The New Plot hasn't been revealed yet. Trinn is just waiting for the right time and for everyone to settle their own subplots in preparation for the upcoming site plot. I can't give any spoilers, however, I can say this: it will definitely change things. =p

Awesome I really don't have anything going on with my characters just developing Ren a little bit and Huor has already had experience with the war, can't wait for this plot! I finished the Inheritance cycle just the other day so I'm full of Eragon knowledge

Personally I think you should consider what the characters are going to be like after the series...just to keep that in mind...
