The Swordsman

Today, Christopher Paolini released a scene that was cut from Inheritance. It is a short duel made to pay tribute The Amber Chronicles by Roger Zelazny, as well as some of the classics such as The Princess Bride. Originally meant to be featured in the second chapter, The Swordsman was cut from the final release due to the fact that it slowed down the action significantly. However, it is still an entertaining scene, and Paolini is glad for the chance to share it with his fans now.

I saw this today but i was in class at the time but i forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.

Oh wow i wouldn't think Eragon to just stab some one through the heart maybe bash him over the head with his sword pommle and nock him out. And its sort of un Characteristic of Roran with the whole killing thing... if i remember right he wasn't fond of killing if he didn't have to.
