Taran was agitated to be surrounded but not one, but three dragon riders. He kept mainly to himself for many hours, only returning to the others to offer assistance. He did notice one of them, the first he had met, Nerasa, sitting alone, looking rather distraught. Tara decided to take courage and walk to her, though he never let his hand fall from his sword. "Hello, what is troubling you? I see you cannot sleep, neither can I."

"Hi. Its just that I am worried about getting to the other's dragon who was captured. I mean I was thinking about many ways of getting to the dragon but none of them are good enough to get to the dragon and save him." said Nerasa who looked up at taran who approached her.
"I feel so bad that the dragon was taken from him though I have lost those I love but I don't know how we could possibly save him from the suffering. how can we possibly rescue the dragon without being detected?" asked nerasa.

Taran sat beside the dragon rider, trying to remain as comfortable as possible in being in such close proximity to a rider. "Well, I think I may be able to help in that department. I spent many days around Uru'baen, as well as some other such places in the Empire, and I know how and where to enter without being seen. It wouldn't do well for an elf to be seen in the king's city, now would it?" Taran laughed a heartfelt laugh, a genuine smile playing on his lips.

a smile played on Nerasa's lips. She never usually smiled but she had to show that she was at least laughing.
"Yeah your right. That would be great if you could possibly get into there. What if you possibly got in there and disguised as an improtant person and you said you needed to see the dragon maybe you could free it. Who knows if that would work anyway." said Nerasa.

Taran lost his smile at Nerasa's words. He never thought he himself would have to enter the city, only tell the others how. Memories floated across his vision, not all desired. "Oh," he said, looking up at the stars. "I don't know how that would work. It would be fairly difficult to put me into a disguise. I don't believe I could pass for one of the kings men....unless...this may sound cruel, but it may work. I could disguise myself as a torturer and use that status to get to the dragon and free it. It is far fetched, but it just may work. We'll have to converse with the others first, of course."

"true but you won't have to go alone. I could disguise myself and fallow you in as well but its just vag enough to work. If we do, do this and the others agree, we need to create another plan just in case it doesn't work." said Nerasa.

Taran nodded, agreeing with Nerasa's words. He stood to stretch his legs. The moon has high in the sky, its light enough to see for many miles across the open terrain. "Would you like some hot tea? I was going to get myself some, would you want any?" 'Easy, Taran,' his horse Narth told him. 'She IS a rider, you know? Don't be fooled by her looks.' 'Oh, soosh, Narth. I just offered to get her some tea. It's not a declaration of love or anything.' The horse neighed and chopped at the sand, eyeing Taran carefully.

"That would be great. I haven't had any for a while now. So what have you been up to that makes you travel all the way here?" asked Nerasa curiously.
"I have been traveling for a while but have been doing some assignments for the varden. other then that nothing much." she continued.

Taran returned with the drinks, the steam billowing softly from hot liquid. Handing one to Nerasa, Taran took his seat beside her, looking briefly at Narth. He sipped slowly from his tea before answering. "Well, I've always been one to wander the world. I was born in Ellesmera, but I never truly felt at home anywhere. I was just starting to go through here when I saw you dive from the sky. So, I came over to see what was going on."

Aethelwyne watched from the dune as the inhabitants of the makeshift camp continued about their business. Edoc'sil asked 'Do you think they know we are watching?' 'Come on Doc. Does it matter. We have no contracts at this time. Let's just enjoy our time off and play for awhile.' They had been very busy as of late. Her work for the assassin coven of witches had taken her all across Alagaesia. It was actually a welcome change to just be somewhere for a while with nothing to do. "I think I will train for abit. What are you going to do?" she asked the purple dragon. Edoc'sil took off into the desert sky. 'I think I will fly for a while. I'll be close if you need me.' And with that he soared off into the sky.
Aethelwyne began her training ritual. The silver bracelets running the length of her forearms reflected the light as she rhythmically moved to a melody that was unheard by other's ears. She twirled, twisted, and jabbed, dancing around an unseen enemy. Her white hair and gown flowing behind her as she moved and spun. Her violet eyes were intense as she concentrated. She practiced with grace and speed as she danced on and on. Her human/elf heritage provided her many benefits but being raised by the coven of seithrs gave her the greatest advantages. Through them she had learned the ways of the assassin and their way of magic. The greatest of which was her ability to change her appearance with but a wave of her hand. No one else in the coven had this ability. It must have had something to do with her elven side but Aethelwyne did not know. She didn't remember her parents. Only the coven witches who took her in and raised her as one of their own. They were extremely pleased when Aethelwyne happened upon Edoc'sil on one of her journeys. He was born in the wild and they had bonded when she received the Gedwey ignasia. He was her best friend, protector, confidant...the only real family she truly had.
She practiced on, waiting for Edoc'sil to return.

Taran looked around them, feeling more uneasy than normal. He then lay on his back, still beside Nerasa, looking up at the stars, trying to calm himself.

"hmm I grew up in silthrim and I had many brothers and no sisters to tell you the truth. I was the only girl out of the seven of us. My friend Seana and I grew up together and when she was extreamly young and we were outside playing her parents died by the empire. She was raised by my parents and then my parents died as well. With all the death around her she grew cold and bitter to the empire and of course the Varden." Nerasa said
"I realised this because I was the only one, besides her brother Gabriel to see how she was turning out. Later when she was a little older she trained to become an assassin and gabriel went with her." said Nerasa who took a sip of the tea.
"I don't know why I am even telling you all of this but maybe its because I never really had anyone to tell before. Seana and I haven seen each other for a hundred years but we remained close and I joined her to become an assassin but after a month of training I droped out. For personal gain maybe or because I just didn't like it. I don't remember but I know things about assassins that many don't." she continued.

Taran listened intently as Nerasa told him about himself, revealing more to him than he had to her. He suddenly felt guilt, but didn't know why. He decided to tell her more about himself, though not sure how or why. "Well, it seems you've told me more than I've told you. I think you deserve to hear more. May father was a weapons master in Ellesmera, and he taught me how to use the sword from a very young age. When I was still young, my family was killed by a shade named Reka. She killed them before my eyes, forcing me to watch. I do not know why she let me live, but she did. I dedicated the rest of my life to tracking her down and killing her. Now, I'm not sure what I'm to do with my life. I guess that's why I'm always wandering around the world."

"I guess a person's life is based on what has happened and what they must do. I see that we are similar in some ways but different. I don't even know why I said what I did but maybe its out of pity but then again if I keep all my emotions in then those emotions would come out some how." Nerasa said and finished her tea.
"Its our choices we make in our life that make us truely who we are. If it weren't for our choices then those choices wouldn't shape us to be who we are today and those future choices that are coming will shape us into who we will be then. We need to make choices in order to survive and those choices are coming every day. Make your choices wisely for they will and could shape you to be different then you are now." she cautioned.
"My father said that to me when I was younger. I held true to those words. Every day I wonder if the choices I made were the right ones. Just listen to this and you will know that your choices will lead you to different parts of the world but never lose yourself because of those choices. Be true to yourself, your friends, and family for they are there for you and will also see the choices you make in the future." she continued.

Taran smiled at Nerasa while looking at the stars. "You are right, of course. We are similar, but we are also different. It seems many people are like that. Similar in many aspects, though different in others. Take the terms 'good' and 'evil,' they are subjective to each person's point of view, and both seek power and control, and both, to a degree, desire some form of peace. The major difference between the two is how they reach their goals, the choices they make." Taran remained looking at the stars, but he felt a soft pressure on his mind. Strengthening his mental barriers, he looked around him slowly, then stopped when he saw Narth. The horse was looking directly at him, his eyes seeming to glow with a fury.
