Your username: Jeriah/Tismri
Character's name: Arcadia Lannister
Character's age: 27
Character's attitude: Arcadia is a powerful and cruel woman, yet very easily poses to be kind. She loves few, trusts none, and does what she can to win. Her father trained her well in the art of nobility, as well as in scheming and plotting. She is not above committing atrocities herself, although if possible she will find someone else to do her dirty work. Though her father taught her to remain as anonymous and apparently unthreatening as possible, she desires to make bolder action.
Character's Race: human
Character's appearance:
Character's allegiance: Shade Uprising
Weapons: Wits, charm, and other manipulations. She also employs hundreds of armed guards sworn to protect her.
Other Info: She has two children who she is bringing up to be deceptive little snakes like herself.
History: Arcadia was born to Lord Vykan during the reign of Galbatorix. Theirs was one of the highest noble families, possessing several estates along with a mansion in the capital. They were cordial rivals with the Tamors, and as such, Arcadia knew Katriana when they were still children.
From a very young age, Arcadia was taught by her father the means by which their family survived among the nobility. Since she was learning how to talk, he made her play strategy games with him to teach her all she would need to know: cunning, deception, distraction. She was severely punished if she ever lost. As she grew older, he taught her how to use these skills in life, sometimes allowing her to accompany him to court so she could see.
When she was sixteen, Arcadia was arranged to marry the young Lord Lannister, barely the same age as she was. He was a naïve fool, and she disliked him immediately. However, she tolerated it for the sake of her family. As the years passed, she never forgot her father's lessons.
Eventually, she had two children of her own. Not long after the younger was born, she arranged to have her despised husband murdered. Using all her charm, she stole vows from her entire household in the ancient language, making them swear undying loyalty and promises to never speak ill against her. Then she proceeded to kill her husband.
Arcadia is now ruler of the entire Lannister estate, and secretly supports her childhood friend, Katriana, by sending her information about Nasuada's state of affairs. She and Kat are also planning on making some bolder steps in the war.
Role Play Sample:
Arcadia sat holding her younger child, rocking gently with a smile. If she could arrange the right marriages, her family could strengthen their grip on Alagaesia, securing a stronger foothold for Katriana's march. Wars were just as easily won through politics as they were through battle.
The land will be yours, my dear friend, she thought, leaning forward to continue writing her letter. The message was encrypted with words and references from their childhood that only Kat would be able to understand. Once it was written, she would give it to servant to encode it further before giving it to her messenger. Arcadia left no room for error in her correspondence, not wanting to risk her life, nor the lives of her children. She was betting on Kat's victory in this, but if ever she changed her mind, she wanted no proof left behind of her intentions.
