Caleb slowly rounded the corner, knowing the general would be undressing from his armor. Caleb thought about his promise. "Balvir, I will avenge my family." he told his dragon. "I know you will my friend, and your all clear from here." Balvir replied. Caleb waited on his oppurtunity to strike. He was hired to get info for the Varden higher ups. He saw his oppurtunity to strike and jumped in the window, pulling his dagger from it's sheath. "Tell me your plans General" Caleb demanded. Before the old man could answer, a powerful mind came from seemingly nowhere and the old man's body fell limp with death. Caleb hated that the man had died, but combed through the recent images and found the information he was looking for. He threw the corpse down and left, jumping onto Balvir's back before the mind could find him and do the same to him.

The shadow flew, silently on the still of the night, a mere flicker against the dark of the night sky. Turning toward the direction of the general's quarters, Kalri watched from high atop Sabonth. The only thing visible of the massive black dragon was her red eyes and the red star-shaped scale upon her forehead. She felt the presence enter the general's quarters. Knowing that the general would betray the Empire to the power of the presence, she killed him with a death word from the ancient language. She hoped that she had found the threat in time before any information was lost. As she watched she saw a Rider emerge upon his dragon. Watching she thought to herself, 'A varden Rider. This may just be a fun night afterall Sabonth.' The black dragon snarled at the thought of action. Kalri watched, her long brown hair flowing behind her on the wind. Her brown eyes, intent as the golden flames danced across them.

Nerasa and Marflamel flew over and was watching a few people and making sure everything was going to be alright. She hadn't been with the varden for a long time. A hundred years and that was because she needed a break from them and she was tired of the assignments. She looked down and noticed the dead general and then she had to look for the source of the attack though she was farther away from the scene she had excellent eye sight.
"We should find the source then hunt them down. These people are what you faught for and I think you should rejoin the varden and help them." said Marflamel.
"I know I should but I remember what happened and I don't want that. At least not yet." said nerasa as she scanned the area.

Caleb flew quickly to the rendevous (sp?) point, but turned before he got there. He felt the presence of another Rider behind him, but didn't stop to turn to find friend or foe. He quickly told Balvir to land in a clearing and he jumped behind a tree, sheilding his mind and pulling his sword from it's sheath at his hip. "Be ready Balvir, you know what to do" Balvir acknowledged the command, and slowly rose into the sky, ready to help his Rider if needed.

Kalri watched as the Rider landed and his dragon resumed flight. Taking her sword from the sheath on her back, she looked at it in the moonlight. The silver glistened in the light. She ran her finger down the blade coming to the guard where the two dragons appeared to be flying out from it's center. The pommel formed in the image of dragon claw holding an orb. She raised the sword in front of her face, looking ahead toward the Rider. A vision of her black dragon with a solitary red eye reflected on its surface. Sabonth flew low as Kalri dropped from her side, landing in crouched position as she surveyed the area for her foe.

Nerasa noted two dragon riders flying one landed and the other fallowed.
'lets fallow but be careful we don't want to cause problems. at least not yet.' said Nerasa as marflamel did as she asked. They circled around the area making note of everything.
'get close enough to the ground so I can jump off but don't get to close for i fear that they are empire riders.' said Nerasa and she jumped off marflamel as he got close to the edge of the clearing or just out side of it so she could jump off.
Nerasa walked to the clearing making sure that she was hidden in the shadows and kept very silent making no noise.

Caleb heard the other Rider land, then he looked overhead to see another dragon flying around. "Balvir, don't attack unless I say." "Aye Caleb. I won't, but I will kill to get to you, you know that." Caleb acknowledged Balvir, and slowly scanned the area for the other Rider. Caleb, his ears tuned by years of hunting people down, heard a third pair of dragon's wings. He became nevous, he didn't stand a chance against two Empire Riders.

Slowly, Kalri stalked to where she knew the Rider to be. She heard another Rider close but concentrated on the main threat to her. Sword at the ready she shouted to the male Rider. "Hello my friend. I take it you want to come out and play with Kalri?" The evil smile played on her lips as the fire danced in her eyes.

"Play my friend, I think not. Talk, maybe." Caleb said, coming out of the bushes, pushing his sword back into it's sheath. "We don't have to fight, but I can almost guarente you that you would fall to my blade." Caleb said, smiling the whole time. He extended his palm, his gedwey ignasia showing in a sign of friendship.

Kalri lowered her sword, slightly. Looking at the Riders Gedwey Ignasia and seeing his essence but nothing else she made him as Varden. Her voice resonated with the evil within her. "Don't be so confident my...friend. My blade has never failed me." She saw his sign of friendship and ignored it. Holding her hand out in front of her as if motioning for him to stop, she showed him the blackened mist slowly writhing through her Gedwey Ignasia. "I much prefer play over talk." She eyed him carefully for his response as she felt where his dragon was as well as the other dragon and rider and Sabonth. 'Sabonth do not attack unless I say.' Reluctantly Sabonth agreed.

"Well I like to know people before I play with them. What's your name, and your dragon's name, and where do you come from?" Caleb asked. He knew that he was stalling for time, but he had to bide his strenght if it came down to a fight.

Mar walked through the forest, knowing his charge was somewhere close by, and with another rider. He moved as a shadow, silent as night.

Nerasa hid behind a tree watching the two people yip at each other and they were driving her mad because nothing really was happening.
"marflamel careful and attack when I say so for I think they are stalling their dragons but if you must attack then do so." said Nerasa.
"So playing a little game I see." thought nerasa.

As for where I am from," she looked at him fiercely, the molten fires of Helgrind itself danced in her eyes, "well that is not important either. She circled him slowly, not advancing just watching him. The evil black mist of her magic now writhing up her arms to her shoulders as it snaked its way about her form.

Nerasa kept watching and getting tired of just doing that. She was just wondering who this person was though she didn't want to know in a way but in a way she did.
