A man sat in a drunken stupor in a tavern in Sundavar. He had probably had too much already, but he was insistant for more. His weary eyes showed pain that couldn't be described. Hatred and fury were reflected inside him. And something else...failure. His green and blue eyes showed all the dishonor he knew was his. He couldn't even capture a single little girl. And now she was gone...beyond his grasp, having flown away across the blasted sea on that amber dragon of hers. She left, and was beyond his reach. He stood on unsteady legs and walked toward the door. He ran into the frame, but barely felt the pain. He stumbled out into the street, but collapsed only a few yards away. Kyrron was a poor specimen of them man he once was...and he was beyond hope.

Elipia pulled her cape around her as she dismounted Driken, her snow-white stallion. The air was warm here, but not as warm as she was used to. To her, it was like being in a frozen tundra. She shivered a bit inside the warmth of her dressings, then tethered up Driken to a pole outside of the bar. She stroked his nose, then sighed. "This is the last time, Drike. This is the last mission I have in the freezing parts." She stepped away from her horse, and was about to step into the warmth of the bar when she found exactly what she was looking for a mere two feet away. "Kyrron, is that really you?" She said the words with hate dripping from her tongue and with false excitement. "I've been looking for you, miserable man." This, in her own tone. Hate shot from her eyes and her heart welled with misery at what this man had done to her career. She was only given the easy assignments now. Like killing Kyrron. Except he wasn't a mission given to her by Galbatorix. He was a mission given to her by her shoulder, in which he had ruined by burrowing a dagger in it when looking for Jeriah. The dagger had cut tendons and muscles that could not be repaired, even when using magic. He had ruined her life.
OCC: Muahahahahaha! She has come for revenge before she gets killed by Rook!

OOC: now that's funny. And sad. Why did you have to go make Elipia evil? lol!
Kyrron glanced up at the sarcastic voice above his head, but his head swam and he couldn't make out who it was. It sounded like that girl he saw years ago, when he was chasing Jeriah. He had thrown a dagger at her, because she stood in his way. He groaned. "Come back when I can fight you properly," he slurred.

OCC: Elipia laughed in a mocking tone. "I'm surprised of you, Kyrron. Don't you know? That would take all the fun out of killing you when I can!" She brought back her foot, then kicked him in the stomach with all the power she could muster. It hurt her foot a great deal, but if the burning rage inside of her would be extinguished, she would do anything. "I can't come back, Kyrron. If I leave, I won't be able to come back. You placed a fiery coal inside of me and I can't take it out. But you can."

Kyrron scowled up at the annoying girl talking to him, and kicking him. wishing she would just shut up and leave him alone in his misery. "And why sssshould I do that?" he slurred out, "You desserve to feel misery. You need to be a failure sometime and sseee how much yyyoouu feel like helping somebody."

Elipia's gaze sharpened. This guy had guts. She could kill him in an instant and he was still fighting. "I don't feel like helping anybody. I feel like killing you." She bent over and gripped the back of his shirt with both hands and yanked him up, then slammed him into the wall. She stood back and smiled, her eyebrows coming down into a V slant, but not quite meeting in the middle. "Remember what you did to me? I should do it back. Permanently take away something important to you. Hmm... Ah. Maybe by capturing your precious Jeriah before you do and dragging her to the King. Then he'll just love you."

Kyrron glared back at the girl through is peripheral vision, since his face was smashed against the wall. He knew well enough what he had done to the girl and felt no remorse. It was done so he could get to Jeriah. If Elipia hadn't been in his way, he probably would have been able to capture Jeriah. But because he had been side-tracked, she had escaped...again. No matter how close he got, the drajl girl eluded him. "Good luck at that," he said. The bang against the wall had helped clear his mind a little. "You'd have to sail across the sea to get to her. Her and that stupid boy that she married and their monsters."

Elipia faltered for a moment, thinking, then smiled. "Then you have nothing to live for, huh? And living is misery for you? Then that is exactly what I will do. You will spend the rest of eternity living. In the world you made for yourself, you will stay forever." She smiled, taking off the gloves on her hand and tucking them into her belt. "Do you agree this is what shall be done, or shall you fight me?"
