Character's name: Cora
Character's age: 23
Character's attitude: Cora is a very strict captain. Strict, but fair. She does not tolerate any sort of mischief or laziness. When the crew behaves and performs well, she often rewards them with an extra crown or an extra ration of grog. Cora is smart, tough, and usually calm and collected. She's found it neccesary to be a bit brutal as a female captain at points, as some of the men do not take kindly to obeying a woman. By now, however, her crew is loyal to her.
Character's Race: Human
Character's appearance:
Without all that armor though. Not very practical for the sea.
Character's allegiance: Neutral
Weapons: Cutlass.
Other Info:
History: Cora was born in Tierm and given at an early age to the empire navy. Her parents simply weren't expecting a child and couldn't raise her. At first, she would have been rejected, but Cora was stalwart even as a child and proved good sailor material. Thus she was accepted. She quickly became a first lieutenant, and her becoming captain was imminent. The ship she served on, the Reliant, soon came across a pirate ship and captured her. The crew was sent to the gallows and Cora given the ship, the new captain. The ship, Valiant, was made for speed but was well equipped with canons. Soon Cora collected a good crew, and a loyal one. However, Cora was never exactly fond of Galbatorix's navy. She hated the tyrant, and loved the sea. There was only one logical choice. Go rogue. Her crew didn't object, and soon Cora was a mercenary pirate, with one rule. No killing! They were pirates, but not murderurs.
Role Play Sample: "Captain, ship in sight!" Shouted a man from the crows nest. "East as the wind blows!" Marching to the the rail of Valiant, Cora took a small telescope from a pocket and gazed to th east. Large white sails could be seen in the distant, as well as the hull of the ship. The name Breaker could be made out in gilded gold. A small, satisfied smile tugged up her mouth.
"That's our mark, gentlemen. Steersman, hard to starboard! We'll take this beauty with ease!" Sails snapped taught as the Valiant turned with ease, water spraying as the prow cut the sea. Collapsing the telescope, Captain Cora stowed in back in the pocket. Turning away from the rail, she stepped to the deck of the prow, grabbing some rigging for support. Her other hand she rested behind her back, waiting in practiced patience to draw in close to their victim.
ACCEPTED!! haha
