Character's name: Selene Fox
Character's age: 21
Character's attitude: Determined, level-headed, stoic, intelligent, calculative, quick learner and improviser. She's the strong silent type. She may be quiet, but she is deadly.
Character's Race: Human
Character's appearance:
Blonde, deep sea blue eyes, 5'8'', well toned, but not muscular. She wears a blackish blue suit, with a black cloak.
Character's allegiance: Empire
Weapons: A claymore (its included with her pic) and two long daggers that are strapped behind her back.
Other Info: She was trained specifically to battle and kill dragons and their riders. She was meant to become a Dragon Slayer.
History: Born in Abernon, but raised in Gil'ead, Selene's mother was killed by Urgals when she was 10. Angry, her father, who was a Captain in the army, swore vengeance on the Urgals. For six years, he taught Selene the sword and military tactics that would enable her to be strong and cunning against any adversary. Soon, Selene made a life as a bounty hunter for Gil'ead when she was 16, after her father was killed in a Urgal ambush.
For four years she was a widely known bounty hunter and even enlisted herself as a dragon slayer when the king was recruiting people to hunt down Eragon.
One night, as she was hunting down Eragon and Roran, she found a strange black stone in the middle of the forest. Upon touching the stone, she felt an odd connection with the black orb, and carried it on her journey, wondering if she could sell it. One night, as she was camping, she discovered the stone was moving. Curious, she touched it and not a moment too soon, the stone broke apart and a small black dragon emerged. Stretching forth her hand, she made a maneuver to touch it when it bit her and gave her the gedwey ignasia. In that moment, the two become one.
Uneasy that she was now a rider, considering her skills as a dragon slayer, she was determined to use those particular skills no longer. However, to her dismay, the King found her skills and her situation intriguing. Now, with the mindset of a slayer and a rider, she is forced to hunt down the Varden Riders and eliminate them, should they refuse to join him.
About a year later, Selene has trained with her dragon and now is proficient in air combat, magic, and archery.
Dragon Name: Slade
Dragon Color: Black
Attitude: The opposite of his rider, Slade is quite arrogant, loud, boastful, proactive, vicious, impatient. He's smart, but doesn't think through things - charges into battle right away.Despite his attitude, he is really protective of Selene. He balances Selene as she does him.
Role Play Sample:
Selene bent down on the ground, examining a dragon footprint.
What do you think? Slade asked with a yawn. He was crouched beside her, wondering what kind of prey he would have for dinner.
Its smaller than you, but strong. You can tell by how much pressure is applied to the ground. Not very graceful...but strong.
Anyone we know?
Perhaps. Selene studied the footprint. She was forced to memorize all the footprints and size of all the dragons on the Empire force. She was fortunate enough to know a little about the Varden Dragons as well, but this one seemed different, but familiar as well.
I have a few guesses...either the dragon grew the last time I looked at her prints...or we have a new dragon to worry about.
Hmm... He nipped at his talon, cleaning some dirt from it.
Interesting... Selene moved forward to look at another set of footprints. It looks like there were two dragons....
Two? Slade looked up with interest.
Yes...and they seem to be headed towards Surda.... She sighed. These are much more larger than any footprint...
An ancient? Slade tilted his head.
It appears so. We'll have to be careful. One fight with a dragon is enough...but with two and one much larger than you....
Bah. you worry too much. I can take them. He huffed.
Selene rolled her eyes. You would think so...nevertheless...we must press on with caution. She jumped onto Slade's foreleg and hopped onto the saddle.
Let's go. She folded her arms and her cloak flew behind her as Slade took flight.
