her and Ian tonight? she hoped not. His friendship was one thing she had come to cherish here in Bromsland. All will be well. You look beautiful, as well. Maude smiled, grateful as always for Magda. As a true warrior and huntress should.
"Well, we all know that you are the most beautiful huntress in the land." Maude said, and Magda hummed with pleasure. Maude stared into the mirror, giving herself one last look over. The dress had fit her well, though Maude had had to augment a few things with magic. Which, she must remember, to augment back before her mother could catch on. The shoes she had had to also borrow from her mother. They were black slippers, with silver gilding. The dress and the shoes were exquisite. A remnant from her mother's noble stature in the empire, Maude had decided. her snow white hair she had put in a long, intricate fashion down her back. Most of her hair was lose, but there were several braids tied together in the back that seemed to waterfall down. Magic had helped with that too. Maude had put a small amount of rogue on her cheeks, just to give her a flushed appearance. Her lips she had brushed with rogue as well, and Maude decided that she did look rather fetching. "Ok then. Let's go." ~~
Maude spotted Ian already waiting for her at the edge of the woods. She approached him with Magda at her side, one hand resting on the ruby shoulder of her bond. Her eyes looked over Ian. He had never looked so handsome before. And his eyes! She had never realized how green they were before. Like emeralds. He looked like a noble from some sort of fairytale, and Maude was all the more flattered that he had asked her to join him this evening for a more romantic outing. "Hello." She said, stopping before him. "Wow, Ian. You look really, really nice." Feeling suddenly shy, Maude glanced down at her feet.

OOC: You know, now that I look at my previous post, I must say, that is a really bad post. Hmm, I'll make it up to you Trinn! lol
Ian scratched his arm out of nervousness as he awaited for Maude. Hopeful green eyes scanned the open path to the city, eager to see Maude appear at any moment. He glanced at the sky, noting the stars were alighting as seven o'clock approached. Ian's heart pulsated with anticipation and excitement for tonight. Only in his dreams had Maude said yes to his many fantasized, suave ways of courting her; none that truly resembled his shaking personality at the moment, where his cooler self would sweep Maude off her feet and have her instantly falling in love with him. However, despite his shaking self, the reality that Maude said yes was even better than his dream. It was real and that gave hope to the young Einarson. He glanced down at the roses, biting his lower lip as he contemplated the meanings behind each color. He glanced at the red rose in the center and a blush instantly appeared. If love was to think of Maude every morning, day, and evening, then Ian felt he qualified, though, not in a crazy stalkerish way, but in a young, innocent fantasy. He glanced up from the roses at the sound of footsteps.
Ian's eyes lighted with happiness as he saw Maude and Magda (really Maude) appear. He noticed her apparel and found it incredibly alluring as it accentuated her beauty more than he could have ever imagined. She was simply beautiful. The red dress was perfect on her and Ian felt his heart stop at the sight of her. Oh yes, he could die happy right now. Perfect bliss - it was even better than when he felt when she said yes to him! It seemed his happiness could only grow when he saw Maude every time. She stopped in front of him which made him realize that he was staring at her and he hoped he didn't look like an idiot. "Hello." Ian replied, sounding awed at the sight of Maude. He blushed at her compliment. "Thank you." He whispered out from embarrassment and gathering courage (mostly from Castiel's encouragment), he spoke. "You are beautiful." He told her, his face feeling hot as it went crimson; more of a fact than a compliment in Ian's opinion. He innocently smiled at her as he watched her glance down. Was she nervous like him? Ian didn't have time to ponder on that revelation when he felt Castiel's mind nudge him. Give her the flowers, silly! Ian chuckled lightly from his nerves and presented Maude the roses. "These are for you." He hoped she liked them and wouldn't feel awkward at the roses' meanings. "I hope you like them." He then offered his other hand for her to take so that he could escort her to the gazebo, feeling the blissful, nervous, and excited emotions coursing through him at the thought of holding her hand.

Maude only noticed the flowers when Ian handed them to her. She accepted them with a smile, looking down at the different colors. They were incredibly beautiful. She noticed there was a little note attached to the stem of one rose. Before taking Ian's hand, she carefully opened the note and was pleased to find a description of the rose colors meaning. It had never occured to her that roses colors meant different things. She found herself beginning to blush as she read down the list. At the end, there was the red rose, and Maude felt her heartbeat increase. Did Ian really love her? Looking up at him, Maude smiled and took his hand. "Thank you for the roses, Ian. They are all beautiful. I- I don't know what to say." she said honestly, feeling a little overwhelmed by the list of meanings. Could she say that she loved Ian back? Maude wasn't sure, and she didn't want to rush into anything only to hurt Ian later. But for now, the answer felt like yes.
Magda strode over to Castiel and nipped at his scaly shoulder. Come, let us fly. She said to her friend, and before he could respond, Magda bounded up and into the sky.

Ian's heart hammered harder as he spotted Maude unwrapping the note that was around the roses. He gulped, feeling embarrassed at their meanings. What if she didn't feel the same? She feels something, Ian. Its not like she was pining after you like you were for her. Give it some time, silly. Castiel told Ian, reassuring his rider that it was okay if Maude didn't love him as he loved her. It'll take some time, but he'll win her heart! Ian wanted to scratch his arm, but Castiel's reminded him that he needed to get rid of that nervous habit, so he refrained. He stood there quietly, letting Maude finish reading. "It's okay, Maude. You don't need to say anything...I...I just want you to know how I feel." He told her, equally honest. He gratefully took her hand into his. "I'm glad you like them." He smiled at her as he led her to the gazebo.
It was about a five minute walk through the path that led to the gazebo, which was lined with werelights above them as Ian had placed them earlier. He continued to lead Maude down the path until the gazebo came nto view. It was brightly lit due to the multicolor werelights that were already in place; one of the curious occurances in the land. Ian glanced over at Maude briefly, wondering what she was thinking. He led her carefully up the gazebo stairs, admiring her dress more clearly with the lights above them. She was so beautiful. His foot stumbled slightly on the last step, due to his staring. He blushed, caught himself before falling. He chuckled nervously. So much for being a romantic. She must think him a klutz. "Sorry." He mumbled, and with a red face, took her to the table that was in the middle of the gazebo. He took out the chair for her, helping her to sit. The table was draped with a red garb, and on top, a variety of food. The assortment of food was beautifully set on the table and Ian reminded himself to thank his sister for all her help. Ian felt incredibly nervous, not wanting to ruin his chances with Maude. However, despite his nerves, he couldnt shake off the glowing smile on his face as he stared at Maude. "You look really beautiful tonight, Maude." He repeated his compliment again as he regretfully let go of her hand when she finally sat. He took his own seat. He glanced at the food, all looking delicious, but his nerves were making him weary of food. He continued to stare at her, feeling surreal and nervous, as well as a bit awkward - he didnt know what to say next!
*** Castiel gave a gurgled hum at Madga, accepting her invitation easily. Have fun, you two. Cas called out to them before taking after Madga. Let's go fish diving! Ian had overhead the dragon suggest to his kin as he flew off.
