Character's name: Uafan (A-fun)
Character's age: 16
Character's attitude: Uafan is just a regular guy who isn't a rider or a soldier or really anything important, he is just there at the right time to comfort when he needs to. Some think he's a magician but really, he is just there whenever he is needed. He has the kind of personality that girls hate; he's sweet. He doesn't have many friends, but he likes lifting the moods of someone who's down.
Character's Race: Human
Character's appearance: He wears a dark green tunic, baggy black pants, and knee-high brown leather boots. Jet black hair to his shoulders and piercing green eyes, that match his tunic, top off his look. He keeps his hair in a pony tail with a green leather strap and has a clean face.
Character's allegiance: Varden, I suppose
Weapons: A short sword strapped to his waist.
Other Info: He has a younger brother the age of 7, Yavan, (Yay-ven) who Uafan lives with in a small house beside the courtyard of Lady Nasuade in Aberon.
History: Uafan was raised a normal child, with two normal parents and a pesky little brother. That all changed when his father went off to fight for the Varden and his mother went to visit some family in Teirm. His father fought in the Burning Plains battle and was killed by one of the twins, word coming back to Uafan and Yavan weeks after their father's death. Their mother never came back home from her visit to Teirm. Uafan took the role as the money maker and at this young age, there is not much work to be found, besides digging ditches. Uafan became a very positive person after his parents death and saved Yavan from depression. They both had to drop out of school, there being no more money coming into the family. Uafan wanders the streets looking for work while Yavan wanders the streets begging for money and food. Uafan and Yavan are getting poorer and poorer and soon they will be living on the streets, until one of them finds work.
Role Play Sample: Uafan looked at the man, a longing to comfort him starting in the pit of his stomach slowly crawling up to his eyes, causing him to shed a tear. He stepped towards the man, then stepped back. I have work to find. I can't dwell on this guy. The thought stayed in his mind a while before he pushed it aside. He flopped down beside the man, hearing his muffled sobs. He looked at the man's strange blue-gray hair and scrunched his forehead up. "Are you........are you related to a man named, uh, Ganer?" The man looked up at Uafan, his face red and streaked with tears. Ignoring Uafan's question, he asked, "Who are you?" Uafan grinned, sticking his hand out to shake the man's hand. The man glanced at Uafan's hand and frowned. He turned away and looked at the wall across the alleyway. Uafan cleared his throat and lowered his hand, still studying the man. "I'm Uafan. I, uh, live over by Lady Nasuada's quarters." After a few moments, the man spoke again in a quiet voice. "I know of a man named, Ganer. We were....pretty good friends. Kind of like brothers." Uafan looked into the man's red eyes as he turned back to Uafan. "You look a lot like him." The man squinted his eyes and frowned. "How do you know him?" Uafan chuckled a little bit and looked into the busy streets a few feet away from where he sat. "He's my cousin."
