Abide by these rules and everything will run smoothly, but, if there is a major offense against one of these rules, there may, and most likely, will be consequences.
1. No god moding. This means that you can't controll what other people's charactes say, do, or if they get injured or not.
2. No profanity. Don't use over-foul language, the minor stuff is okay (like damn), but nothing huge (Like F***). No sexual content. Kissing and dating is okay but don't let it go too far.
3. Don't be a bully. Be nice and respectful to everyone on the site. Of course you can joke around and be sarcastic, but never get serious about it.
4. No double posting. This means that you can't post another post right after one of your own. Pretty simple right.
5. Only create characters from the races in the Inheritance Trilogy.
6. On a similar note, do NOT create random cities, kingdoms, armies, races, etc. that have nothing to do with the Alagaesia created by Christopher Paolini. If you have something like this in mind, PM me about it first, and I'll see if I can allow it.
7. Cannon characters may only be used after 100 posts and the creation of a character application. Only one cannon per person!
8. If you decide you no longer wish to play your cannon character, you may drop the character. If you should decide you want to play another instead, then you may apply again. If you then drop that character, then you can no longer apply for a cannon. So Choose wisely!
9. If you do not plan on using a cannon character, but have them somehow involved with your own character, PM me about it first!
10. You may create 4 dragon rider characters, but they may not be created as riders from the past war with Galbatorix. They must be dragon riders from the newer generations raised by Eragon. However, if you already have a dragon rider from the past, then you may keep them, and they will not count towards the limit. In time, the limit may change. In order to play a dragon rider character, you must first pass the Dragon Rider Quiz!
11. Ancient riders are rider from before the fall. They were sent on a mission across seas, and are now returning. These count as cannon characters, but not as one of your dragon riders. There are a total of five ancients. Ancients may chose their own side.
12. Dragon riders can be no more than sixteen years of age. (This pertains to the new dragon riders).
13. You must create a character application and have it APPROVED before you can play in the actual role play boards and threads.
