It had taken Teza Mae a while to fall asleep, still thinking about the strange turn her life had suddenly taken. She was hoping she and Aradan would be able to work, but she was worrying over all the what ifs that started bombarding her mind. Eventually, though, her mind started to drift off. She was aware when Aradan put his arm around her, and in her nearly subconscious state, she cuddled back against him, enjoying his warmth. She awoke when she felt him move his arm. It was still dark, but she could sense that the sky was lightening in the east, the earliest signs of the sun long before it would show its face with dawn. It was colder now than it had been when they fell asleep, but she knew it would begin to warm again in an hour or so. She yawned and stretched stiffly. Then she turned over and smiled sleepily at Aradan. "Morning," she told him. In her half-asleep state, she rather hoped he would kiss her good morning, like she had seen her parents do on occasion when she was younger and sneaked into their room to awaken them.

Aradan gave Teza Mae a warm smile as she turned over to greet him. "Good Morning." He greeted, his cheeks still a slight hue of pink from his earlier action. "We should get going." He told her, and then paused, wondering if their was something different he was suppose to do now that their feelings were out. "Unless...you want to do something else?" He asked her, completely new to their whole situation. Were they now suppose to make this into a romantic outing? Wasn't he suppose to be a romantic now? He didn't think he would make a good one, nor did he know what was suppose to happen on those outings. The young man was utterly confused on courting a woman; he was content with being isolated in the woods with Veryan the rest of his life. However the notion had once appealed, the idea of snuggling with Teza Mae during the morning hours sounded better - even if they missed the hunt.

Teza Mae felt like pouting when Aradan didn't kiss her, but as she became more awake, she was aware that she really shouldn't be expecting such things for a while. Last night was an impulsive moment for both of them. She had a feeling it may be a while before Aradan got up the nerve to kiss her again. She stood and stretched again, rolling up her bed. She rolled her eyes as it seemed he was trying to figure out what they should do. "Let's just go have fun today," she told him, "Like we always do. Hunting is fine for now. You can save the flowers and romantic picnic and star gazing for next week." She flashed a quick grin at him. She had a feeling he probably needed the suggestions for how to make their dates more romantic. But she hoped that they wouldn't stop just going out and having fun like this. Exploring the woods, hunting, and generally sneaking away from the city was great amusement to her.

Aradan smiled, liking Teza Mae's suggestion. He was half afraid that she expected him to be the romantic knight that those old tales spoke of. Thank goodness she just wanted him! That thought made his smile grow more pronounce. "Yeah, let's go and have fun. First one to take down a deer gets the kiss from the other?" He asked, excited at his small playful challenge? It was honestly a win win for him. He dared to peck her on the cheek before finishing up his packing, hasty away with blushed embarassment at their newfound relationship.
Veryan watched the two Riders with exasperation. He did hope they were not going to be mushy all the time. Garrus, may I say, that our two-leggeds are far more stranger when they have finally confessed to one another.

Teza Mae's eyes sparkled at Aradan's challenge. That playful nature was one of the things she really liked about him. His peck on her cheek made her blush momentarily as she hurriedly packed her things. "You're on," she told him, grabbing her bow and arrows, and then taking his hand as she ran off into the woods. Automatically, she started studying the ground for tracks, her father's lessons ingrained into her mind. She picked up a trail in moments; there was a herd perhaps a mile or so away.
Garrus stared after the Riders as they ran off into the woods. I'm not sure I will ever fully understand them, he commented to Veryan, whipping his tail about. But I suppose as long as Princess is happy, so am I.
