So, I've realized that all the wild dragon eggs have been taken Often either a Varden or Empire person had one hatch for them, as well as a neutral. This probably makes things rather awkward for those who want to make a neutral Rider, which would mean having them leave one side or the other.
I have a solution to this, with Trinn's permission. We have ancient Riders. The dragons must have mated at some point, so the Riders probably have several eggs with them. So, (again, asking Trinn's permission) ancient Riders can each have up to five eggs to give to new Riders. Tismri and Ismrolde have already given two eggs, one to Tenel Ka and one to Maxwell. So if we agree on this, you would just have to PM the person you want to get an egg from. If the person likes your app., then they can be accepted.
So...what do y'all think? Good idea? Bad idea? Opinions, please.

COOL! Maybe even the regular rider's dragons could mate. *thought bubble apprears overhead with Shanith and Vanidor inside it*

That's pretty cool...but then again, wouldn't that only work with Ancient Riders with female dragons? Like Aren and Jamr...would Jamr have to mate with some female dragon? Like Ismrolde or something?

It is a good idea to consider, but I think it would be more appropriate if we use all the eggs that are available from the Varden and Empire side before we start discussing about other eggs. I think it forces us to be more creative for those who want to remain neutral.

Yeah, but some of us aren't that creative. lol. And that's a good point, FS. That probably means only Linea and I could have eggs. Unless the male dragons mated with wild dragons and got the eggs for safe-keeping.
And I guess you make sense too, Max. Like I said, we can discuss it for now.

Hmmm. I'm kind of torn. I agree with both Tismri and Max. I was formerly planning on using up all the eggs, and then doing something else to bring more in. (I had actually been considering the mating of all the non-ancient dragons) I'll have to think more on it, been in the meantime, please continue the discussion.

Hmm, I think using up all the present eggs are a good idea, though the Empire's eggs are harder to get at if you want to go neutral. After all, Galby doesn't like traitors *speaks from experience*. But I also like the "bring in new eggs" idea/ I'm torn.  |

It does sound like a good idea, but I'm still on the idea of using all the eggs available because let's face it, the Empire has fewer riders than the other two groups. To be more fair, it'll be easier to just use the available eggs and then have the characters switch around their allegiances that way it isn't clear of who has the advantage over who until the final chapter in the inheritance cycle comes out. Does that make sense? I think I'm confusing myself....I'm just thinking of the battles that will have to eventually be written...speaking of which....we should have a huge battle!!!! lol

BATTLES!!!!!! Oh man...if we had finished VC, I was planning on having a HUGE battle there, involving, like, every Rider (some good, some bad), all the elves and dwarves and Urgals that Jeriah had randomly under her command, and the Ra'zac...and Doran too. Good ole Doran...out fallback evil guy. Anyway...yeah, battle sounds good. lol. |
