I'm going to reboot her. Though sadly Backa hasn't been around, so I'll have to reform her into a stand-alone character.
Character's name: Sakura
Character's age: 17
Character's attitude: Sakura has inherited something unique from each of the most influential people in her life, and they all affect her overall attitude. From her mother Jeriah, she has a sweet, caring spirit and a love of song and dance. From her father Lathem, she has a supreme love for her family. From Zamah, she has a sense of humor and a playful nature. And lastly from Oranthor she has an almost over-protectiveness of her entire family and will do anything to keep them safe. In general she is carefree and happy, but the current situation of the world is making her focus beyond her family. She loves folding paper to resemble various things (aka origami), particularly flowers.
Character's Race: human (She has been blessed by mysterious dragon magic, which will possibly extend her life and practically make her elven.)
Character's appearance:
Sakura has an unusual appearance. In face, she somewhat resembles her father, while the rest of her is more like her mother. She has purple hair that perfectly matches Zamah's scales, and amber-orange eyes that are just like Oranthor's scales used to be. The reasons for her resemblance to the dragons is still unknown, but Jeriah believes that they must have had some influence on her growth.
Character's allegiance: Her family, Queen Nasuada and the Riders
Weapons: magic. She neither needs nor cares for any other weapons.
Other Info: Sakura's magic is particularly strong, almost matching even the greatest of elves. Jeriah believes this is due to some sort of influence the two dragons had on her, though there is no real hard evidance for this.
History:
Sakura was born to Jeriah and Lathem before the end of the war against Galbatorix. Jeriah had returned to Alagaesia to help finish the fight, feeling a responsibility toward her home. They were surprised to see, though, that Sakura's hair was an unusual violet color, and when she opened her eyes, they were a bright amber-orange. Neither of them could think of an explanation for this, and when the questioned the dragons, Oranthor and Zamah were both just as amazed. They admited, though, to have touched her consciousness while Jeriah was carrying her. Soon after her birth, Lathem and Zamah mysteriously vanished without a trace.
As she grew, Sakura displayed very interesting personality quirks that greatly resembled not only her parents, but also the dragons. Also, she showed a great affinity toward magic, being able to master many tecniques at an amazing rate. Because of her incredible ability, Katriana will likely have a vested interest in trying to sway the girl to her side.
Once the war was over, Jeriah moved to Bromsland, bringing young Sakura and Oranthor's eldunari with her, so she and her bond could be teachers to the younger generation of Riders. Thus, Sakura grew up surrounded by dragons and Riders. Her magical talent was fostered by her mother, and now she is even able to teach what she knows to her peers.
Recently, she has been travelling back and forth between Alagaesia and Bromsland, and as she passes through the desert, she carefully and gingerly spies on the Shade's encampment, reporting their movements to both Queen Nasuada and the leaders in Bromsland.
Role Play Sample:
Sakura smiled as she sniffed the air, staring up at the cherry tree that was in full bloom. She remembered how her mother once told her she and her brother were born under a blossoming cherry tree like this one, which is how she got her name. It was for that reason that the cherry blossom was one of her favorite flowers.
Sitting down beneath the tree, she took out a piece of bright pink paper and began folding it, singing softly to herself as she did. Moments later, what had once been a plain paper had become an almost perfect rose, which she promptly placed in her hair.
"Sakura!" she heard her mother call.
"Coming, Mom!" she replied, standing up and quickly skipping over to her family.
