History: No one knows which town in Ismalia he was born, but they know his parents are still alive and in hiding. Hiding from their son, for fear of being robbed by him. They do not know him as their son anymore. He left them by accident when he was a child when traders came to town. He accidentally got on board one of their wagons and was too scared to get off. While traveling with them, he learned some performing arts and thievery. He earned the title "Shadow Thief" for his shadow magic and thievery. He became prized for his skills, and eventually decided to leave the traders because of the competition. At the age of ten, he started trying to find his parents again. In order to do that, he needs lots of money, and therefore took on the mercenary thief job.
Role Play Sample:
Shadowed by a black cloak, the twelve-year-old genius thief crept closer to the mansion. The man inside had recently cheated the traders. It was a small cheat, but big enough to get the traders furious. So they sent Ceratum to get what the man stole back.
Ceratum counted the guards and smiled. Three? Don't they know that isn't enough to hold me back? He slid forward softer than a night breeze.
As he came across an armor-less guard, he hit the man's pressure points, knocking him out. He continued without a pause. Popping a window open, he entered the mansion. Ten minutes to get the jewel back... or enough money to compensate. He could do it.
And he did.
The guards never knew what happened until the next morning, when the safe was empty but for a small note. "Thanks for the compensation." ~ Shadow Thief.
