"Yes Mammon!" Ren said with renewed energy. Today is the day to stand by Belgabad, we are out matched at the moment, this Therin seems more powerful than I previously thought. May be I should have brought the Eldunari. Ren says to Belgabad. Belgabad growls in affirmation continuing his descend at a slower pace then he had before. This Ancient seems off, I sense that he is old, far older than even Galbatorix. We should tread carefully Little one, I may not be able to protect you from him. Belgabad said looking up at the Ancient and his dragon. Ren looks down at his bond, You don't have to worry Belgabad, today may be counted as a loss but I swear on the Empire that next time will be different. Ren said his eyes glowing with subdued hatred.

I myself was skeptical at the time but I now know you are a powerful ally to the Empire and that this Rider is a fool to have angered you." Ren said as Belgabad flapped his massive wings once more his black head fixed on the ever growing village that Therin stands within.

"Anger me? No this is nothing personal just another assignment that demanded my attention." Mammon explained as Baal's colossal form landed on a house crushing it under his weight. "Baal kill the townspeople until the scum shows his face." Mammon coldly ordered his bond. Begrudgingly Baal obliged covering the people in flames. "Follow my lead their deaths will draw him out." Mammon said with a cruel smile, secretly he was enjoying their deaths.

Ren watched with unconcerned eyes for he knew what must be done to bait the quarry into fighting them. Belgabad watches Baal with an uncertain gaze, confused at the displeasure the dragon takes in dispatching the townspeople. Surely dragon you've done worse than this? Belgabad says gesturing at the burning corpses. Ren looks at the fire wondering where Therin was hiding.

I suggest you leave as soon as this battle is over, for your own sakes." Baal warned Belgabad in anguish over the senseless killings.
Mammon's yellow eyes became less human as he watched the corpses burn, they began to slit like a cat's eyes. "Come out you scum or I will burn this entire village down. Just like I did that useless boy Welden's home." Mammon bellowed into the empty street.

Belgabad looked at Mammon with a new sense of foreboding, Ren I believe that this Ancient is indeed a mad man. We should tread cautiously little one. Belgabad says as he sets one of the many houses a blaze trying to burn Therin out of hiding.

(Sorry for not being on for a few days)
When someone told a person to grab Knurl and run he did a very stupid choice. He jumped over to a nearby wall and grabbed onto the side. The next thing he knew was that guards were coming from both sides. Knurl got Narag and Shrrg ready for battle.

Belgabad nods his large head, seeing the dwarf. Growling he alerts Ren to the scum who had started this whole mess. Jumping off of Belgabad's back Ren strides forward drawing his black rider sword in preparation to finish what the Dwarf started.

Knurl had atleast killed half of the guards while the rest ran. Then a knight who rode a dragon jumped off his dragon and landed near him. "I am not scared of you." Knurl said as he charged into battle. With all of his might he swung Shrrg at the rider's knee.

Ren jumped clean over the dwarf, slightly impressed by the dwarves bravery. "Your brave, but a fool!" Ren said slashes at the dwarf's side but quickly changes his aim towards his shoulder!

Knurl did not see the attack coming and lost his grip on Shrrg. "Your stronger the othe guards but you will share the same fate." Knurl said jumping with Narag and attempted to hit him right in the chest.

Ren grinned under his black hood, with one hand he caught the dwarf's weapon. "Dwarf your a fool, you dare fight a Dragon Rider!" Ren says before jabbing at the Dwarf with his rider sword!
