History: During the war, Eragon and Saphira saved Erik's mother from falling debris during one of the many sieges. Erik's mother was a elfin warrior who fell in love with a human man who's identity is unknown as of now. A year after the war, Erik was born. When the elven community that his mother was part of found out about him, he and his mother were banished. Raised in a small town, hidden away, one day he found his way into the town and made friends with a small girl. They talked about normal things that five year old's would. Raised on his mothers tales of dragons and dragon riders, he belived in things that his few friends soon laughed at. At twelve years old he still wanted to meet the hero, eragon, or even, dare he imagine, become a dragon rider himself. When Erik was thirteen a dragon rider on a blue dragon fought a vicious battle with a rouge rider just outside of the village. The rider was knocked out and Erik's mother brought him back to her house and cared for the rider for two days. After the rider woke up, it was revealed that the rider was Eragon, the hero who had saved his mother's life so long ago.
Role Play Sample: Erik looked up and saw a spot of dark blue, rapidly growing larger. Soon it grew into a dark blue dragon, flying towards the main road. Could this be one of the great dragon riders? Erik thought as he raced toward the road. He heard crashes and roars as he raced up the dirt path. However he could only run so fast, and when he arrived at the scene of the fight, he found only a man with pointed ears, not unlike his own, lying on the ground. He dashed over and felt for a pulse. It was faint but weak. As Erik tried to carry the man back to his house, which was far into the woods around the village, He did not notice the shadow growing above him until sharp but gentle claws grasped him and the man and lifted him up. Erik passed out with shock. Erik awoke, lying on the ground atop a pile of blankets, the man he had found was lying on his bed, across the room. Erik sat up slowly and looked around. He heard his mother talking outside, but no one was talking back to him. He returned to his room and noticed the strange man's bag, which a gold/yellow stone was peeking out of. Seizing the stone, he rushed into the woods. Soon, a tapping began to ring through the stone. Startled, Erik dropped the stone. The stone cracked open and a small golden head peeked out. Erik put his hand out, palm facing up, as the creature approached he put his hand out to touch it, and then the world turned to blinding burning light, and his hand hurt like nothing he could ever had imagined. He woke up in the strange man's arms. "What was that?" Erik asked weakly. "That," the man said, "Was a dragon."
