Other info:(I use a phone so my posting won't be long) Ali has a condor as a pet. He found the condor, Felix, injured and nursed it back to health. The condor stays with him and is Ali's closest friend.
History: Born in the Hadarac Desert, Ali is part of the Wandering Tribes. His family lived close to Du Weldenvarden and had many dealings with the älfakyn. He learned the ancient language from them. As he grew up he noticed that with certain words something would happen. He knew he was a spellcaster. Once he was older he was asked to join with Du Vrangr Gata, which he refused. He honed his skills and would travel alone. During one of his travels he meet a dwarven priest. The priest was a gambler and didn't think Ali could beat him in combat. Ali proved his skills and easily beat the priest claiming the staff sword as his prize, much to the displeasure and embarassment of the dwarf. Ali practiced with the staff and got fairly efficient with the weapon. He would travel to Illeria often and met Nasuada, who had his deepest respect. When he returned to his peoples settlement in the Hadarac Desert, he was challenged by a rival spellcaster in the trial of the long knives. He beat the spellcaster with six cuts on his arm to the five that the rival was barely able to cut. Ali wears the scars with honor and is proud to best someone in the trials. He found an injured condor in the desert and took the bird in and nursed him back to health. He named the bird Felix and the condor has never left his side. Felix is his closest friend.
Role Play sample: Ali was sitting in a tent in his people's camp with Felix resting on the ground. He looked at the condor and smiled. The bird had seen him through many challenges. He stepped out of the tent and just observed the actions of the camp. He saw the blacksmith forging a beautiful dagger, a herder marshaling his cattle through the camp, a woman hanging laundry, and two kids with sticks sword fighting. He smiled at the kids and thought such spirit they had. Felix woke up and flew to his shoulder as Ali grabbed his staff. He strode to the edge of the camp and looked out towards the horizon. What he saw dampered his spirits, Urgals. "Urgals! Urgals approaching the camp!" he yelled as he ran to get his horse. He rode off towards the urgals, followed by the warriors of the tribe. He muttered a phrase in the ancient language that made a sink hole like area to at least slow down the urgals. His spell did slow them down but not near what he hoped, so he ended the spell. One of the warriors fired an arrow at an urgal, so Ali muttered brisingr igniting the arrow in mid flight. The arrow plunged burning into the chest of the urgal. He slowed the horse down and allowed the warriors to go ahead of him. An urgal got close to him but he slashed downward with the sword staff, cutting into the urgals head. The battle was fierce and many of the tribe's warriors died but the urgals were defeated. Ali and the remaining warriors gathered the dead and wounded and moved them back to the camp. Ali healed those he could but grew tired after a while and left to rest as the other spellcasters healed them. The dead were buried and a short prayer was said over there graves.
