OOC: Alrighty. Do you want to put out a starter? Is there a specific character of mine you'd like to have yours interact with or should I just select someone?

OOC: Do you have any ideas for a starter? I'm a bit out of ideas, ack. Probably someone who would have good interaction with the characters I plan to use (Evelyn and Lyra). They are with the dragon rider order, so possibly another rider? You could also read their profile for more information. Sorry I don't have many ideas, haha.

OOC- Already did when you mentioned you had a new character XD. Well, as for good riders, I have Varda and Lucian. Xander's brand new and I'm still getting a feel for him in his intro thread, so I won't put him out as an option. As for generally good characters, Nextith can be added to the list. He's an elven soldier who serves the Riders' cause. A bit of a loner sometimes, but he gets along well with others. Varda's still socially unwilling and a little gloom cloud in general. Lucian's as nice as ever and still having a blast running around with all these young whipper-snappers XD. If you see anyone here that you like specifically, it would give me something to go on for starter writing.

OOC: Aha, then you're farther along than me on this. Lucian is a rider right? He's really old too? I think something interesting could be done with all of them for a few reasons. Evelyn is old(ish) (some two centuries), but she can sometimes be unsure of decisions she makes and she doesn't really have anyone (who sticks around) in her life for advice. She has her dragon, but there is a large age gap between them (Lyra is 15 years) so meeting an experienced dragon could help her too. You also said he's nice too, so I think they would get along.

OOC- Yup, Lucian's like super old, XD. And he's a natural teacher so I think it would work well. I've got play practice now, but if you still don't know about a starter when you get back, I'll try to have one thought up

OOC- In a way. Though, he tries not to see it that way for fear of being patronizing. If you want a character who's just a bit older than her, Nextith is only 300-400, but, he's not a rider.
Any ideas for a starter?

OOC: Gotcha, it would probably make more sense for her to meet Lucian, plus I like his personality. I like to have some sort of antagonist while other stuff is happening for excitement, but I don't have any of those characters at the moment. Other than that I don't have much. Maybe a number of riders can come home to the order after a short fight with shades and something bad could have happened to one (some mystery... of some sort? That your character would try to help with...?) to stir things up a bit? I usually have more ideas. :/

OOC- Well, I do have two antagonists. The mad Rider, Eladan, and the assassin, Sideon. If we went with a number of Riders returning, it could always be that Varda had a class with Eladan. He's always attempting to kill her. Or that Sideon poisoned one. He does so enjoy hunting Riders. Or there's always the random Shade route XD, where one of them was on the receiving end of some seriously bad juju. As the resident kind of round-the-clock elder on staff, Lucian would definitely be the one to intervene and offer assistance.

Anyways, a class? I'm confused. A clash? Hmm "Random Shade Route" XD. Should I have "whatever" happen to Evelyn so that she's not just... on the sidelines and she and Lucian interact? It would have to be some bad stuff for her to be unable to do much O.O
If any antagonist of yours is capable of any kind of bad special poison or "juju" that would be fun too.

OOC- I think so. That way it really kicks off the interaction. As for poisons, Sideon's got a lot. And they're all really nasty. If we wanted to, we could start with Lyra carrying her back to New Doru Arabea and kicking off from there. Or we could write out the skirmish. Or we could write out the skirmish. I could go either way.

OOC: It does. That character could work. Could we write out a portion of the skirmish, near the end, then take the group back to New Doru Arabea? I know it sounds funny, but lay out the post with the current conditions of the fight? You could add a nice character of yours to the group, too, if you wanted.
