The Ayati were settled for a few days at the very edge of the forest of Du Weldenvarden. Generally, the tribe stayed out of the ominous trees, ancient tales of the supposedly haunted wood having been passed down for generations. Natalya was afraid of the place. There was darkness and magic inside, and many things she didn't trust. She rather wished they would avoid this place altogether. But she knew the choice wasn't hers to make. She glanced around at the other members of the tribe. Some of them wore the same nervous expression she did, but many of them seemed rather relaxed. They seemed to think the place was safe enough. She knew she would just have to trust in the tribal elders to protect them.

Rashid stood at the edge of the tribe, staring into the forest. He felt pulled there, eager to explore it. He knew that some of the tribal members were scared of this place, but he didn't. He didn't have the luxury to fear it; he had to protected the tribe. Turning his head slightly toward the middle of the tribe, Rashid scanned them briefly, wondering when they would begin moving. He also wondered where his best friend was. No doubt with Kunin. He thought sadly. Ever since Kunin came back...no, long before that. Chirlai seemed...distant. He sighed. He wanted his friend back, but she was happy, so he didn't say anything to her. As he continued to scan, he spotted Natayla not far off. He gave a mental shudder, that girl was annoying. He sighed again; he shouldn't think ill of other members. He turned his face back to the forest, wondering if there were any good game. He smiled. The tribe wouldn't mind if he caught something for dinner. He slipped in, unnoticed, his image melding in with its surroundings.

Vivian and Liberty were running through the forest sparring while Kane flew over head giving both of them tips now and then but for the most part he just watched and enjoyed. They continued this way for a while until Kane noticed they were headed towards the edge. He alerted the other then noticed that there was a group of strangers. HAULT! There is a group of strange people ahead. We can still sneak up on them and see who they are. Kane shifted his wings quietly as he got the response from Vivian. They both connected their eyes so they were seeing the same thing. All of them saw one of the people separate and wander into the forest. Liberty turned to head back to warn the others when Vivian stopped her and whispered "What is the point of warning our people when they can't get that far into the forest." She took off into the forest without waiting for a reply from her sister or Kane.
