Tatiana's sharp eyes followed the deer carefully, her hand steady before her as the arrow lined itself with its prey. It had been nearly two months since Tylon joined the Ismalian Army, and nearly a month since she had run off on her own too. She would never admit it, but she had come to miss her youngest brother - the world didn't seem so...chaotic without her two brothers together tormenting her life. Her thoughts lingered back to the day her parents had found out about Tylon's disappearance. Her father had Thane and herself gathered in front of him, as an interrogation.
~~~ Where is your brother? Tristan asked. Tatiana shrugged, a bad move on her part since she always seemed to declare that he was up to mischief. She saved herself quickly, Probably tormenting the cooks, as usual, Father. She tried to maintain her indifference, but her father saw through it. Tati....Thane...Tristan's voice was his dangerous voice...hinting toward a yelling voice. Where. Is. Your. Brother? Tatiana merely smiled sheepishly, an instant clue that something was terribly wrong. TEODORA!!! Tristan's voice reverberated through the castle, calling upon his wife and the best interrogator he had ever known.
~~~ Tati cringed from the past mental yell she had recalled from her father, letting loose her arrow early and unexpectedly. She cried out in annoyance as the deer darted off and her arrow had found itself embedded in the dirt. She couldn't believe Tylon had convinced her to keep quiet! Her parents had found the letter her brother had left and now had demanded that they all go and find him; they had left immediately for Alagaesia, and hence, her return to this foreign country. But, after a month of trying to trail down her brother, Tati got fed up and wandered on her own to find him - she was getting nowhere with her parents interrogating everyone on the road. So, perhaps by bad judgement, she left and now found herself by herself, in the wilderness of a foreign country, staring after what was suppose to be dinner She grumbled, left her hiding spot and went to gather up the loose arrow. She sighed. She was determined to find Tylon, and perhaps, bring their crazy family together again, if Mother and Father didn't kill her for leaving them too.
As she bent to pick up her arrow, she heard the crack of Autumn roasted leaves behind her, Tatiana swirled around, her bow and arrow ready to attack.
*** Daeron stared into the fire as he sat before it, waiting for instructions on what to do from Katriana, or Sachi, or even Glory, who, to his surprise and pleasure had found within the Shade Army. The young man was now contemplating on how he could prove himself to his new leader when he felt a presence come and sit by him.

Allecia approached the girl from behind, looking contemplative. She gave a startled gasp at Tati's sudden turn, as if she hadn't noticed her before. "Peace," she said, "I mean no harm. I was not expecting to find anyone out in these woods." She looked curiously, wondering who this young woman was. "What brings you out here?" she asked. ~~~~~ Sachi stared at Daeron for a long time, standing in the shadows. She felt strange whenever she saw him; her heart would beat faster, and when he happened to glance her way, she felt her face burn. She often found herself daydreaming about him...although her daydreams usually involved a rather violent aspect. It frustrated her that she couldn't comprehend these emotions she was experiencing. She wondered if talking to him would help her sort these feelings out. Short of killing him, she could see no other alternative and she was afraid she was about to go even more mad than she already was. She approached him, sitting next to him in front of the fire. Along her way there, she'd noticed a beetle scuttling about in the sand, which she picked up. She hadn't hurt anything in a while, and she was really starting to get agitated about that. She sat next to Daeron in silence for a moment or two, unable to think of anything to say. She just focused on mutilating the bug as she fished around. She was here--why couldn't she talk now? "Fire is pretty, isn't it?" she finally said, forcing the words out of her mouth. Why did she suddenly seem so nervous?" She focused on the bug again.

Tati raised a curious eyebrow at the woman before her; taught at a young age never to trust strangers, especially as an heir to the crown. "My business, with all due respect, is my own." She gruffed out, irritated at her circumstance of lack of dinner and trailing down her idiot brother. She lowered her bow only a bit, should the stranger decide to be less than friendly with her. Tati sighed, remembering her manners, "Forgive me, its been a long day." Tatiana admitted. "I too, was also not expecting anyone out here." She kept a cautious eye out at Allecia. "I am looking for my brother." She finally declared. "And you, ma'am? What brings you out in these woods?"
*** Daeron glanced over when Sachi sat down. He gave her a small smile and resumed his staring at the fire. Sachi was an odd girl, violent, but kind (in her own way) too. She was the one who offered him a chance to be someone better - to matter, and for that he would always be grateful, even if she had mutilated his friends. Daeron merely shrugged at her words. "Its all right, I guess." He replied as he stuck his hand out, whispering Brisingr. The fire danced around his hand as if being orchestrated by Daeron's mere whim. He ended his spell and drew his hand back. "Any news of what were doing now? I'm getting restless with doing nothing, Sachi. You promised I could prove myself to Katriana soon. Its been months, and all I've done is a few pathetic skirmishes." Daeron released his concerns to the girl, his tone frustrated.

Allecia grew immensely interested in the girl as soon as she began speaking. An Ismalian, by her accent. Also, she apparently didn't know this area very well. How foolish to be wandering on her own...She gave Tati a warm smile to help put her at ease. "I live nearby, dear," she explained. "I was going out for a late autumn stroll, enjoying the scents of fall." Her expression grew more concerned. "You say you are searching for your brother. Are you lost? Or is he?" ~~~~~ Sachi watched the flames dance around Daeron's hand for a moment, intrigued. Fire was a beautiful thing to her. It consumed all life relentlessly, at once it was ablaze, it took enormous effort to extinguish. She blinked as he suddenly demanded to know Katriana's plans. "You have been proving yourself to her," she said. "Leading our exploits into the various towns is a very important position. She only picks the very best to do it. All we can afford to do at the moment are light skirmishes. Kat's waiting; she wants her Riders like Nethia and your sister to be fully trained before beginning our true attack. I don't think it will be much longer, though." She focused back down on her beetle again, snapping off a couple of legs and a wing. Bugs weren't nearly satisfying to torment, though. They made no noise, and sometimes she wondered if they even felt pain. Frustrated and restless, she tossed the still-living insect into the fire, hearing a loud pop that for a moment made her smile with pleasure. But before too long, she was digging her fingernails into the flesh on her arms, aching to hear evidence of pain.

Tatiana stared at Allecia, growing more curious by the second by the woman. There seemed to be something about her that Tati just couldn't trust. She scoffed at the woman's question. "I am never lost; I seek my brother so we can return home." She declared with an air of her station. She glanced subtley about her. "I did not think anyone would live all the way out here." She admitted, her bow still at the ready should Allecia prove to be an assassin.
*** Daeron sighed. I don't feel like I'm making a difference with those skirmishes." The young man admitted as he glanced over to watch Sachi mutilate a bug. Why she always seemed to want to kill things was a mystery to him, but nonetheless it seemed to fascinate him sometimes. Odd. He was beginning to enjoy leading and killing whenever he was on those skirmishes. Where he once valued life, now, he only cared to get Katriana's wishes completed. It was an odd feeling, a compulsion, one could say. Daeron had little more time to contemplate on the thought when he spotted Sachi digging her nails into her skin. "What are you doing?" He asked her with a curious and concern brow. His hand gently went to take a hold of one hand so he could pry it away from harming herself. "You'll hurt yourself." He stated, feeling a restless aura emitting from Sachi.

Allecia was a bit amused by the girl's confidance. She was taught to distrust and rely upon herself. That could be just as dangerous as it could be helpful. "Ah, seeking a runaway, then? You are certain he would desire to return if you speak with him?" She looked thoughtful for a moment. "Night will be falling shortly, and with it will be colder weather. Unless you desire to travel through the night, I would like to invite you to spend your night at my house. It is warm and there will be dinner." ~~~~~ Sachiko felt Daeron trying to pry her fingers off her arm. She knew he was concerned about her; the thought was strange, though. She was unused to being cared about, even by Kat. Normally, she was just feared and avoided at all costs. She blinked, an odd haze starting to cloud her mind. The desire to feel blood on her hands again threatened to consume her. Kat had kept her home far too long. "It's so quiet," she said, nearly groaning. "I haven't heard the sound of screaming in so long...the lack of causing pain is maddening." She'd never really admitted this to anyone before, except Kat. She was addicted to causing pain, and to go without it made her suffer. She glanced over at Daeron. He was so close...so vulnerable. She could cause him unimaginable pain that very moment, perhaps even ending his life with a dramatic flare. Still, she hesitated. She felt that would dampen the relationship they had right now, and any potential to further it. "Can I..." she started to ask. She'd never asked before. She always just did it. No one in their right mind would allow her to, anyway. "May I hurt you? Just a little?"

OOC: Ugh!! Its so hard to think like Tati! My brain has stopped thinking like Tati and is more intrigued on this relationship with Daeron and Sachi...weirddddddddd lol. All right, I'm gonna pause on replying for Tati - sorry, I'm just not getting anything. Meep.
Daeron was pleased to have carefully removed Sachi's hand from harming herself. He held her hand as he listened to her describe her pain. His face held some concern as well as curiousity. Did she feel pain when she was not inflicting it? He had never heard of such a thing, but it oddly, it made sense to him - given what he had seen her do. He was half surprised that she just wouldn't go about on a killing spree every night, but supposed that Katriana didn't allow it for some reason. His hand tightened briefly when he heard her request. He blinked and gazed at their clasped hands for a moment. Sachi...was asking to hurt him? That was...new. She never seemed to ask for anything, but merely did what she wanted. To have her asking such a thing...or just asking in itself was a strange occurance and one that Daeron would not take lightly. For this woman - who he felt indebted to on multiple levels - to ask to cause pain meant that she was really in pain. It also meant that she was confiding in him - that she might even trust him. That caused odd feelings to pulse in his chest. He finally glanced up at her, trying to read her eyes as he now, asked his question. "Will it help ease your pain?" He asked her, strangely considering her request.

OOC: No prob. Allecia's having a hard time communicating with me as well. I just couldn't think of anyone else to run into Tati.
Sachi waited to hear the response from Daeron. She wanted to hurt him, so much right now. Every impuse was driving her to take her knife and saw his hand off. Except for one part of her. The part that was staring at their clasped hands and sending her heart fluttering in odd ways. That part held her back, not wanting to drive him away. That was the only reason why she asked. She met his gaze when he replied to her question with his own. "It would," she told him. She tried her best not to look desperate as she tightened her grip on his hand. "Please, just a few small cuts. Even just hearing you whimper would suffice. I just...I need to see suffering."

Daeron raised an eyebrow as Sachi seemed to grow more desperate for blood. What was he about to get himself into? The thought of her being in pain repulsed some part of him and wanted to ease it away. That part, seemed to be more dominant the more he spent his time with the crimson woman. He considered her request once more, a part of him knowing that it wouldn't stop at just a few cuts. He finally gave her a nod and stood up. "Not out in the open. I don't want Glory to see; she might get the wrong idea and attack you." He told her, helping her up. This was by far, one of the oddest things he was going to do.

Sachiko waited as Daeron contemplated further. She was afraid that even if he denied her, she would be unable to help herself. And then she wouldn't hold back. If he refused her, she knew she would attack him and mutilate him until he could fit in an ale mug. She never did like to be denied anything. A slight but visible relief entered her eyes as he agreed, and she stood with him. His request to go out of sight from his sister made sense. She didn't want to start a war within the camp, and she knew Kat would be exceptionally displeased if something like that were to happen. She went with him to a concealed tent, which would muffle noises as well as hide them. She untied her bloody, rusty serrated knife from her belt at stared at him with an increasingly bloodthirsty gaze. Still, a part of her held back. "Are you...ready?" she asked. She didn't want to catch him by surprise. Didn't want to scare him...well, any more that he was surely already afraid of her.

Daeron followed Sachi quietly into the tent, feeling more curious and concerned for Sachi than his own well being. A part of him thought he was an idiot for doing this and was constantly telling him that he had just walked into Death, while the other just continued to desire to ease Sachi's personal torment. Daeron entered the tent and walked into the middle of it, watching as Sachi revealed her knife. He watched the bloodlust in her eyes slowly increase, but something else seemed to be there as well, which was a bit confusing for Daeron but he made no mention of it to the other occupant in the tent. At her question, Daeron lifted a finger, signaling for her to wait just one moment, feeling a bit apprehensive, but calm at the same time - how strange. Daeron then proceeded to remove his shirt, exposing his bare torso to her. "Better to harm somewhere that a tunic can hide should I be unable to heal myself; Glory won't get suspicious." Daeron explained as he took a deep breath. "Okay. Oh...wait!" Daeron stopped Sachi once more. "Um...do you want me to fight back?" He asked her, feeling awkward at their situation - it wasn't like he had done this before. "Mmm, maybe not...you might get carried away. Okay, um, I'm ready." He nodded firmly this time, assuring her that he wasn't going to stop her until she was seemingly satisfied.

As Daeron explained where he wanted her to stab, Sachi found herself staring at his bared torso. She felt an odd lurch in her chest at the sight, almost as much as she desired to maim him, the desire to just caress him. That was strange. Still, her bloody thoughts were starting to take over and she couldn't think clearly about much else. She approached him when he assured her he was ready, and quickly made a slice over his chest. The sight of warm blood was comforting, and she made another slice in rapid succession. Then she took a stab at his side, embedding her knife, but somehow making certain she avoided any vital spots. She continued for a few more minutes, alternating stabs and slices, and feeling first comforted, then ecstatic by the pain she knew she was causing. Before she lost herself entirely, she took a couple of steps back and closed her eyes. The initial thrill faded away, the drive to continue. But the happy feeling remained, and she found she could smile again. "Thank you, Daeron," she told him sincerely. Then her expression became a bit concerned. "I..I didn't hurt you too badly, did I?" she asked him. He was one of the few people she didn't want to see dead.

Daeron hissed out in pain at the first cut, shuddering and fighting back the instinct to retalitate. He clenched his fists, holding down the urge to attack Sachi for harming him. This will make her feel better. Was the mantra he pounded into his head as she began to stab him. He groaned out in pain, a small whimper escaping his mouth as he keeled over for a moment. He staggered upright again, and began to hiss, groan, scream when she began her barrage of stabs and slashes; the slashes didn't hurt as much as the stabbing. The smell of his blood reached his nostrils and Daeron wondered, momentarily, how stupid he was at that moment. Sachi didn't seem like she was stopping any time soon - was this a ploy to kill him? He stumbled to one knee when she stabbed him - hard. He gasped out in pain, feeling the blood trinkle down over his body; his chest was mangled. He collasped to the floor fully when she was done and Daeron regretted not trusting her to stop. Daeron barely registered Sachi's voiced concern as he tried to maintain his consciousness. He slowly nodded his head, heart thumping and blood pooling around him. "I'll be okay - you feel better?" He whispered out as he slowly positioned a hand over his wounds and begun healing himself with little energy he had left from the exertion.

Sachi put her bloody knife down and knelt next to Daeron. She was rather afraid she had hurt him too much. He seemed to barely be hanging on to consciousness. She put her hands over one particularly deep stab wound that was bleeding profusely, applying pressure. She saw he was trying to heal himself. "I do feel better," she assured him. "Thank you." She gazed at him with an expression that held affection, and a newfound trust. If felt odd to her that he was willing to risk his life and go through such torture to ease her own torment. As if he really did care about her, a lot. "Um...you can...take some of my energy to heal yourself...if you need to..." That took a lot for her to say. She was naturally such a selfish person, she wouldn't allow anyone to take anything from her. Offering it freely was so strange, but not as hard as she expected.

"Anytime." Daeron hoarsed out, his lips twitching into a small grin. He managed to heal some of the major stabs, save the one that Sachi was now pressuring on. He was glad that she felt better. He was so tired now...on the verge of sleeping, but knew he shouldn't - he hadn't healed himself completely and the loss of more blood would bode ill for him. "What?" He managed to say when he heard what Sachi offered. He slowly nodded again. "Just a little...thanks..." He could barely say as he gently took her energy to heal the major stab wound that was seeping out the most blood, after that, the pain wasn't so bad. Daeron managed to heal himself completely, but now, was terribly exhausted and lying in hs own blood. "Next time...remind me to store some more energy for the healings..." He sighed out as he finally laid himself on his back to regain some strength. "I'm glad you feel better." He said once more before slipping off into a death like slumber.
