Mar blushed, smiling at Kalri's words. "I love you too," he said, smacking her rear and mounting his horse. He laughed, then spurred his horse towards the city.

Kalri jumped slightly as he slapped her rear. She smiled and mounted her horse following him for a while, watching him on top of the horse. She heeled it gently to bring it in line with his. Together they rode on toward Teirm.

Mar smiled over at Kalri, sending her his emotions, his love. He turned his eyes forward, looking out over the wide plains and rolling hills. The land was beautiful. He had never truly stopped to look at it before, always being on the move, until he met Kalri. She had changed his life, his world, in more ways than one, and he would always be grateful.

Kalri smiled softly, feeling his emotions and his love. She watched him as they rode. Her own feelings growing deeper as her love for him grew. In such a short time, she had changed, he had changed her into a new person. “I love you.” She said softly under her breath.

Mar heard her speaking and turned to look at her. "I love you too," he said, smiling. They continued to ride through the day, meeting nothing of interest until they saw the walls of the city.

Kalri grew excited as she saw the walls of the city. "Is that it?" she asked him as she stood slightly in the stirrups as if to get a better view. Her wonder shown on her face as she looked ahead. She had never been further out than the coven.

Mar reached over to Kalri and placed his hand on her arm. "Yes, it is," he said with a chuckle. "Relax. You'll see it soon enough." He looked over into her eyes. "And I've heard they have very nice beds." He blushed, then laughed, spurring his horse into a comfortable gallop.

Kalri spurred her horse until her gait matched Mar's. She smiled as she tilted her head looking mischievously. "You've heard huh?" she laughed softly.

Mar looked at Kalri, smiling. "Yes, I've heard but never found out myself," he said, winking at her. "But I intend to find out." He laughed, pulling a loaf of bread from his pack and giving Kalri a half.

Kalri took the bread and ate. She smiled at Mar as he spoke of the beds in the city. "I look forward to trying them out." She grinned slightly and looked at the city in the distance.

Mar greeted the guards at the gates, bidding them have a good day as they passed. He looked over at Kalri as they rode casually through the streets, not heading for anywhere in particular. "So, where did you want to go first?" he asked. "The docks? The inn? A restaurant?"

Kalri smiled as they rode into the city. "Yes." she answered in response to his questions. She motioned to an inn on the shore near the edge of the city. Her smile widened as she saw it and turned to look at him. "What do you think. It looks as if it would be quite....relaxing." She laughed softly as she rode beside him. Her knee lightly brushing against his as the horses walked closer to each other through the city streets.

"Yes, it does look relaxing," he said, watching her ride out of the corner of his eye, smiling at her beauty. "And I think the location and beds should make it even more relaxing." He smiled at her, winking. He touched her knee with his hand, giving it a soft squeeze.

Kalri smiled at him as he winked and gently squeezed her knee. "Shall we check in and stow our gear?" She looked at the ocean as they neared the inn. It was wide and vast, seeming to go on forever. She smiled as she breathed in the salty air.

Mar smiled at Kalri, dismounting his horse and tying it to the post outside the inn. "We can check in and store our things, then go get something to eat," he said, smiling up at Kalri.
