History: Soon after the war with Galbatorix ended and Eragon left for Bromsland, an emerald colored egg passed through a small elvish village on the edge of Du Weldenvarden. To this day Darius still doesn't understand what drove him, but the moment the couriers of the egg left something urged him to run after them. He ran as fast as he could after the couriers long into the night until he finally caught up to them. He begged them for a chance to touch the egg, which stunned them so them let him. When he touched the egg it felt cold then it began to heat up until it felt like it was burning his hands Darius never took his hands off the egg and it become cold once again. The couriers were shocked and told him to go home and that a rider would be there soon. Darius took the egg home that night tired and hungry thinking about how he was going to explain this to his parents. Luckily for him his parents had left for ellesmere leaving him the house. That night the egg became restless as it wobbled from side to side until everything seemed to be still. Darius, who never fell asleep, watched almost holding his breath. The shell exploded out from where the baby dragon lay. It's scales were like emeralds and it's small wings were a slightly lighter shade. The hatchling came to Darius and when he touched it it felt like ice water was being poured over his hand followed by a vicious burning sensation. Darius awoke the next morning with the silver marking of a rider on his palm. The little dragon lay on top of him sleeping soundly. That day Jaygon and Turma came and took them to Bromsland to be trained. It didn't take long for Darius to become skilled in combat and magic. Other classes were a little harder but he was a fast learner. Isom, his bond, grew fast and strong he also faired well among the other dragons. Which brings us to current day.
Role Play Sample: Darius walked through a glade sword in hand. "Alright what have you got planed for me this time?" he wondered aloud. An Urgal leaped from behind swinging an immense axe at Darius' head. Darius reversed his grip on the sword and stabbed backwards through the Urgal. As the Urgal let out its dying breath Darius withdrew the blade and swiftly decapitated the Urgal. "Is that all you have for me?" He asked as the Urgal's remains faded away into the shadows. Three Kull came through the trees. Darius' shining green eyes widened, "Isom!" Isom sprayed green fire at them cooking them in their garments. He quickly looked around and Darius nodded and looked in a westerly direction. "Do I pass master?" He asked coming through the trees. More Urgal shadow puppets rushed towards him. "Guess not..."
Isom is a green male dragon. He is extremely loyal and has yet to find himself. Isom has been known to doubt others and their judgement especially those of the elders.
