Tyr frowned at Marola's remark. That would be like stopping the sun from shining...it just couldn't be done!

"Fine." Einar didn't care at the moment, he only wanted to get this job done.
Try anything human and I'll bite your head off.Stigandr eyed Tyr evily.
"I love you too." Tyr smirked as he hopped onto the back of the saddle, after Einar was on. Taking off, Einar pointed towards the north. "We'll head that way." and with that, they headed north.

Kalri closed her eyes as she felt a distant threat growing larger. She turned to look at Mar. "They are coming. Whatever Marola did she is now fine and the group has resumed their hunt. We will have to continue on." Her eyes grew distant as she thought of the possible outcomes of capture. It was becoming more and more clear that she would have to part from Mar if he were to have a chance at freedom. She leaned forward and kissed him softly on the forehead as her lips whispered, "Sleep!" She held him as she felt the magic take him into peaceful slumber. Tears fell from her eyes as she held him close to her, kissing his lips softly before she eased him down onto the ground. She called forth the foliage around him as she placed wards to block his presence from any who may happen near.
Kalri rose slowly from her knees and looked to Sabonth. 'We must go love. The others come in pursuit.' She raised a hand to her cheeks, wiping the tears from her face. Her heart was breaking but she knew she had to do it. Kalri walked slowly to Sabonth, climbing up the offered leg and settling into the saddle. Sabonth said nothing, could do nothing except let Kalri feel her love for her through their bond. Kalri reached out and stroked the black dragons smooth scales along her neck. "Take to the skies my friend."
Sabonth gave a slight nod of her head as she blew a jet of fire and lithely took to flight. Kalri looked back down once more as the distance grew between her and her love. Her heart ripped in two as she left and she felt her anger rising. She could feel Legion stirring in the depths of her soul. 'Legion. You are defeated. I give you choice. Join with me as one and we will do great things together or die. I will push you so far down into darkness that you will never again feel the light of day.'
Legion stirred chaotically within her. They knew that she had finally embraced the power needed to carry out her threat. 'Very well,' Legion conceded reluctantly. 'We join as one and live together united.'
