Eos flapped as fast as she could, but no matter how fast she flapped, she couldn't quite get past Veryan. She was weighed down with two riders and the sudden presence of Thora and her great bell of a voice startled the young dragon. She instantly slowed ready for the attack, until she realized what was happening. The recent battle had left her more than a little on edge.
Eva rubbed one of Eos's neck scales soothingly. It's all right, heart. She scared me too. Eos took heart and tried to catch up to Veryan, but she had lost too much time in her startled state. The darker dragon zipped past Thora with Eos close behind.
A good race! Thora boomed, her great wings pumping ever so often to keep aloft. The sound they made was that of a thunderclap and an earthquake all at once. It was rather deafening. Now, compose yourselves. Trinn awaits below.
Eva had straightened up in her saddle now that the race was over. Eos soared gently and began circling down towards the sea of green trees. "Good race, Aradan. Eos would like a second chance sometime soon!" She glanced back at Antien and gave him a coy smile. "When she only has one rider to worry about!"
OOC: Ohhhh, I forgot about Arya! omg lol

"Aye, it was a good race!" Aradan agreed as he spiraled down with Veryan; following Eva and Eos as they landed near Master Trinn. Being mindful of Master Thora's advice, Aradan settled his mirth before Veryan landed with a thud, dirt circling the black dragon's talons. He hoped off immediately and gave a quick bow to Master Trinn. "We are ready, Master Trinn." He informed her, having completed the task he was sent to do.
Antien returned Eva's smile with his own, feeling quite light after the burdens of the past weeks. As Eos circled downward, Antien's eyes spotted two familiar figures coming toward the group. "Queen Arya." Antien murmured in Eva's ear, alerting her of the Queen and second Rider of this age's presence.
*** Arya bounded off of Firnen in one elegant swoop and landed easily on her feet. Her presence, along with Firnen's, caused a great commotion amongst the elves that were lingering near. She gave a gentle smile and acknowledged them all (she was thankful that Firnen was near to dissuade any of them to approach; as much as she appreciated her duty, she had no time to endure proper formalities), before stepping toward the Ancient Rider and the younger generation. She had come to see them off before she and Firnen headed toward Illeria - news of the growing unrest was spreading throughout the land and it seemed appropriate to visit Queen Nasuada to discuss strategies before the enemy had time to attack head on. Rumors of disunity continued to grow amongst the Order as well, and fearing another Galbatorix, Arya had hoped to communicate with her long time friend regarding it. She had sent a missive to Nasuada two days prior, announcing her impending arrival properly. She mentally sighed. Not even 16 years of peace had passed before war had come upon them once more. She wished things were different; she wished Eragon and Saphira were here.
Ceasing her personal thoughts before they ran rampant, Arya approached the group.
