OOC: Did Teodora just stuff bread into Tenel Ka's mouth or her own? lol
"Don't linger on the past Tenel Ka, they wouldn't want you to..." Tristan carefully said, knowing that it might cause her to break down in tears again. "We'll just find the Emeralds and everything will be as it should be." He forced out a smile, hoping to comfort her. If not for the tense situation, Teodora's attempt to get Tenel Ka to eat would have made him laugh. Instead, he again encouraged his cousin to eat as well. "You need your strength, Tenel Ka. You won't be able to do much without it..." He brought the food over to her along with water. "Please try and eat."

Tenel Ka stared at the food as her guards and friend tried to coax her to eat. She was repulsed by the sight, whether from her denial of her worth to live, or simply from having not eaten in so long. Still, she slowly took a bunch of grapes and placed one in her mouth, chewing slowly. Once the taste had reached her tounge, she felt herself relaxing and her appetite starting to return. She had to force herself to eat slowly so she wouldn't retch it back up in a few minutes.
"What is our plan, then?" she asked in between bites. "Have we any idea where to find Pyra?"

Tristan released the breath he was unconsciously holding in once Tenel Ka ate something. Granted, it was just a grape, but it was something! Then, slowly, she began to eat. Not wanting her to feel awkward and since Teodora stuffed bread in her mouth, Tristan grabbed some fruit to eat as well. At his cousin's question, he pondered for a moment. "I'm not sure. What if...what if we lay a trap for her? She may still be trying to get to you through me...maybe...we...could.." He let his voice drag out, knowing the reactions from the two women already, but he was willing to sacrifice himself to allow Pyra to get caught. Tenel Ka needed that Emerald and Tristan was going to do whatever it took.

Tenel Ka watched Tristan as he thought of an idea for catching Pyra. She could tell by the expression on his face that she wasn't going to like it.
"You...want to be bait," she said. She grit her teeth together, frustrated. Everything within her screamed out against the idea. She did not want her cousin back in that horrid woman's clutches. The last time nearly killed him! But she knew it might very well be the only way. Getting him captured seemed the only way to draw her out, and he was willing to do it.
"Why do you keep falling on your sword for me, Tristan?" she asked him, her voice breaking. "I know I am your Queen Mother, and your cousin...but even I do not deserve such loyalty as that."

Tristan just shrugged at Tenel Ka's question, as if the answer was quite obvious. And to the Prince it was. "You're family, Tenel Ka. I love you. Do I need any other reason?" He glanced at Teodora and then back at his cousin. "Besides, we're planning my capture this time; we lay the trap, not she. We just need to make sure that it seems worth it to that crazed woman. She's not liking to just appear if she hears my name. I need to make a ruckus...a big one..." Tristan smiled at the thought. He liked making scenes. "Maybe if I took some troops...and a big catapult...I might draw her attention. Plus, I think she's aching to get to me since my last insult to her." His smiled turned proudly devious.
