Taran smiled, then grabbed her hands in his to keep her from tickling him. "That is good," he said, kissing her cheek. Standing from bed, he put his hands on his hips, looking up into the ceiling. "I am man! Hear me roar!" he said with a laugh, then pulled his clothes on.

Aethelwyne rose slowly. She gathered her clothes and proceeded to put them on. Walking into the kitchen, she grew dizzy and reached out to steady herself. She grasped hold of the wall of the cave and leaned against it while she regained her balance.

Taran moved to Aethelwyne's side, helping her to steady herself. "What is it, Aethe?" he asked concerned. "Are you okay?"

"I think I am fine. I just feel strange this morning." She looked to him smiling just as the wave hit her. Running to the door, she threw it open and ran out into the snow. Finding a large rock near the door, she went behind it and threw up.

Taran grabbed a thick blanket, then ran out following Aethelwyne.

Picking up a handful of clean snow, Aethelwyne put it into her mouth and then spat. Wiping her mouth on her sleeve, she saw Taran following her with a blanket. "It's okay love. I am fine really." She walked to him. She was not cold at all. In fact her body felt very warm.

Taran moved quickly, wrapping her in the blanket and taking her inside before she could protest. "You're not fine, love," he said, laying her in bed and putting sheets and multiple blankets on top. "You're getting sick somehow, you need to lay in bed and rest. The height and cold are getting to your immune system. Your body isn't used to it yet, give it time to adjust." Taran hurried to make some hot tea, giving her a warm cup and some hot food.

Aethelwyne looked at him as he hurried to take care of her not even giving her time to protest. "You know dear. It could be something as simple as morning sickness." She knew morning sickness did not usually accompany a fever, but didn't want him to worry. She let him lead her into bed and accepted the hot tea and food. Worried that it would stay down.

Taran took a chair and sat beside the bed, pulling a warm fur coat about him. "Now, eat that slow, love," he said. "Small, slow bites at a time. And slow, small sips of that tea."

Her eyes sparkled as the smile softly crept upon her lips. "Yes doctor. Whatever you say." Doing as he said, she took small bites and small sips. "I think I am fine darling. See it's staying down."

Taran gave her a disbelieving look. "Love, you don't just lose balance then go throw up from morning sickness," he said, leaning forward, elbows on the bed.

She smiled at him as she gently ruffled his hair. "Well what do you expect me to do all day?" she asked with an amused smile on her face. "I feel okay right now and I think I was okay last night." She narrowed her eyes as the smile played coyly on her lips.

"Actually, I think you were perfect last night," he said with a sly smile. "But I'm not sure exactly what it is, and we are very far from anyone who can help. I don't want to risk you getting hypothermia or pneumonia. Up here, that can kill." He rose, putting more logs on the fire. "You will stay inside all day, at least until you can keep good food down. And you need to stay warm and dry."

"Then if I am to do all of this, what will you be doing my love?" She hated the idea of being in bed all day. Especially with so much to do. They needed to plan to rescue Eli but Aethelwyne wasn't even sure where she would be. "It would be easier to stay in bed if say...I had company?"

Taran smiled, putting his hand on her hip above the sheets. "Later, love," he said, standing. "Right now, I need to go collect water and food. Wouldn't want to starve now would you?" He moved to the doorway, then turned back to her. "I mean it. Stay in bed. I'll have Doc make sure you do so." He smiled then walked outside, shutting the heavy door behind him.
