Character's name: Sachiko
Character's age: 16
Character's attitude: Sachi is heartless and cruel, and thrives on the pain she can cause to others. She lives and breathes to hurt others, torturing them for as long as she can. Though she harms all equally, she has a greater distaste for males.
Sachi is very unbalanced, unpredictable at times. She can easily give the appearance of innocence and is quite the talented actress. Most don't suspect anything of her until it is too late and she has them under her grasp.
Character's Race: human
Character's appearance:
Sachiko wears a long red dress at all times. Though at first sight it seems to simply be dyed that way, the reality is that it has been soaked in blood many times over. She has long, loose black hair and bright blue eyes.
Character's allegiance: Shade Uprising
Weapons: Sachi uses an assortment of tools for torture, but often just settles with a serrated knife which she uses to hack her victims to pieces.
Other Info: There is often a black, one-eyed werecat named Pluto seen standing near her. For some reason, she never hurts him, although other creatures she tortures just as much as humans.
History: Sachiko was born a few months before the end of the war in Narda. Her father had joined the efforts to fight back the Varden and was killed before she was born. Sachiko was raised under the nurturing care of her mother for two years. Then, one evening, an acquaintance of her mother came to visit. The man became increasingly violent, although Sachi remembers little of what was actually said. She vividly remembers the image of the man tearing off her mother's clothes and trying to violate her, accidentally killing her in the process.
The man quickly became afraid, seeing what he had done, and glanced around for witnesses. His eyes fell upon the little girl, and he knew he had to deal with her. He found a serrated knife on the kitchen counter and went after Sachi, who tried to flee in terror. He cornered her, but she fought back, hitting and biting until she landed a blow that left him sprawled across the floor, releasing the knife. Sachiko quickly picked it up and began to repeatedly stab him with it until he stopped moving.
After that, the little girl's innocence was forever gone. She went mad from the loss of her mother, and when the townspeople saw her soaked in blood and wielding a knife, they thought she was possessed and drove her out of town. Sachiko hid in the Spine for a while after that. She would harm anything she saw, be it bugs, beasts, or humans. Travellers, she lured in, saying she was lost and asking for help. Then she would capture them, and soon found she felt extreme pleasure in hearing screams of pain. She wanted to hear it as long as she could, and so learned how to draw out suffering.
Thus far, only one creature has ever successfully not fallen for her ploy of supposed innocence. It was a fair-sized black werecat. She tried to lure him in, but he was too smart for her. He made a clawed swipe at her gesturing hand, which sent Sachi into a rage. They fought each other for an entire night, bloodying each other in many ways. Sachi managed to take one of his eyes during the fight. Finally, they were both too exhausted to fight any longer, and the werecat introduced himself as Pluto. He has not been far from the girl ever since.
When she was about ten years old, Sachiko came across a woman stranger than any she had ever seen so far. Her very presence seemed to radiate equal amounts authority, power, and evil. Sachi's play of innocence did not have the effect on her as it normally did. The woman just cast her aside as if she cared nothing for the child. Enraged at being ignored, Sachiko attacked her, showing the extent of her true madness. Of course, since the woman was both a Shade and a Rider, the little girl could not even hope to mark her. However, Katriana was impressed by the girl's fervored hatred of all things and decided that she could be useful. She brought Sachi, along with the werecat, along with her on her travels and introduced her to Vanilor. Thus was the beginning of the Shade's army.
Kat has used Sachiko's talents for many things, allowing her to play with traitors and spies, as well as putting her acting kill to use in bringing in new followers. Even as she matured, Kat has seen many possiblities for dear, young Sachi.
Role Play Sample:
Sachiko entered the town during the middle of a downpour, appearing very bedraggled and miserable. She went to a house at random and knocked on the door. An old woman answered.
"Oh, you poor dear!" she cried out, leading Sachiko inside. There was an old man sitting in a rocking chair by the fire. He got up at the sight of the soaked girl, but Sachiko didn't bother. She just sat on the floor in front of the fire, holding out her hands to be warmed.
"Whatever are you doing, wandering the streets in the middle of the night, and during this sort of weather?" the old woman asked.
"I...got lost," Sachiko said, shivering. "Where am I?"
"We're just a little settlement some ways out from Melian," the old man said, taking his seat again. He lit a pipe, and after a moment the sweet smell of tobacco smoke permeated the house. "We ain't even got much of anything here. Not even a smithy or a carpenter."
"An inn?" Sachiko asked, looking up at the kind strangers, her expression seeming hopeful. The old woman hesitantly nodded.
"Yeah, we've got an inn, but I don't want to let you poor thing back outside again. Why don't you stay here for the night? We've got a spare bedroom, now that our boy's grown and gone."
"Thank you..." Sachiko said, lowering her head to stare back into the fire. Her long hair drifted over her shoulders, concealing the wicked, mad smile that crossed her face. Katriana would be so pleased.

Later that night, even as the rainfall began to lessen to a simple drizzle, Sachiko wandered into the bedroom of the old couple. Silently, gently, she set to work, restraining them on the bed so they couldn't move, couldn't struggle. She was unable to conceal her laughter, which caused the old man to wake up with a start.
"I..wha--AAAAUUUUGGGHH!!!" his question was interrupted as Sachiko began to methodically slice various tendons in his body with her serrated knife. Warm blood covered her fingers, and the smell was sweet to her. The old woman awoke and began to scream as Sachi continued in her bloody carvings.
The sound of screaming was a signal. More of Katriana's army lay waiting on the outskirts. At the sounds of torture coming from within the town, they began their attack, slaughtering the entirety without mercy, and then burning everything.
Sachiko frowned as flames caught onto the house she was inside. She couldn't prolong her fun any longer. She had just barely moved in on the old lady, her husband bleeding to death and making no more screams but only burbling gargles. The girl sighed. The others didn't want her to have her fun. She put away her knife and casually made her way down the stairs and outside, her image silhouetted against the inferno behind her.
