Part of the reason I haven't posted here is that I have been focusing most of my muse for writing into my uni work. At uni I study Music composition and production and I just finished my latest piece of music, my first finished Orchestral piece and the longest piece of music I've ever written.
I was inspired by the quote:
"Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.” – Yoda.
My intention behind this composition was to take the listener on a journey through the seven emotional states: Confidence, Doubt, Fear, Anger, Hate, Acceptance and Love. (It had to be seven because Harry Potter.)
The title I chose Ilumëo you may or may not recall in the Ancient Language means Truth. I thought was fitting since in the ancient language you can't lie which I feel like for me this rings true with the language of music.
