Kalri smiled at him as she took him close into her embrace. "I can think of but one that is foremost on my mind my love." Her eyes sparkled as she lingered on the thoughts within her mind. Her hands rubbing softly upon his skin.

Caleb laughed and rubbed her back, pulling her into a passionate kiss. "I want to do that as much as anyone Kalri.". He pulled her to him, just holding her body against his, reveling in the embrace.

Kalri lay within Caleb's embrace. Her feelings for him overflowing. "Caleb. I will help you. What would you have me do?" She did not look into his eyes as she struggled with the betrayel she felt within her.

"I will not have you do anything that you don't want to Kalri, or anything that will put your life in danger" he said. He looked into her eyes, tilting her head making sure she saw he meant the truth.

Kalri looked deeply into Calebs eyes. She saw the truth in his words to her. "My heart lies with you. My body yours alone. I fear nothing as long as I have your love." She reached up to push the hair back from his face. The longing shown in her eyes. Her body tensed as he held her within his embrace. Her breath quickened as she felt her heart begin to race wildly. "I will do whatever you ask of me. I love you Caleb!" Her lips met his passionately as she lost herself within the feel of his arms.

They finished their embrace, "I want you to live no matter the cost to me. If my mission fails, I want you to deliver the egg to the Varden, even if it's you that has to kill me. I want you to swear to me that you will do it Kalri." he said fericely.

Kalri looked in Caleb's eyes. His gaze was as fierce as the conviction of his words. She felt the tears within her eyes as she nodded her head to him. She kissed him softly as her tears flowed.

Kalri felt pain such as she had never known. She looked at Caleb as he pushed for her to make her oath to him. "I swear it." she said as she shook with the gravity of the oath she had just sworn. She held tight to him as her tears silently fell. "Now what?"

"Now we just hold each other, then we make a plan." Caleb said. It had almost torn him in two for Kalri to make that oath, but it had to be done, no matter what.

Kalri held tight in Caleb's embrace. She wanted so much to think of nothing, just enjoy her time with him but the weight of her oath lay heavy upon her. Her thoughts raced as she thought of Mar and her father. How could she hide her feelings from either of them. Mar didn't even know that she was faking her amnesia. Kalri spoke softly. "I do love you Caleb. Remember that no matter what may happen."

"And with that love, we shall conquer all. I will never forget Kalri." Caleb said. He didn't want anything to change, but he knew things must go back to how they were.

Kalri stood and found her clothes. She made to put them on. Caleb’s words to her sounded final, like goodbye. “I guess I had better go find Mar.” She turned to look at Caleb, lying upon the ground. “Why do your words sound as if you are leaving?”
