Baviel sat on the bed after shutting the door behind them, crossing his legs while listening to Marie and her teasing comment. Smiling back at her he chuckled softly and said, "That depends m'lady if you want me to go first." Chuckling some more he sighed softly before saying, "I guess I can go first." Taking a deep breath he thought about everything that happened sense they were separated. Collecting all he could to summarize it he began, "Well... where shall I begin... When the war was over you know that during the fight I was injured gruesomely leaving me bed ridden for about a month or so, and I'm sure you remember how I was stubborn enough to refuse magic unless the situation was dire, due to me worrying about anyone overexerting themselves for my sake." He chuckled softly before continuing, "Well after I had recovered I heard you had left for something, though they never told me the specifics. I wanted to follow you, but the Varden demanded my aid thus I ended up stuck with them for 13 years doing service and keeping order and what odd jobs Lady Nasuada requested." Lowering his head somewhat he continued, "During those years and then on I continued to worry and wondered what had befallen you sense you haven't returned to the Varden, I was haunted by thoughts of something foul had befallen you, every night seeming worse and worse. Eventually sleep became harder and harder to claim without another grim and foul nightmare coming to embrace me to the point I began giving up on sleep for weeks. Eventually Shiroryuu scolded me to sleep and did the best he could to get me a somewhat decent night sleep. Eventually I ended up here in my search for you, and here we are." Raising his head up to look at her with as much of a smile as he could muster and said, "I'm glad I ended up finding you Marie, my love, and hope that fate won't ever tear us apart again." Taking in a deep breath to calm his emotions down a little he shifted his position somewhat to get comfortable once more and asked, "Now I wish to know what has happened sense you left. What caused you to leave the Varden, and what prevented your return to them?" Shiroryuu snorted at Jason's change of subject, knowing he wasn't saying something, but held back the need to ask him further. He nodded when Jason asked if he wished for some meat he brought for the dragons and settled to a more comfortable position and waited patiently for Jason to split the meat evenly between the three of them. OOC: Sorry this took a bit, but I had to sit down and think a bit to get the right words for what I wanted to say for this and hope this turned out well hope you have a good day and hope you enjoy.

OOC: I am SO sorry it took me so long to reply, but I managed to get this post in tonight. I hope you enjoy it. By the way, I am going on vacation with my family from the 17th-22nd of this month, and I will not be able to post during that time. I will try to get at least one or two in before I leave, though. By the way your post was great, and how you communicated Baviel's emotions. How do you think I did with Marie's? I worked hard on this post trying to get it just right. I'm not sure if what I wrote there worked well, though.
Marie went to sit on the bed next to Baviel. She listened intently to what Baviel had to say, and after every part of the story, feelings of guilt tore her apart. The fact that she could have prevented the absolute torture that she'd put Baviel through, made it even worse. In a way it was her fault they had been separated, and soon Baviel was going to find out how. Marie wouldn't blame Baviel if he resented her for this, but at the same time she almost wished he would. Then at least she would get what she deserved.
Marie wondered if her face revealed her own intense guilt, and averted her gaze toward the floor. She knew for sure, however, that she didn't show much of a reply to Baviel's comment. It was like a slap in the face. It wasn't fate that tore them apart, it was her. Marie let out a nervous sigh, and began to talk in a nervous tone. "Baviel, you remember when I first came to the Varden, don't you? I had to tell Nasuada about my life before I came there, and I told her about my father and how he was killed."
Marie glanced at Baviel, trying to read his face, before she continued. "A rider who was involved in his murder was there, at the war I mean. He was on the empire's side, and I found out from certain sources that he was there. He was only there in the early hours of the fight, and escaped away from the war zone due to battle injuries. I thought I would be able to fight him in his weakened state, so the Varden allowed me to hunt him down since they couldn't have that particular empire rider just running around."
Marie gazed at a spot on the floor, wondering what Baviel was thinking at this moment. "It took me a while to find him, since he hid his location and evidence very well. Still, I did find him, and my aim was to kill him. It was wrong of me to do so, but it was revenge. Once I did find him and his dragon, he was better prepared to fight than I had expected. I fought and did kill him, but he almost killed me and Amber before I had the chance. The fight left us nearly dead, and gave me a strange injury."
Marie stopped once more, reluctant to explain her "strange injury" to Baviel. She figured Baviel was going to ask about it or find out sooner or later. Instead she continued, "Apparently Jason was tracking us, because he soon ran into us and healed what injuries he could without overexerting himself. Then Jason helped us get to a village where we could rest and heal for a while. After such a long time of being away from you, I had to go back. But, no one seemed to be able to tell me where you were, or what happened to you. I heard rumors that your injuries were worse than they thought, and others that you were off on some sort of secret mission somewhere. I left the Varden trying to find you, but I never saw nor heard of you. All that time I hoped that you were alive, and I never went back to the Varden."
Marie was still staring at the ground, her hand forming a shaky fist. Marie fought to keep her voice steady. "I never came back because I was too afraid to find out that you were dead, and I should never have left on that selfish mission. It's my fault we were separated, and that you spent all those nights unable to sleep." Hating herself, Marie couldn't find the strength to even look at Baviel.
Jason split the meat equally between the three dragons, setting it near each of them. Midnight gave Jason a look of gratitude before snapping the meat up and swallowing it in a single gulp. Amber, who appeared troubled, nodded her thanks then ate more slowly. Midnight looked over at her for a second, something seemed to pass between them, then he began looking troubled as well. Jason studied them both, and figured it was probably something that had to do with Marie and Baviel.

Baviel looked at Marie and thought he saw something plague her thoughts from the expression of her face, but she gazed at the floor too fast to comprehend if he was right or not. He sat intently as she sighed, a little shaky, as she asked him if he remembered how she first joined the Varden and what she did to join and replied, "How could I forget?" When she looked at him he saw that glimpse of something plaguing her thoughts, but was silent to let her continue her tale. As he listened to her explain everything, listening with pure focus, and slowly it sinked in on what happened to her, how they separated, then how she didn't return. At first he wasn't sure what he felt sense an emotion didn't stick with him long, flashes of worry, anger, confusion, relief, and concern then back in a loop before he could control them effectively. Taking in a deep calm breath he let her tale sink in to him before even saying a thing. When he had an idea what to say he grasped her hand gingerly with a hand on her cheek and brought her face to look at his and said softly, "It doesn't matter, you are safe and your worries were in fact false of my death. The past is set in stone and what has happened will stay that way. You had your reasons and unsettled matters that was attended to and now we are back together once more, and I can only hope that it will stay that way from here on." He smiled softly to her showing that it was all in the past and that she should be happy. After that his thoughts trailed to the comment of a 'Strange Injury' she mentioned in her tale and asked, "What sort of 'Strange Injury has befallen you my love?" Showing concern, wondering if it was life threatening or not and if it was fixable. Shiroryuu Nodded in gratitude to Jason before eating the small morsel that he was given. Eating it quick he noticed his riders emotions were a bit chaotic and couldn't help, but show concern though he kept out of it sense it was between him and Marie. Looking to Amber and Midnight it seemed they were a bit concerned as well then looked at Jason to see if he had a guess on what was on their mind before tending to cleaning some of his scales. OOC: It's no trouble at all and yes i MOST certainly enjoyed the post and i admit you conveyed very well how Marie took the situation and how she felt to it. an overall great post btw im glad u enjoyed mine and i hope u enjoy this one as well.

Marie didn't want to look into Baviel's eyes, but she didn't pull away from him. She did pay attention to what he had to say, but she only nodded and smiled absentmindedly to show that she was glad that Baviel did not show anger toward her for what she had done. Marie couldn't know for sure if he forgave her on the inside too. For all she knew Baviel could be as angry as she was guilty. Since the past was set in stone like Baviel said, Marie wasn't sure what to think. She wondered if she should just forget about it, since she couldn't change it anyways. Yet, maybe the fact that it could not be changed made her guilt worse. Despite her inward conflict, Marie still spoke a reply after her moment of silence. "I have the same hopes as you."
Marie looked away for a moment, wondering what else could be said when Baviel asked about her injury. She pondered the best way to go about explaining it to Baviel. "It's hard to explain really, I don't quite understand it myself." She paused, it appeared that she was thinking something over. When she continued, her voice didn't seem to carry much emotion. "It was one of the couple major injuries from my fight with that rider. However, it wasn't nearly as life threatening as the other. It was also in a strange place, my left ankle. The only reason It was considered a major injury, was due to the fact that it was difficult to heal with magic and that it was more painful than anything else. Jason told me that he was only able to magically heal certain areas. The rest of it scared over. It still hurts me a little once in a while, but nothing like when the wound was fresh." Marie finished her little story, hoping Baviel wouldn't be too concerned about her.
Jason noticed Shiroryuu had tense feelings as well as the other dragons, and wondered if Baviel and Marie had touched a sensitive subject. If that were true, then Jason wondered what they were talking about at this moment. Jason figured they were still on the topic of each others lives since the many past years. Jason came up with one theory. Baviel or Marie could possibly be overreacting to a certain event in the other's life. "I hope their reunion goes well..." Jason said quietly.
OOC: Got a post in before the day in which I leave for my family trip, yay! ^^

Baviel showed concern when Marie wouldn't seem to look into his eyes though she showed a smile to him at least. When she explained what she could about the injury looking down to the ankle she mentioned wondering if he could see it while finding it odd how it still hurt her in the oddest way. When she finished he couldn't help himself from hugging her close to him showing he was not only worried for her, but even more glad that she was still fine and in one piece before him. While he hugged her close he whispered softly, "All the more reason I'm glad you're still in one piece, no matter the injury, and hope we never part still." He pulled himself away a little to look at his love showing he was glad to be with her again. After some time in thought Baviel brushed Marie's cheek lightly before saying, "Well my love, with ourselves caught up on what has happened, how about we find something more positive to reflect on?" chuckling lightly after asking hoping Marie's spirit can be lifted from the grim and depressing thoughts of the past. Shiroryuu looked down to Jason when he heard him whisper his concern, nudging him a little to snap him out of it and said, It should be fine soon Jason... I know Baviel wouldn't want them to dwell on it for far too long. He then turned his attention to Amber and Midnight wondering if they were just as concerned as Jason, not helping that he too was concerned as well for the two. OOC: I truly apologize for the delay for this, but work with work and family events going on i didn't get much time to think >.< but I'm really glad to put this up and hope you enjoy it. have a good day

Marie noticed that Baviel was looking at her left ankle where the scar was. Her shoes and pants covered the scar, and Marie was glad for that. She did not want him to see the scar as it was now, a slightly red color that made the scar look oddly angry in a way. Marie shifted her leg away awkwardly, getting uncomfortable with the fact that Baviel was looking at it. Marie's mind was starting to drift when Baviel suddenly hugged her. She made a surprised squeak sort of noise. Marie pressed her face into a spot near Baviel's neck, and put her arms around him gently. She hugged him close as well, feeling his heartbeat and warmth as he breathed. Glistening tears were forming around her eyes, but Marie looked happy. She was, in fact, and the tears were those of happiness. Marie sat there, gazing at Baviel lovingly after he let go of her. She almost wished that she and Baviel could just sit there awhile in silence, simply being together and sharing their warmth. Her eyes were not tearing so much anymore, but they still glistened with emotion. Marie almost missed Baviel's words, and they seemed more like distant murmurs. However, she seemed to catch the meaning. Smiling, Marie said, "That we have met in the same place, of all places, is surely something to celebrate. I feel as if it weren't merely luck, or circumstance that led us here." Jason blinked, and his focus was instantly snapped back to the dragons. Jason felt annoyance toward the nudge from Shiroryuu, but quickly let it go in case the dragon could feel it during their mental conversation. Of course you would know, being in his mind constantly. Jason replied, meaning to imply that he hoped Shiroryuu was right about what he told Jason. Amber and Midnight were mentally communicating, but they soon stopped to look at Shiroryuu when they noticed his interest in them. OOC: The wording of this might be strange, or there might be some typos that I haven't noticed. I was a bit drowsy when I wrote this. I tried to make it at least decent, though.

OOC: hahaha don't worry i was the same when i wrote mine, but no so far i didn't see anything wrong and i rather enjoyed it glad i got to do some more of this ^_^ Baviel was briefly concerned when he noticed tears rolling down Marie's face, but soon noticed how happy she was and couldn't help feeling the same. Smiling with warmth and love to her, he nodded from Marie's comment and said, "Aye I can agree to that, sense I feel rather the same. Either way meeting together in one place is quite something of merit." Tapping his thigh lightly he thought of what to do that would keep Marie's spirits high as they were now. As he thought he gently brushed Marie's cheeks to wipe the tears off her face even though he knew that they were brought from happiness while smiling to her. After doing so he thought that maybe a good fly around together might be something they both could enjoy together. He snapped from his thoughts and asked, "My love how would you feel about going on a good fly around?" grasping her hand gently while smiling at the thought of flying with her again. Shiroryuu slightly noticed Jason's annoyance to his nudge, but didn't press the matter as he replied, Aye it's true, but it matters not sense both Amber and Midnight know both you and Marie quite well due to being with each other for a big majority of their lives. He looked towards the city where his rider was happy to feel that Baviel seemed in a better and how it appeared the reunion was heartening for his rider. Nodding to himself he returned his attention towards Jason and the Dragons wondering what might happen next. OOC: slight delay on this one apologies for that, but when i wrote it i hit a mental block and had to wait a little to finish I hope you enjoy the post and have a great day ^^

OOC: lol and i'm usually not tired ever but I took these allergy pills for my cold that made me really drowsy because I took a higher dosage since any kind of medicine hardly works on me very well (lol that was a heck of a runon sentence) IC: Marie didn't reply for a few moments after Baviel asked her if she wanted to go flying. Her mind was somewhere else. She was trailing off into space with a daydream about flying, and being with Baviel as well. I would enjoy feeling the air under my wings, and a chance to stretch them. Amber had a habit of jolting Marie back into reality when her thoughts wandered too much. Sometimes it was helpful, other times it was an annoyance. Then it is settled. Marie replied to Amber. She looked at Baviel, giving him a somewhat apologetic smile for the delay in her reply. "Baviel, I would love to go flying with you. Amber agrees. It would be both enjoyable and refreshing. When should we go? Now or later?" Marie smiled again, this time normally.
That is true. Jason said in reply. For that reason, all four of us are comfortable with communicating with one another. We have grown to be good friends, since me and Marie communicate almost equally with Amber and Midnight as well as each other. It almost feels like we are all connected in some way. Jason looked at Amber, who was now lying more comfortably on the ground. She looked over at Midnight from time to time, apparently having mental conversations. Jason sighed, knowing all was well for now. He looked around at the dragons, wondering if Baviel and Marie would come out of the room they were in soon.

OOC: lol some meds don't work well on me, but its a hit and miss thing for me. and this took longer then i intended due to me being ill >.<, but as always hope u enjoy and have a good day Baviel watched Marie as he waited patiently for her reply, wondering what was on her mind, and taking into account her eyes were like they were distant so he just thought she spaced and left it be. He chuckled as she gave a smile that appeared apologetic and said, "Well m'love I feel now would be pleasant if I should say so myself, sense it would be both liberating and enjoyable to fly alongside one another. Plus it would be nice to see Amber, Jason, and Midnight again." He smiled warmly to Marie as he enjoyed the smile Marie gave him in turn, standing up and holding a hand out to Marie in invitation as both being helped up as well as to hold her hand. Baviel reached to Shiroryuu and said, We're on our way Shiro, we're going to fly around the city for a bit.Shiroryuu chuckled mentally and nodded in agreement to his bond knowing all was well and happy he will be able to actually do something other then sit around. Focusing his attention back to Jason and replied to his statement, Aye, and that in some ways is a advantage to know one another more comfortably. Shiroryuu then decided to lay down as he waited patiently for Baviel and Marie to come and begin their flight.

OOC: Urk, this was a long wait I bet... Srry bout that. x.x I might be really inactive now with school and stuff, but i'll try to get more replies in if I can.
Marie smiled slightly and nodded in reply, then let Baviel help her up. She took the single hand he held out to her in both of hers and suddenly tugged Baviel a few steps forward playfully, but gently. For some reason she almost felt like her old cheerful self again, they way she was before she lost contact with Baviel. There was a sudden feeling that everything would return to normal. Marie laughed, wondering if she'd surprised him. "Well, we should hurry, shouldn't we? We wouldn't want to keep the others waiting." She teased. "Oh, should we ask Jason to fly with us as well?" Marie asked. "He's probably been waiting for something to do." She looked outside the window in the direction of the dragons and Jason then quickly back at Baviel, as if her eyes moved with the direction of her thoughts. She then smiled to show that she was ready to go.
Jason was now sitting on a dry log, tossing up and bouncing idle rocks, or anything else he could find among the leaves and dirt on the ground, off of his hand into the air. He tried not to drop or miss the objects. Jason never much cared to sit around and simply do nothing while he waited for things to take place. Yes, I suppose that's true. He thought in reply. Jason stopped messing around with random objects, and stretched his arms and back once while he sat there.

OOC: don't worry bout it, I figured it had something to do with school . it's more important, but I'm glad you had some time to post after all of that take your time btw, I'm not in any big rush (continue: egad this took a while >.< had this saved but couldn't find the words i wanted... sorry bout that ) Baviel smiled as Marie took his hand with both of hers, but was taken by surprise when she pulled him teasingly, but gently, to her that he nearly lost his balance. He chuckled after recovering his balance and hugged her impulsively, and thought, It seems Marie is more like herself now, it's good to see her completely back to normal. Pulling back from the hug, he smiled to her as she stated they should hurry for the flight and nodded saying, "Aye wouldn't want to keep them waiting." As he started for the door he heard her ask if they should ask for Jason to come along and said, "Well if he wants to love, I'm sure he was waiting for quite a while, I hope he didn't get bored..." He grabbed the door pulled it open and beckoned for her to come with him. Shiroryuu found it amusing how Jason was messing with random objects before commenting on what he had said to him and merely observed him until he quit what he did to stretch. Once the amusement ceased he went to clean his scales starting to become a little impatient from waiting for their flight.

ooc: sorry, late and a bit short, hope that's fine with you as long as it's a paragraph...
ic: Marie laughed, then squeaked with surprise at his impulsive and sudden hug. She returned it, then nodded in agreement after he beckoned for her to come with him. After walking out into the hallway Marie turned back toward Baviel for a moment with a joyful and slightly mischievous smile. "Let's hurry! Can't catch me!" Marie said, seeming almost childlike. She darted down the hallway, then jumped down a flight of stairs. When she landed, she turned around to look at Baviel to see if he was chasing after her or not. Amber was amused about what Marie had just done, she'd always had a sort of childlike playfulness and fun-loving personality.

OOC: o.O the change... how odd and sorry for being so long work wasn't exactly kind these past weeks... hope ur having fun and having a good day and as always enjoy Baviel smiled as Marie returned his hug, then was shocked to see her react with new found energy as she went off saying, "Lets hurry, can't catch me!" smiling back to her with a mischievous smile of his own and yelled, "You're on!" and chased off after her. He watched her as he ran in a full on sprint after her, noticing her grace and nimbleness as she ran then jump down the flight of stairs, following suit with as much force as he can to make the flight of stairs without fair. As he leapt into the air he saw Marie looking at him, so he smiled and said, "If you stop like that I'll catch you in no time." When he landed, nearly missing the last step, he rolled to prevent some of the pain that would plague his legs if he didn't do so and looked around to make sure Marie took off again. Shiroryuu nearly broke out in laughter when he noticed how his rider treated the situation Marie presented and merely stretched his wings to do his best to prevent laughter, and wondered just if his rider would get even more childish then he is now. Shaking his head knowing Baviel wouldn't get as childish he reached to Amber and said in a sarcastic tone, "My my it seems our riders have grown much younger in behavior. If this keeps up we might have to keep watch over them, or they might get themselves into trouble." chuckling softly afterwards before turning his head towards the direction of both the riders, eager for their return, and to fly once more.

OOC: I tried to make my writing better, meaning less crappy. (yes i hate it) :/ Anyways, hi. It's been a while, haha. Hope life is good. There's a lot of new things on the site. Marie found Baviel's surprise rather amusing and for a moment she thought he would call the little game childish and be too embarrassed to join in on the fun. She wasn't sure whether she should be surprised or not when he smiled that mischievous smile of his and decided to play along after all. Marie, however, was surprised when Baviel ran quickly down the hall and jumped down the entire flight of stairs. Baviel had nearly caught up to her in that short amount of time. She'd have to start running pretty soon if she wanted to distance herself from him. Marie noted, to herself, the improvement in Baviel's strength and speed compared to the last time she'd seen him many years ago. "You've gotten faster." Marie said, somewhat rushing to get the words out so that she could quickly start running again. Then she turned and darted down the hall. Marie looked back once to see how she was doing, and wondered if she too had improved. She kept running, but slowed down a little when she neared the entrance to the inn, a bit embarrassed. Of course, she just sped up once again as soon as she left the inn. Marie kept running until she reached the outer edge of town, a direction that would take her to the spot where Jason and the dragons were waiting. It was just Marie's luck that her left ankle started hurting again while she was running. It wasn't as painful as some of the other attacks she had to deal with in the past, but it was enough to make her cry out, half in pain and half in surprise, then fall forward onto the ground. So much for the race. She winced until it stopped, then became embarrassed and annoyed with herself as she realized that she'd probably made Baviel worry about her. Marie hoped that he hadn't seen that as she stood up and lightly tested the strength of her ankle on the ground. Amber looked at Shiroryuu, an amused glint lighting up her eyes. She was just about to reply with a somewhat clever statement when she felt Marie's pain and froze in surprise for a moment. That amused expression that had been on her face a moment ago changed into more of a stunned and surprised look. The pain hadn't actually bothered her much at all, and had only caught her off guard. She knew it was only a small attack, and that she didn't have to worry, but she sensed that Marie was a bit nervous that Baviel would overreact.
