"Whoa!" Creel said, taking a hand off of Ciraph's spike to hold on to Raine to keep her from falling off when they hit the turbulent air. When it was calm again, he grabbed back onto the spike. Wouldn't want our pretty friend here falling, would we, Ciraph? Creel said with a laugh,Try to keep to the calmer air, please?

Raine smiled, then turned her head so Creel could hear her yell. "So Creel! Where do you originally come from!"

I'm from Ellesmera, Creel said to Raine mentally,I lived there for several years until I decided the overly polite Elven society wasn't for me. So...I left. Now, I fight with the Varden to bring down Galbatorix.

Raine turned her head fully around to look at him, head on. She smiled, inspecting his eyes, then turned back to her original stance. I was also born in Ellesmera. My father...I remember, he was of great importance. He was...beautiful. A different beautiful than any other elf. And I remember...this guy. This male-elf. He was...as magnificently beautiful as my father. He was the same age as me...I remember... She stopped for a moment, noticing her falling tears. I remember....no more...
OCC: Okay, so here is this crazy plan I made up a few days ago. Oromis is her father, as well as Sorrel's, and she and Sorrel are really twins and like 100 years old. Oromis wanted to protect them and their mother from an attack not too far from where they lived, so he sent them out of Du Weldenvarden, but not before changing all of their appearances. Their mother he made look like a young, human mother of a little baby. Sorrel. He made Raine look like a little toddler human girl, then had Sorrel not be able to look like he was aging so that Raine would end up being 15 years older than Sorrel. Weird eh?

Creel nodded his head, understanding Raine's pain. It's okay, he said,Don't worry about it. Don't even think about it. I'm sure you're not the first to be unable to remember everything about their life.

Raine nodded, gently pulling away his mind, but not enough as they could not share words. She whispered only two words before departing. I'm sorry... She watched as the forest she had only minutes ago been lost in whip by underneath Ciraph's masculine body. She gently leaned into Creel's embrace, but not enough for most people to notice. She hoped he did not...

Creel felt a small pit well up in his throat as Raine said she was sorry. Sorry for what? he asked her, smiling and letting go of Ciraph's spike with one hand to wrap it around her in a hug, holding her tight,Dont' worry, Raine. I'll help you find your brother, ok? I'll stay with you until we find him. I promise you.

OCC: Lol! Why, thank you! I dream creepily every night. lol
Raine smiled, leaning her head back on Creel's shoulder, closing her eyes. Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me...Nobody has ever...cared like that before except Sorrel.

Creel smiled Well, I can't leave you wandering around the whole of Alagaesia when there's a way going on, can I? You might accidentally get caught in the middle of a battle and get killed. I wouldn't want that. He nudged her head with his shoulder, grinning as he did,Now just go ahead and relax. We have a little while longer to go until we reach Ellesmera, so go ahead and sleep if you want.

Raine smiled slightly, then closed her eyes, falling into an endless abyss of dreams.

Creel, Ciraph, and Raine landed in the middle of Ellesmera, Ciraph's wings whipping up a large whirlwind through the trees. He gently nudged Raine awake as they landed. "Raine, cmon, wake up," he said,"We're here in Ellesmera," he said,"Time to help you find your brother."

Raine jumped when Creel awoke her, forgetting where she was and who she was with. After a few moments of blankly looking into Creel's eyes, she finally recognized him. "Oh. Right. Thank you, Ciraph," Raine looked at Ciraph, "for carrying my weight when you didn't have to. I appreciate it. And, Creel," she raked her eyes over him, but with a certain gentleness that she'd never used before, "thank you for letting my drool on your shoulder." She half-smiled, cocking her head a little, then slid down Ciraph's leg. Once she landed at the bottom, she stretched out her back and limbs, patiently waiting for Creel.

Creel smiled at Raine gently and absently mindedly brushed a strand of hair out of her face, as she looked at him and laughed when she mentioned drooling on his shoulder. "Its okay," he said,"When you've been doused in dragon drool, it's hardly anything to have a half-elf drooling on your shoulder." Hey! That isn't fair! I was still little more than a hatchling when that happened! ciraph said, feigning mock anger so that both Creel and Raine could hear. Creel laughed at Ciraph's comment and slid down his leg next to Raine. "Why don't you go find yourself some food, Cir'," he said,"I'll help Raine begin her search for her brother." All right, Ciraph said,Let me know when you need to leave. Always. Happy hunting. As Ciraph lifted off of the ground with a lou drush of wind, Creel turned to Raine and said,"So, where do we start?"

Raine froze, her mind blanking. She blinked a couple times, then held her head in her hands, her good mood quickly extinguished. Looking into Creel's eyes made her happy and she just couldn't handle that right now. "I don't know, Creel. I can't remember my father's name..." She looked up, tears beginning to form. Creel's dark brown eyes comforted her in a strange way. She wiped the tears that had flowed over, then stood up straight. "The only thing that will help us is the fact that neither does Sorrel." **************************************************************************** Sorrel walked in a sort of daze, winding between trees as small plants seemed to grab at his legs and make it harder for him to walk. He had to find his father. He had to. Reku tramped through the tall grass beside him, every once in a while wrapping his tail around Sorrel's leg. Thade was, of course, missing from the usual "Troublesome Trio." They walked on, not knowing that they were in the Menoa Tree's territory. Sorrel, we've been walking for days. Your eyes are like racoons; as black and droopy as a wild animal's. Your movements are that of the living dead. We don't even know what we're looki- Sorrel whipped his head down to meet Reku's gaze, a fiery gold color instead of his usual lavender filling his eyes. We are looking for my father. I know what I'm looking for. Do you? Hate filled his voice and Reku shivered at the spirits' voices. I'm looking for the real you. These spirits are not yo- ENOUGH! Reku moved a couple feet away, then blocked his mind from Sorrel's possessed one. And they walked on.
