The man let out a piercing cry as blood spurted from every pore. As the Jarl's personal executer, Tia was put to the task of ridding the land of a murderer. She decided to take him to the desert where his screams would not disturb anyone. She composed a simple spell that would slit his Aorta, the major Atery in his heart, giving him 20 seconds of total agony before he fially colapsed. Dead. "That should do the trick." She turned to her wolf sister Aela, the Shrrg she grew up with. Aela grimaced but nodded.
(Just so you know, a Jarl is like a lord. They're basically the same thing, only Tia's vocabulary is weird. She only learnt English and politics when she was 14/15)

"What is this all about?" Jaygon asked seeming to drop out of nowhere. "What kind of magic are you conjuring up Tia? Who gave you the order to kill this man?" he asked. The Varden had lately been acting a bit strange of late. Those who they said they were just going to hold prisoner were being suddenly executed. And not just by an executioner, but by the riders of the Varden. Dragons Riders were not supposed to be executioners and so Jaygon took it upon himself to get to the bottom of this and give the information to Nasuada herself.

"A runner gave me a letter from one of Orrin's Lords, this man was a cold-blooded murderer, so I was supposed to get rid of him." Tia said, surprised. She reached out for Nula and felt the strange emptiness. Yet again she had forgotton that her bond was far away.

"Which Lord ordered this unauthorized execution? By which trial was this man condemned to death? Please answer me Tia," Jaygon said. This was a strange turn of events if this Lord of Orrin's was the source of this then he or she must be brought to justice and be removed from his position. "Orrin's Lords don't have any power over this prisoner. This one is a Varden prisoner, not a Surdan prisoner."

"I don't know of the trial, just that lord Ardor needed him dead!" Tia was worried now, what if there was something wrong? And she didn't like making her elder riders angry. "I didn't know to wich faction he bellonged." Aela whined beehind her, not liking the situation either.

Jaygon didn't like where this was going. Arresting Lord Ardor wasn't going to be easy and it could put the Varden in a dangerous position. But Jaygon couldn't just stand aside and watch, could he? "You two come with me we have some business with Lord Ardor whether he wants it or not..." Jaygon had a sick feeling in his stomach about what he was about to do. But this was necessary so that the rest of the lords would honor the Varden and the agreement that the lords would have no power over anyone under the jurisdiction of the Varden.

Tia turned and rubbed cheeks with Aela, telling her that everything would be okay. Though she wasn't really sure herself. "We're coming."

"Then to Surda we're going. Lord Ardor recently went back to his home to supposedly put up defenses around the border," Jaygon said. "Unviel," he said in the Ancient Language. Turma suddenly became visible her scales shining in the desert sunlight. "Come you two we must proceed in haste," he said beginning the climb up her leg to her back which was large enough to hold a small village. "This is going to be a stretch, but if Lord Ardor is the one causing unrest then this could be dangerous," Jaygon said to himself.
