Hi all! just to let you know, my dads op was a success! it took 13 hours, but its all done and dusted now! well not really, he is still asleep, has been since tuesday morning. he cant breath on his own yet and he keeps trying to pull the pulgs out and get out of bed while he is asleep haha! so he is still in ICU but doing good! 
i'm back off to melbourne today to be with my mum. should be back in a couple of days though.
